“The moment we went into the shop in Sherborne square in Huyton village we were treated well. We were left to browse and not pushed into anything (which I love instead of being followed around) but the young man was really helpful with us and so polite. We chose a 3 piece suite and he helped us with colour, materials and everything. We were told it would be ready in 6 weeks but it came a week early and to say we’re made up with it is an understatement. Everything about the shop, staff couldn’t have made us happier. I would highly recommend this business and appreciate the support from the staff”

Jim’s warm welcome and the reassuring explanation of the whole process convinced us to book our dilapidated 40 year old chesterfield in there and then! “My old rocking chair had seen better days and was almost destined to be thrown out as I didn't know how it could be fixed. Contacted Alex and decided to see what he could do with it. The chair is now so comfortable, even better than it was when new and the wood looks beautiful. Alex didn't get rid of the worn part on the arms that I wanted to keep for the memories but even there it looks beautiful. He matched the pattern on the upholstery so well and everything was carefully finished with great attention to detail. Alex's communications were always prompt and dealing with something I hadn't done before was made very easy by Alex. Happy to recommend.”

“First visited in July to have a look around and see what we needed as first time parents to be. Greeted by Nicky who gave us a checklist and talked us through all the things to consider that we might need etc which was great as we are complete novices!! Back today, again greeted by Nicky who really looked after us. We chose our pram and tested it outside, tested it in the car to make sure it fitted etc which was amazing service! Nicky then helped us to choose a car seat and base which was suitable for our car and also fits on our pram. We got an amazing deal and we are so excited and happy with our choices. We had an amazing shopping experience and would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Nicky was lovely and really helpful and knowledgeable too. “Went to our closest store at Edge Lane Liverpool for a new mattresses. We where met by Kelly who was so welcoming. I explained our needs as I have some health issues,straight away Kelly put me at ease. After finding out which mattress would suit us, Kelly pointed us in the right direction and made our purchase easy after trying out a few. “Great showroom, compact but can view all door and cupboard options and Kate helped us brilliantly with choices and design for our bedroom. Different storage options make very best use of the available space. Fitting went very smoothly and the guys made it look so easy but sure their skill provided all the finishing touches. “Visited shop a couple of times looking for leather sofa and chair. No pressure whilst browsing like the big chains so that was good. Finally sold old couch so contacted Harpers and picked a couch and chair and was told we could probably have it delivered for free within a week. Actually received it within 24 hours of ordering items. You really can't beat that for service. Got a call from shop to say they would be delivering within 30 minutes so I could nip home and let them in. Two polite and respectful lads turned up and took great care whilst delivering as I had mentioned we had a new front door and they were very considerate of this. All packaging was taken away and the whole process from choosing items through to payment and delivery was spot on. would definitely recommend buying from Harpers especially how delivery was free and larger sofa companies will charge you around £100 for this. “Habufa – Jardin Starburst Oak Dining Table plus 6 Armin Dining Chairs, Cognac I don’t normally write reviews however, in this instance, both the Manufacturer and the Retailer are more than worthy of mention. We had previously identified the Habufa range of furniture as being well suited for our needs. The challenge was to find a Retailer selling it at an acceptable price. After doing a lot of research, including viewing examples of the Habufa range in the showrooms of a well-known High Street Store, we came across the Against the Grain (ATG) Website which was selling the Habufa range at an acceptable price. Here, our natural instincts to avoid buying from on-line retailers kicked in. So, what to do? Firstly, we read all their reviews on Google and Trust Pilot which, on the whole, were positive. Secondly, we spoke at length with Marcus at ATG and found his knowledge and advice very helpful which gave us the confidence to go ahead with the order. The lead times were good, pricing was very competitive and we were kept informed throughout the process, leading up to delivery. The furniture came very securely packed and the quality is excellent. Clear instructions were provided for the assembly of the chairs and the table and for increasing the protection of the oak table with additional lacquer. Our thanks to both Marcus and Dan, the Office Manager, for their attention to detail and support. We would certainly buy again from you.”

“Had the best service from Emma, popped in to have a look at desks and chairs, really friendly and knowledgeable. I needed 3 desks in a hurry and they didn't disappoint. They were delivered and put together by 2 of the nicest guys. Very professional, if they haven't got what you are looking for I would be surprised. “Absolutely amazing company!! We went in to look at some beds and they got us everything we wanted mattress and storage included in a deal for an amazing price!! Day of delivery came, they gave us a 2 hour time slot and showed up in that time full of spirit, got the bed where wanted it fitted it quickly and even helped us sort out a sofa as we had just moved house!! “If you want quality furniture at a competitive price and excellent customer service then visit this family business - G T Goodyears Furniture Centre at Mawdesley. We ordered our sofa and chair in February – when the furniture arrived in store we were unable to take delivery – not a problem just let us know when it’s convenient we were told. We were unable to take delivery until just recently! (November) – storage by G T Goodyear was never an issue – we were never pushed to provide them with a delivery date and neither were we asked to pay the outstanding balance. When we eventually took delivery the corner section of the sofa would not fit through our lounge door due to our small hallway! - several attempts at different angles were made but to no avail – don’t worry we will resolve the issue for you they said, we'll work something out - and they did. After a few hours work back at the store disassembling the corner section it was delivered successfully into our lounge and all rebuilt again. No extra charge – we just want satisfied customers we were told – well we are certainly that! Five star service – well done G T Goodyear Furniture”

“Great quality garden set at a great price. Had an issue with a missing box ( fault of courier, not Abreo) but customer services were excellent and easy to contact via email. Easy to build although a rachet Allen key will save you time, it took two of us just over an hour to put the entire set together. Would definitely recommend, looks great on our patio!”

“It's been 10 years since we had our kitchen installed, complete with appliances bought from here. Yesterday, we needed a new oven as the original broke. We struggled to get anything from the usual places, my wife suggested we contact Built In Appliances again. So glad we did, after a short phonecall, we shot to the showroom, super friendly staff, and after picking one that was on display (descent discount), it was in the back of our car within 15 mins! “I was advised to call over to Brosna to have a look at a local firm who made all of the kitchens on site and to order. I was very impressed with the set-up at Brosna and Tony and his team made the process of choosing, buying and delivery of our Kitchen and utility room simple. I was very impressed with the quality of the kitchen units and doors, the quality was not compromised by the price. We were not going to do the utility but because the price was so good we decided to also undertake this room. Another reason to do the utility as well was because Brosna were able to deliver a bespoke kitchen at normal prices, we needed on one wall 380mm deep units to make the space work, we could not get this at the "normal places" but Brosna delivered without fuss. Along with the fitter Mark and the team at Brosna we got the kitchen and utility that we wanted and at a very competitive price. I have already sent friends over who were in the market for a new kitchen and they are also ordering from Brosna. The kitchen we ordered was a 5 piece shaker in Cashmere for main kitchen and utility, with the island in Dakar grey, work tops of artic white quartz which has tiny sparkles in. I have attached a few pictures to show the kitchen and utility in the making plus final but still waiting on the kickboards to go on.”
