Our server was Hubert, he was wonderful. Made us laugh, checked on us regularly and just enhanced the entire experience. All the other staff also were so lovely to interact with. Facilities were clean. Enough space between tables. Would definitely recommend. Everything we ate was delicious, very very well priced. Could not fault a single thing!
We had a wonderful evening at Artezzan. We started with pinot noir wine and a margarita pizza as an appetizer. The pizza was good, but I mentioned to the server that I had expected more basil. Within a minute, a plate of fresh basil was brought to our table! Which we immediately added to the pizza. My lamb shank served with apricots and couscous was impeccable and fell off the bone. My sister loved her greek salad, and also her scallops with pork belly. Our server was very attentive and ensured we were content. At the end of the meal, the staff brought a small box for me as my lamb shank was a very generous portion.
My friends and I ate here last night. The food was delicious, the atmosphere spot on and our waitress a gem! Felt the price was fair, obvs we would always like it cheaper but you definitely get what you pay for here.
Visited with a friend after seeing some fabulous reviews and was not disappointed!!! The lunch menu had lots of options. The food was amazing as were the cocktails. Big thank you to our waitress, Heather who was extremely attentive, professional and friendly. We cannot wait to come back.
A great place for food with a lovely atmosphere. We went here during a weekend stay in Chester and I was blown away by both the friendliness of the staff and the food itself. The Carbonara in the cheese bowl was an amazing meal and you get to watch as it is done in front of you! Very friendly and attentive staff. All round great experience highly recommended.
Great choice and variety of foods on the menu. We ordered a selection of pastas, salads and pizzas. All the dishes we ordered were excellent. The restaurant does get busy in the evenings, a booking is recommended. We were a party of 6 and we did have to wait around 15-20mins at the bar. One member of the party required a wheelchair and the restaurant were very helpful in ensuring wheelcahir accessibility from door to table.
A lovely meal out with friends (6 diners). The food was generally delicious and was on the fine dining side of things. Staff were welcoming and attentive throughout, though without a dedicated person for our table. Slight delays between courses, but as everything seemed to be cooked fresh to order that's to be expected, and it didn't impact on our dining experience. Minor things let it down a little: underside of some of the plates felt a little unclean; the cutlery hadn't been buffed from the dishwasher and the menu itself felt a little cumbersome and like working through a novel - so much information, pages and choice so was a little hard to take it all in. The toilets were upstairs and an interesting setup... Cubicles which seemed ostensibly for females only, but then only a room of urinals for men, with an unfortunately placed hand dryer right behind one of the urinals.
Great experience. Decor within is comfortable and modern, and the staff is polite and welcoming. The food was okay-ish, not the greatest value-for-money but not exorbitant either. It was just decent, or alright. It lacked salt, but obviously you can season it at the table. It had a good selection of items too, which was nice as people may have different tastes and wish for different things. Most people will find their flavours accommodated for here. I'd state overall it was a positive experience but nothing beyond 4-stars.
