“Tonight I visited with my two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels Simba and Loki. I was served by Emma for the evening. I was very surprised by how speedy service was - noticeably faster than your average place, especially for a very bustling Saturday night! I was completely put at ease as someone visiting alone, Emma was super approachable and helpful. There was even a doggy menu - I was delighted! We were sat near the bathrooms but this meant the dogs got all the attention and people were so kind. I ordered the steak, medium rare, and it was cooked exactly as I wished. Everything was delicious and I was very happy to leave a tip. If only we lived more locally!”
“Good menu choices, meal was of good quality and plentiful. The desserts were delicious, with my adult granddaughter saying it was the best chocolate fudge cake she had ever tasted. My raspberry bakewell tart and custard was the best I've ever tasted. At least four cask beers on offer and good lager choice as well. Service was exceptional being both friendly and attentive.”
“Lovely lunch with family, food delicious and Lorenzo is very friendly :) Fantastic Italian tapas”
“Had a late lunch today with my daughter and everything was perfect. The food was delicious, the staff were warm, attentive and efficient and the owner was lovely. We will definitely be back.”
“The Tigers Head now has Landlady Tracy at the helm, and the pub has returned to being what it used be, ie a good local pub that serves good food and is all the better for it. We stayed in our motorhome on the grassed area at the rear of the pub which is free if you eat at the Tigers. Keralan Curry was particularly excellent as was the Chicken Ceasar Salad, and reasonably priced too. It would be nice to see the moho fraternity return here and support this quintessentially English pub, set in the delightful village of Norley. N.B. No need to bring supplies with you, there's a little shop opposite the pub which seems to stock everything!”
“Great little place. Nicely decorated foe Christmas. Food hot and full of flavour.”
“Absolutely amazing food and very friendly staff. The food was very authentic and presented beautifully. Will definitely be there again!”
“Table of 5 for a 70th birthday. Arrived to a lovely welcome and no waiting round, ordered drinks whilst deciding on food. Mixture of starters can highly recommend the Tandoori Lamb chops which were unreal. Mains we had a mixture with rices (onion rice is so good) and Nana's. Kids had the Tandoori Chicken Sizzler. Food was so tasty and hot. The staff were so friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Stopped and took time to have a chat with us. At the end of our meal after we asked for our bill they brought out a cake with a sparkler on for my Mum which was a complete surprise and not expected at all. They sang Happy birthday to her. This really made her night. ,(It's little things like this that really make this place special) The bill was worth every penny for what we ordered and the service we received. Thank you.”
“My dinner is the bestttt love so much, tasty food, quality, pretty good and nice service”
“I love this pub and its views over the Cheshire plain. It’s everything a lovely, family friendly pub should be. The new menu has so many options I wanted to try on my first visit it took me ages to choose. That’s a great start in my book. Elektra the chef and manager is so passionate about what she does. She’s done all of the redecoration and the pub feels much cosier and it was really warm and welcoming. We went for the Quiz on Wednesday night and had dinner beforehand. For those of you who don’t have the time they provide EPIC chip butties in the break at the quiz which disappeared in seconds to help us with our brain power! It clearly worked as we won. It was lots and lots of fun and cheered me and my sister up immensely. Dinner was delicious as you can see from the photos. I’m going back asap with my taller better half to dive into the burger menu and fish options. My sister will be back with her young family as she thinks it a a great place for a family meal as Harry her ten year old loves calamari and you can’t get any in Frodsham. Bella will love the cheese burger or pizza and the adults will have pie.”
“Just had the Value meal, absolutely spot on, hot, tasted & fantastic value for money. Im an HGV driver that travels the country and eats out every night, I can't fault this place. Thanks guys.”
“That has to be one of the best Chinese I've had in a long time! The food was so nice and really good value. Really like the look of the restaurant and the staff and very nice too My first time here but won't be my last”
“Was passing through and saw this was open. I asked for haddock and chips as I wanted to try the fish and chips, the fish was really good, the batter soft and not too oily, the haddock was chunky and one of the best fish I have tasted. The chips were soft, and even after getting home, the fish and chips tasted really nice. The serving couple was very polite and served the food really quickly. It is definitely highly recommended. The price for a large fish and small chips was less than £9.”
“Lovely traditional homemade pub food. The deco is lovely, food is perfect. Good variety of meals to choose from made decisions hard! Short drive from Delamere forest and Helsby Hill, both nice places for walks. Attached carpark. Highly recommend and would visit again.”
“It's a lovely pub, just benefited from a full refurbishment staff are friendly and they have karaoke every Friday, Saturday, night brilliant atmosphere”
