“A lovely unassuming fine dinning experience in a friendly, relaxed (read unstuffy) environment. Took my mother as a birthday treat for the 3 course Tasting Lunch on a Sat. Started with a Kir Champagne, followed by an amazing little appetizer, which only added to the experience. Fresh made bread like we've never tasted before. A nice glass of wine for us both. The menu is seasonal but we had starters of haddock and pork for me, followed by mains of cod loin and chicken (so succulent). Mum had an apple cheese cake and I, the cheese board, followed by a coffee. All were amazing and not too filling. Service was excellent from all staff from beginning to end. Highly recommended”

“Simply excellent in all aspects of our dining experience. We stayed for two nights, eating in the 3 star restaurant on the first night and the 1 star restaurant on our second night. Both were exceptional. They are very clever chefs who ensure the dining experience is perfect. I would absolutely recommend Moor Hall to everyone, it's special.”

“We had a a delightfully delicious lunch today at Juniper. The food was cooked to perfection for both of our meals with lovely flavours. We were so impressed we are looking forward to celebrating our Golden Wedding anniversary later on in the year with our family of foodies, but will obviously visit again before then. Particular favourite of mine was the pork belly which was tender and so tasty. It was nice to meet the talented chef at our table and Rob made our experience very comfortable with the right amount of welcome, service and information. A great introduction to this little gem. “Just home from a lovely Sunday evening out with my partner and daughter (6). We had the meat mezedes (banquet) and as always it was lovely and gives you the opportunity to try over 20 different dishes. It was a great variety and high quality food. Our daughter even tried some of ours which she doesn't do very often. It was a big thumbs up from her! There are a couple of children's meal options and are really good portion sizes. Staff are lovely and kind. They make a real effort every time we've been. They do takeaway (collection only), live music some evenings, and early diners specials on certain days too.”

Stavros was incredibly polite and friendly on the phone, and that same warm attitude continued when we arrived — he greeted us with a smile and guided us to our table with genuine hospitality. “I'm giving Nicks at Turton Goft Club 5 stars despite not actually eating there. We'd booked in but it was the evening that it snowed quiet heavily so only some of us reached it as it's situated on the tops in the open, and as it continued snowing we decided to leave and re- book. However, the menus looked great, see attached photos, and Nick himself greeted us and offered to drive us to the back to the restaurant if we wanted to leave our cars at the end of the lane, however, we declined as not all of us have made it there. Nick was very warm and friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be booking again.”
