“If you could leave one-hundred stars for The Cop Shop, then I would. We've just moved to the area to a property much larger than where we were. So, we're having to buy lots of new furniture. We'd already bought a fair bit of flat-pack furniture, but nearly ended up getting divorced putting some of it together. Luckily, we didn't and my resourceful wife found The Cop Shop and effectively saved our marriage. Everything at The Cop Shop is already assembled or 95% assembled. And... it's not actually much more expensive, if at all. I'll be honest, there wasn't one single item of furniture in The Cop Shop that I wouldn't have bought if I needed it. Everything is so modern and contemporary. And the quality is amazing. This isn't cheapo rubbish with lousy veneers stuck onto MDF. This is solid and well-made furniture that is going to last. Nicola and Tim who work in the shop are genuinely lovely people who'll make you feel at home in the shop and let you look around, have a natter and answer any questions you have about what they sell. My wife and I were more than happy to spend some money there on some lovely furniture that looks gorgeous in our new home. And we will definitely be back there soon to get a few more items. The Cop Shop is a little hidden gem and if you're on the fence about where to buy quality furniture at REALLY reasonable prices, stop thinking about it and get yourself down there. “Visited the Hull store today. A family member wanted a riser/Recliner Chair. The Store, Staff, quality of furniture was exactly as I had seen on the website. We were greeted by Lynne who asked if we would like assistance or view ourselves first. I told her our requirements and she fully explained how to recognise the correct size chair for my relative. Then left us to browse. Once we chose a chair she was so patient and supportive to ensure it was the correct one. It was clear to see she was knowledgeable and very caring. We were left to choose a fabric while enjoying a complimentary hot drink and biscuits. Lynn is a credit to HSL and you certainly delivered the warm professional service as per your website. No hesitation in recommending HSL”

“Me and my wife have visited the mamas and papas store in hull a fair few times over the past 15’months. We originally bought the occaro travel system in 2023 and we cannot fault it. Does everything you need a pushchair to do! The baby loves it, and we can even use it when we walk the dog! The store manager dealt with us named Matt and he was brilliant. Very thorough, informative and funny/friendly considering we were first time parents we had lots of questions he was kind and patient. Since then we have been back to get a new toddler car seat and we also went to see Matt and he explained everything we needed to know about the car seat safety for our 14month old. We have decided on a cybex car seat that we are thrilled with. The store is super friendly, clean and there is a Lovely atmosphere. Brilliant store all round! Thank you”
