“Very nice atmosphere good ambiance. . Great people. authentic Indian tasting food. Nice laugh with friends”
“The food & service was absolutely amazing. Thankyou very much to the lovely lady who looked after our table, Krishni she was very attentive & friendly! We will be back again. X”
“Excellent experience tonight with my wife and 2 daughters. Food is excellent as well as the service. Not our local so was apprehensive, found Panchi via tastecard. Made the 30 min journey and have to say will be back. What stands out is they control the heat of their dishes. I've had 2 stars spice in other places and it's blew the head of me. Tonight the spice level was controlled really well. Decent prices as well even better with a tastecard. Parking can be a pain but there is a big car park about 4 minute walk just around the corner and it's free.”
“First time visit to rock city marsh lane and very impressed with the Lamb Curry and Lamb biryani , chef cooked to my preference of medium spice and the lamb was moist almost melt in the mouth . Excellent! Will definitely be back.”
“Fabulous restaurant. The staff are so helpful with your choices. Any questions answered straight away. The knowledge they have, like the temperatures certain food is cooked to is great. The tastes you experience when you eat are phenomanol. I highly recommend Kalash especially if you havent experienced Indian food before.”
“Found this place on Google when looking for a quick casual and different family meal near home. Blown away to find this gem on our doorstep. Though short, the menu is full of unusual and exciting things, and its so inexpensive we tried loads. We will be back to try more very soon.”
“High quality, fresh and tasty food. Hard to pick between this place and Pina Loca for the best place to eat on the Wirral. Service and staff excellent, with the food and decor, a great dining experience”
“I took my friends who were visiting Liverpool for the day for their 4 year olds birthday and the staff were so accommodating and helpful. The food was amazing and we were so happy with the food also. Seriously the staff went above and beyond 11/10!”
“This is pricier than other South-Asian takeaways I’ve been to, but the quality of the food is excellent. The staff are polite and delivery prompt. Their lamb-tikka rogan josh and lamb-tikka vindaloo are the best I’ve ever tasted. I like the fact that the cheese in their saag paneer comes in solid cubes, instead of melted into the spinach. I strongly recommend Khaja.”
“I am genuinely impressed. I normally order this for Takeaway. I went in for dinner one time and it was absolutely amazing. The service the environment definitely coming back. Make sure to order the pineapple fried rice.”
“Lovely staff, food and environment. Was in early so not too many other folk in but plenty of takeaway orders and it started to get busier as we were going.”
“We order here regularly with the lads from work, and we have never had any complaints. The food is always really good and ready within 15 - 20 mins when collecting I would highly recommend The Raj if you're looking for a nice takeaway”
“The rice container was filled full of broken rice with only a thin layer of whole grain on top to make it seem good quality. Keema naan only had any keema in about 1/3 of the whole thing. Lids not on curry containers correctly so curry spilled out when taking containers out the bag. However, very quick and happy service. Shame about the quality which is usually very good.”
“Called in ivo all the rave reviews of this establishment & found them to ACCURATE! My wife & I called in for an early evening meal midweek Can honestly say that the food was mouthwatering good. Such a large menu to choose from gives room to explore new culinary experiences at a modest cost. Service was excellent. Will be returning soon!”
“From entering we got an amazing greating, the food is by far the best Indian I've had from in Wigan it's super clean and good prices”
“Visited Millon restaurant this evening for the first time. The restaurant is lovely and clean and we were welcomed by staff. The meals were top quality, and I can honestly say the chicken tikka biryani is the best I've ever tasted. We WILL definitely visit this lovely restaurant again. Marie & Peter”
“I went here recently for a work night out.The food was simply outstanding. The staff were warm and friendly and totally organised. We were a large group and everything came out perfectly. Can highly recommend coming here”
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at this remarkable Indian restaurant, where each dish left a lasting impression. The Machli Molee, a Bengali specialty, was simply amazing, showcasing the region's renowned expertise in fish curries. The Lamb Chops offered a unique twist with the addition of mustard, delivering flavors unlike any I've experienced before. The Seyal Shank was equally impressive, exuding top-quality taste and tenderness. The service was exceptional, with Manager Ali Jr. standing out for his attentiveness and knowledge. He effortlessly provided information on each dish and graciously addressed all my inquiries, making the dining experience truly memorable. I couldn't have asked for a better waiter. This restaurant comes highly recommended for its outstanding cuisine and impeccable service. I would love to regularly visit”
“Lovely little outlet serving some delicious Indian food with a touch of home. Simple and concise menu to choose from. Serving in a copper plate making it look authentic. Ordered a plate of chole bhature and a non veg thali. Loved both of it. Chicken tikka and the jamoon was the highlight. Highly recommended”
“First time ordering from Tamarind and it was the nicest Indian meal I have had in ages. Delivered 40 mins earlier than expected. Delicious food with great sized portions. The Keema rice was to die for and the korma was perfect. Thumbs up to the Peshwari naan. Thankyou Tamarind.”
“We went on a Saturday night, it was extremely busy and the restaurant was quite noisy. We waited some time for our main courses but the food was faultless when it did arrive. My partner waited over 10 minutes for a second drink. We will be back but we will probably get takeaway or visit on a less busy evening next time.”
“Got my self a nasi goreng. Absolutely generous portion. Having lived in east Asia sometime back, this is the only place I have come across having close to the real thing by far across Chester-Ellesmere Port. Must try! Would be going for a dine in soon. Lovely restaurant they have.”
“Beautiful food. Thank you to the staff for allowing us to have gorgeous food when they weren’t far off from closing. Recommended by my parents and definitely worth it. Free parking on site, lovely staff, beautiful food. Looks nice from the outside and really lovely on the inside. No other photos apart from our selfie outside”
“We visited last night with a party of 9, we had an amazing time celebrating my dad's birthday, food was really amazing and large portions. the decor was comfy and cosy. The staff were very accommodating with the space they had, but worth noting if visiting with a wheelchair user there is no disabled toilets. The staff were very polite friendly and helpful.”
“Amazing food ! The chicken tikka masala was bang on Cooked. My daughter Abby had some chips and rice as she doesn’t like curry due to sensory reasons. We will 100% be coming back here a really friendly environment thankyou mangrove not to mention how cheap it was !!”
“We decided to visit here tonight for a little treat, first time we have been, it was beautiful, the decor is lovely and the staff are very friendly and attentive, we were seated straight away and had our poppadoms and drinks within 5 minutes, we very much enjoyed our meal, my son especially enjoying the masala sauce as requested without meat, very happily accomidated. The bread was warm and the Currys were hot and delicious, the boys especially loved the little touch of the frozen ice in a glass making the effect of steam all over the table, very joyful. We are definitely going to go again.”
“Authentic and flavoursome Indian food. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Food portions looked small which was deceiving as we couldn't finish the food. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants I have been and we will definitely be back again. Very reasonably priced not extortionate like some Indians you go to.”
“Perfect place to visit when you are in the search of Good indian food. The staff is too friendly and can make dish customised upon request. Checkout this place and experience lip smacking food”
“Beautiful restaurent, locating the entrance was a bit daunting being alone but once I was inside, it felt like a hidden gem. There was an excellent efficient service with hard working young, polite gentlemen. The restaurant had a lot of character and beautifully decorated. The heating made the booth nice and cosy which made a big difference as it was near the enterence. The tables were clean and had very comfortable seats. Lovely range of curries, however there was no drinks menu but staff were well trained enough to let us know the available beverages. It would have been better with some background music as other tables got understandably very festive and loud. Overall we all enjoyed the food and will be back. The biriyani was amazing, one of the best ones I have had in a long while. The curries were all lovely but surprised that the tikka masala was unexpectedly sweet, tasted good still so I was happy.”
“Really good food and staff was so friendly and welcoming.”
