From the moment I stepped across the threshold of Kasturi Indian Restaurant in Southport, I felt it—the simmering promise of something unforgettable. The air itself seemed to tremble with aromatic temptation: cumin, cardamom, and a whisper of smoky tandoor heat swirling like an irresistible lover’s gaze across the room. I had come only for dinner. I left… transformed. The butter chicken arrived first, its surface gleaming like the satin gown of a heroine at her first grand ball. One taste, and I felt a shiver of pure surrender. Rich, velvety, impossibly tender—this was no mere dish. This was a declaration. A promise that love can indeed come in the form of a creamy tomato embrace. Then came the garlic naan, warm and soft, its aroma curling around me like the arms of a brooding hero who refuses to let go. Each tear of bread was a delicate sigh, each bite a stolen moment that left me wanting more. But it was the lamb rogan josh that undid me. Bold. Intense. Unapologetically passionate. The kind of dish that sweeps you off your feet and whispers, “Trust me.” And trust it I did, with every sumptuous mouthful. The staff, attentive yet mysteriously aloof, added to the delightful tension—appearing at my side just when I needed them, retreating into the shadows like loyal confidants in a slow-burn romance. By the time I reached dessert—a golden gulab jamun lounging in syrup like a forbidden tryst—I knew: I had fallen. Completely. Recklessly. Deliciously. If love had a flavour, it would taste exactly like Kasturi Indian Restaurant in Southport.

We recently dined at kasturi and were blown away by the incredible flavours! The dishes are a masterclass in Indian cuisine, with each bite taking you on a journey of flavour and delight. The chef's use of spices and technique is evident in every mouthful - we couldn't get enough! The service was also top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who were happy to guide us through the menu. A truly exceptional dining experience that left us wanting more."

Called in ivo all the rave reviews of this establishment & found them to ACCURATE! My wife & I called in for an early evening meal midweek Can honestly say that the food was mouthwatering good. Such a large menu to choose from gives room to explore new culinary experiences at a modest cost. Service was excellent. Will be returning soon!

Without a shadow of a doubt this is the best Indian restaurant we have dined in anywhere! The food is incredible and the staff are great. We brought my Cousin here who was visiting from Australia and she was blown away with the food.

This place could not disappoint. We were there again on the evening of February 18th. The staff are amazing, the food better than that. This is probably Southport's premier Indian Restaurant. We love it, give it a try.

Double check receipt? Excellent food & service. I've dined in & had deliveries and food always superb. This time I took friends and as always food was nicely presented and tasted delicious. However when asked for the bill it seemed quite high but I paid, thanked them and left not taking receipt. Once home I got menu out and worked out what we'd had and there was over £60 added to bill that I just can't account for. Not blaming them at all as if a mistake was made I'm sure it wasn't on purpose but I'm kicking myself for not taking and double checking the bill. Still it's best curry house around maybe in all of Merseyside and I'd recommend to all curry lovers. But again, double check bill receipt as mistakes happen which may or maynot be the case with me, who knows it could even be the right price but I somehow doubt it but with not having receipt to check I'll never know. it may incur a charge for eating in I don't know but pretty sure it wouldn't be over £60. Anyway, 10/10 for food & service. Excellent.

The food was very nice. This is chicken chat and I can’t get the nice flavour I tasted many years ago anywhere. I’m a little disappointed. Lots of chicken chat really didn’t need a main meal after this. My hubby loved it. We would both go again nice clean restaurant. Staff were very friendly.
