“Joined for friends and family Diwali celebrations, superbly organised by Mr P Radia. Perfect venue, impeccable service and festive atmosphere for amazing celebratory event. Food was delicious, couldn't ask for more. Would definitely use the place for any of family and friends event.”
“First time here for me and Karen, since change of ownership and the food is excellent. The menu is now very different and all the food is full of authentic flavours. Will definitely be returning. You can still take your own alcohol as before but they now have a drinks licence as well and the prices are very reasonable.”
“I ordered Butter Chicken, parathas, chilli bajji, baingan bajji. All the bajji were absolutely delicious. Butter chicken was extremely sweet unlike any butter chicken dish I've tasted elsewhere - disappointing. Paratha were nice. The guy that runs it was really nice also.”
“Great food either eating in or take away.”
“Best friendly staff and excellent customer service food to your taste”
“I stopped by this Indian restaurant on Saturday and had such a great experience. The food was authentic tasting (i’m very Indian) without being overpowering, and everything was fresh. What really stood out, though, was the service. Sauman took care of our table and was genuinely warm, attentive, and helpful with recommendations. It made the whole meal feel even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back!”
“Recently moved to the area and this has now become our local. Excellent food and great service. Once forgot a beer from my order and when I rang them, they sent someone to deliver instantly. All round fantastic”
“Hands down the best curry I’ve ever had and the chicken biryani just wow… the lads really looked after me just before closing on a Friday as well, honestly look no further for great quality food at very reasonable prices”
“We ordered 300 samosas for our wedding. They were absolutely brilliant, checking in with us the day before and delivering for a specific time. We never imagined they would ALL get eaten but our guests absolutely devoured these. So many compliments. Absolutely yummy as always! Thank you!”
“We’re always coming back! The food and service here are outstanding. Everything is fresh and flavourful. A special shoutout to the owner, he brings such great energy! Makes everyone feel right at home and truly goes above and beyond to create a welcoming atmosphere. The entire team is so kind and accommodating. We’ve been here multiple times and it never disappoints. Highly recommend!!”

“This place is amazing . Super hot delicious grills . Lamb chops are my favourite”
“Amazing food everytime, first time having a thali as we previously ordered dosa. Excellent value and even better flavours. It is quite rightly busy during lunch and dinner times, so book if possible. The daal, tamarind soup, paratha and chicken curry was particularly sensational on this occasion. Cannot recommend enough. There are bathrooms through another restaurant, I’m not sure how this can be addressed, but they do need a little tlc.”
“Heard about Indian Sweet Box on social media. Just had to make the trip from Birmingham to try it out. Thankfully they had a bit of indoor seating with room for our pushchair. Every single thing about this place was absolutely fantastic! So glad we made the trip! Have to admit, after learning about their prices, I was a bit sceptical, thinking that the portions would be tiny. So glad I was wrong. I satisfied my pau bhaji craving for £3. 99. Where else can you get such a delicious, filling portion of pau bhaji for that price? Everything was remarkably cheap and delicious. The samosas were probably the best I've ever had. So filling and tasty, not overly greasy. Had the daal kachori and ghobi paratha box which came with dahi and daal. Everything was so delicious, we got a mithai box to take away. Got a pista barfi, carrot barfi, coconut barfi, chocolate barfi, pista roll, and something we just had to try, the snickers barfi, which was so good, better than an actual snickers bar in my opinion! All of this, the mithai box and lunch, for less than £15!! My wife and I both left feeling satisfied and stuffed! I loved how everything was made fresh. It was evident that the samosas and ghobi paratha, were fresh, made in house. It really came across in the unique, beautiful taste. I'm going to say that I feel the mithai is made in house too. I've tasted a lot of mithai and theirs is outstanding, the best! None of it was overly sweet. They were all more fragrant than anything. Most mithai tends to be overpowered with sweetness and all tastes the same. We could actually taste what the barfi were meant to be... coconut tasted of coconut, pista of pista etc. and the snickers barfi was out of this world! It's not often you get such fresh, amazing home cooked food at such prices and also meet genuinely kind people! The lovely man who works there even gave us some hot jalebi that had just been fried, for free, as we were leaving! Would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone and everyone! Shame we don't live closer, or we would be regular customers!”
“I had a Lamb Bhuna slightly hot with Pilau Rice and a Plain Naan. The Bhuna was nice and thick traditional style as it is a semi-condensed curry, the flavour balance was perfect. The Lamb was very tender which is always a sign of a very good chef, the portions were very generous. The rice was nice and fluffy, vibrant colours pleased the eye as well as the mouth. The Naan was a good size and was cooked perfectly, nice and soft in the centre with a lovely crispness on the edges. Well worth a visit”
“A small and cosy little curry house with good food and attentive staff. Usual menu with usual dishes. Well worth a visit if you in the area. It is a bring you own booze gaff but there is a Tesco Express next door!”
“The Initial welcome was very warm and friendly. The atmosphere and interior were impressive . Staff very attentive . The quality of food was authentic with delicious flavours. Would recommend this restaurant.”
“Great local chinese takeaway. Well priced and served hot. Flavourful and cooked fresh Has become a weekly treat ordering from here”
“Food is nice and very reasonably price as well”
“We had an absolutely amazing experience at this venue! The food was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was just perfect, with a warm and inviting vibe that made the whole evening special. The customer service was outstanding from start to finish. A special shoutout to Nirav, who was an exceptional host. He went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of, and his attention to detail really made our visit memorable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food, a fantastic ambiance, and top-notch service!”
“Had the lunch time thali, decent portion size for just over £5. Well worth the the money and very tasty. Loads of filling in the dosa.”
“I tend to be a little boring when ordering an Indian takeaway, Chicken Tikka Masala is my go-to dish. I'd say that it was one of the best, if not 'the best' I've ever had. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes.”
“Here is a review for Mithaas Restaurant in Leicester: "Mithaas is a fantastic spot for authentic Indian vegetarian food! The Masala Dosa is huge, crispy, and incredibly filling, while the Samosa Chaat hits the perfect balance of spicy and tangy. It has a relaxed, canteen-style vibe that makes it great for a casual meal with family. Don't leave without visiting the sweets counter—the fresh Jalebis and Barfi are the perfect way to end the meal!" Would you like me to mention a specific dish you loved (like the Indo-Chinese or Thali) or adjust the length for a specific platform?”
“Amazing food, eat it regularly, tikka masala paneer is top tier and I’d highly recommend. Lambs always tender and the naan’s are pillowy fresh and great every time!”
“Service was amazing, always checking that the food is ok, very clean and tidy. Happy to accommodate wheelchairs too. Will definitely be going again.”
“A Place That Feels Like Home – 6+ Years of Great Experiences I've been visiting Prince Shisha Garden for over 6 years now, and in that time, it’s become one of my favourite places in Loughborough. From day one, the warm and welcoming atmosphere stood out — and over the years, that feeling has only grown stronger. The quality of service is consistently excellent. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always make you feel like a valued guest. It’s not just about the food or the shisha — it’s about the people behind it. I’ve been lucky enough to build real friendships with the owners and the team, and that’s something truly special. The food is always fresh and flavourful, and the shisha is among the best you’ll find — smooth, well-prepared, and with a great selection of flavours. Whether you're visiting for a relaxed evening or a catch-up with friends, the atmosphere is always spot on. Prince isn’t just a restaurant or a shisha lounge — it’s a place where great memories are made. I genuinely can’t recommend it enough to anyone in Loughborough or passing through.”
“Our first visit here last night. Lovely restaurant, delicious food, great service. Mango chicken superb. Poppadoms crispy, not greasy, as were the samosas. Waiters very friendly. Will definitely be back.”
“Ladies, fellas, everyone... get down here and check out the amazing live Indian music, particularly on a Saturday night! Never experienced anything like it before and I've been to a fair few indian pub nights including many visits here. We had some food before in the pub area and then went down to the restaurant side to enjoy some great music and everyone was dancing their socks off!! Good old Leicester huh... Great food, great local! Only downsides are maybe the loos and they never have any "crispy bhajiya" in!! Sort it out!”
“Food was excellent portion size is massive and enough to share. Decent beer selection at the bar and all reasonably priced.”
