“We recently hosted a private function at Divine Restaurant in Shirley, Solihull on Saturday 30th May 2025, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’re a team from EH Smith, and we had exclusive use of the restaurant for the evening – and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, professional, and attentive. The team at Divine went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. The ambiance was lovely, and the restaurant felt welcoming and vibrant, perfectly suited for our group event. The food? Outstanding. Every single dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and authentically Indian. From the starters to the desserts, everything was top-notch – our whole team was raving about it! There was something for everyone, and all dietary needs were catered for without any fuss. A huge thank you to the entire team at Divine Restaurant for making our evening so memorable. We will absolutely be returning – whether for another private event or just a delicious dinner. Highly recommended! — The EH Smith Team”
“Absolutely vibrant atmosphere and very accommodating staff. Food was a bit spicy though. Drinks were delicious.House chaat was the highlight of our dinner. Highly recommend!”
“First time here for my birthday meal, the food was delicious with great presentation, we also loved the fact it was a small menu. We had the trio of chicken starter, the chicken was so flavourful and tender, as was the lamb in the curries. The staff were lovely and very attentive, I also received a lovely dessert as it was my birthday. Will definitely be visiting again.”
“Excellent all round. The restaurant is a bit of a hidden gem, tucked in behind the bar out of view from the street. We booked late after the cricket and the host couldn't have been more accommodating. The food was brilliant, everything we ordered was one of the best examples of each dish I've ever had. Would be good to see a few local cask & keg beers on the bar but still an ok range. Will seek it out again when in Birmingham next.”
“The Masaladosa I had was really delicious. The chicken biryani was aromatic and gave me the authentic taste of the real Indian cuisine. The friendly approach of the staff is highly appreciative.”
“Regularly eat here and always been great food, friendly staff! Desi cinnamon special is a highlight that can't easily be found elsewhere.”
“I rate this curry house very highly. I’ve been here 5 times now and each time the food and service has been outstanding. The food is cooked fresh to order and is of a high standard. I like the way the chef (Bash) comes out a chat to customers and nothing is too much trouble. Tonight was my partners birthday and they bought out cake for everyone on our table and sung Happy Birthday to him. Very impressed with the food and service and we look forward to our next visit.”
“Vaz and team were lovely providing authentic Portuguese food and drinks at a reasonable price of high quality. Would definitely recommend.”
“Lovely home cooked authentic vegetarian food. Lovely that this little gem has re-opened”
“I had a great experience at Quvali Birmingham. The service was excellent, and our server Sandesh was especially impressive—friendly, attentive, and great at serving the food. The dishes were delicious, and the overall atmosphere made the visit even better. Highly recommended!”
“Food was really great, service and staff were really nice. Good place to get Indian food in Cannock”
“5* absolutely earned on our visit. Having never eaten Nepalese food previously but able to cook authentic Indian food we wanted advice. Our waiter not only offered advice to suit our pallet but explained even what spices were used. Wow what a fantastic meal. I really hope you’re not disappointed WE WEREN’T Thank you to all the helpful staff.”
“Very authentic, great variety and wonderful service. A gem in Kidderminster. It was so good I forgot to take pics! Stop in or make a res on line!”
“What a great restaurant. Food was lovely. Staff were attentive and professional, especially the young man, who looked after us, sadly, i didn't ask his name. He was really helpful, knowledgeable of the menu and ingredients. He also had a great sense of humour. Brilliant night out in Henley-in-Arden, topped off with a great dining experience with friends. Many Thanks. Totally recommend Naya 5 Stars”
“Been using the Chinnar for the best part of 20 years, so have all my family, I have never once had a bad meal either eating in or takeaway, everyone I have ever taken there has loved it! Owner is lovely will do anything for you so will the staff, I have been to hundreds of Indian restaurants and we still have never found anywhere that matches their sheek kebabs! The chicken tikka is the best iv had, most place its little red tint bits of chicken the chinnar do it properly! I do agree with takeaways when spending a bit we should get free popadoms, but honestly the naans, the curries, the mint sauce and deffo the sheek kebabs are some of the best iv ever had and this is not a fake review like some suggest, I honestly love it there and we go there at least 2 Thursdays a month”
“Came with a friend for a work event and travelled 30 minutes and was really worth it Poppadoms, mango chutney is great We had chicken Karahi with naans and good portion sizes Don’t forget to have their mocktails as they tasted amazing Not only that staff was really friendly and attentive Price wise very reasonable and affordable For two people cost no more than £35 for what we ordered. Atmosphere is great with great music in the background Lastly when do you use warm hand wipe with a gentle scent of oud.”
“Hospitality is second to none. These people go over and above to ensure you have a good experience here! The food is outstanding tasty, authentic and rich. What a wonderful night we've had here. Lovely friendly staff and fantastic food is outstanding!! 100% to the chef.”
“This was our first visit, and we will definitely coming back. The restaurant itself, is superb, clean, with a lovely easy and atmospheric feeling. All the staff were polite, very happy and good to chat with. We never felt rushed, just left to enjoy our food and time. The food, I've got to say hand on heart one of, if not the best flavored Indian food we've had and enjoyed. From the starters and the main. Truly good food.”
“Servers were very good and food was incredible. We had the tasting menu with wine pairings and it did not disappoint. Well worth the money and experience. Staff were very nice. The ONLY gripe was that the first few courses came really fast but then had a 45 minute wait for the main. It was worth the wait but when you have a matching menu, you also run out of a drink! The water bottles are expensive so we had to wait for the main and drink.”
“Our server was wonderful though hate saying server she recommended food for us there was more than enough food full of flavour n spice wasn’t badly priced”
“Ooh lala!!!!!!!! This restaurant is one of a kind. We came here on a Saturday evening, staff were very friendly and the food ranks as the best vegetarian restaurant we've been to in UK. Our all time favourite was the soya shash, soya mushroom Balti and chili fry paneer. We enjoyed each of them so so much! We'll definitely be back again”
“Delicious mutton ever I had in England. Chicken seekh was yummy. Overall best experience at MyLahore. Thanks Fahad for wonderful service .”
“Brought my boyfriend here for his birthday meal as we were staying in an AirBnb close by. Service was top tier, the lads were very attentive. We had a cocktail each which were both top quality, although I wish they sold lassi here. Food was beautiful, it felt a lot more authentic than your typical Indian restaurant. If you don't handle spice very well then maybe ask for recommendations as it's on the hotter side, masala chips were very spicy. Different dishes to choose from, the selection was great. Very much enjoyed it although quite pricey, came to nearly £90 for two. Would return if I was in the area”
“My first time ordering here and I will definitely be back. My collection order was ready very quickly and the service was very friendly. The Little Bangla app is very easy to use and the prices are very reasonable. The curry itself was amazing. Very flavourful and the chicken so soft and delicious. I will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu and feel very lucky to have such an excellent restaurant so close to home. I strongly recommend you give the restaurant a try, you won’t regret it.”
“Having tried all the great places like Chaiwalla, Chai Green ... if you havent tried Muhammadi breakfasts your missing out. The food the service the portions the ambiance is great. Enjoyed the 5:99 breakfast from choice of 4 dishes served alongside the Laccha Parata and cuppa tea or drink. It was delicious non oily! The 1 Parata was equivalent to 2 - i was full up having half - The saag was delicious - being from a Bangladeshi background the flavours Pakistani cuisine was absolutely impeccable. The chana had also flavours not like chai green where salt is forgotten- the chef is clearly checking his flavours before serving to his customers. Dont be fooled by the front entrance plenty of seating inside from 8-9 tables and benches. Very comfy and homely... Thankyou Muhammadi for coming into the area. My first choice now compared to chaiwalla and chai green breakfast- Must try!”
“Great food, but can be quite loud if many guests are in as the space is a bit echoing.”
“Generous portion size’s and a really good price point which did not affect the quality of the food. The waiters are very friendly and went the extra mile to ensure we had an excellent dining experience.”
“Great friendly staff, a nice menu that is different and has some unique flair which worked, in a nice restaurant. Will be back!”
“Went there 1st time it was first class food excellent staff very welcoming. Looking forward for another visit soon. You won't be disappointed.”
“Food alone doesn't make a restaurant; the welcome and service goes a long way too. Hilal and the team at the Ameena were charming. Advising us on veggie options and taking seriously our nut allergy dining options. The paneer was sublime in our balti and the stuffed pepper and onion bhaji starters were delicious. Our new local - where we were welcomed like old friends.”
