Jess and Ellis are an amazing couple, with jess' wealth of knowledge under her belt regarding canine nutrition and Ellis' drive to provide the latest and greatest products to our pooches, Teddys is the place to shop. They stock a great vast range of brands as well as their own (which is amazing). from completes to DIY, supplements, natural treats and more, you will find everything you need. Unsure of what your pooch needs specifically? Jess is at hand to help with all queries and put your mind at ease. They also sell raw food for felines too! I started my raw journey a year ago with Teddys and I haven't looked back. All 4 pooches are on raw and thriving better than ever thanks to the team at Teddys and their constant input. Constant great deals on, as well as the customers loyalty apparently just added bonuses, even without the perks I'd still be shopping here lol, but who doesn't like a little perk? Always makes a purchase that bit more enjoyable. Can't wait for the opening of the new shop premises too! Awesome place. Awesome people. Get down there for the good stuff.”

“Absolutely delightful, & very popular, vintage cafe serving hot drinks, 'light bites' & home made cakes & scones in friendly & truly authentic surroundings. Listen to 'Our Gracie' on the radio, read the latest from the front in the 'morning papers' & browse the original ornaments & niknaks on display. If travelling far, I would recommend reserving a table as it soon fills up. On road parking can be a problem as it's a residential area, so you may have to walk a little way, but it's worth it! Why not call in to Kibworth DIY over the road too, if visiting, thèy have a fantastic range of original DIY material including Primus & Tilley accessories!”

“Walking passed the area doesn’t seem eye-catching like other typical restaurants, what caught me and my partners eye was the plantains poster on the outside of the odeon market. It’s typically I would say your hidden gem food places to eat. From stumbling upon that sign we both had a feeling this might be something good. Yes, the restaurant appearances doesn’t have that feel like other typical high street restaurants or food chain restaurants have. But what it does have is comfort, friendliness, great food not only fresh food. The menu does have English food that’s catered to their current lovely customers, but amongst it they have their great Latin cuisine and beverage that they make in house. The price isn’t that expensive we paid for everything around £21 including a cappuccino and everything you seen in the photos. I have to say it’s a bargain for great food. Must try the Chicha Morada drink honestly light and refreshing, definitely will be seeing me back here for that drink. Freddie who was there was so friendly and great to talk to not only very knowledgeable about the history of the cuisine as he’s from there but it brings nostalgia to the whole place. He’s honestly a really great person who checks in on all his customers, who wouldn’t want to come here.”

“If you love coffee you have to try Leicester coffee house! They roast their own beans and use good milk and you can really tell it's good quality coffee. The baked goods are also lovely, my daughter loved the vegan choc cake and I love the carrot cake. We moved to Leic from London which had some great coffees and searched for ages for a decent coffee shop here and this has to be the best we've had! I just wish we lived closer so we could get it more often :D”

“What a turnaround! After the absolute fiasco at the Quorn Hotel (our original anniversary plan – let’s just say we won’t be rushing back), we decided to try this place instead. And wow, what a glow-up for our evening! Yes, there were a couple of little hiccups with the food at first – but the staff fixed everything so quickly and so cheerfully that we almost wished something else would go wrong, just to see them in action again. Customer service here deserves a standing ovation! The music was a tad on the loud side, but we powered through like two seasoned party veterans. The chicken curry was tasty – even if the chicken clearly came from a very proud thigh and not a breast – and those sweetcorn fritters? Honestly, they could have been the star of the night. Crispy, golden little bites of happiness! All in all, this restaurant turned a shaky start into a great anniversary evening. Not bad for Plan B – might even be Plan A next time. In summary a nice but lively place with decent food and drinks well worth a visit, we look forward to going here again.”

“I came here with my girlfriend and we were blown away by how good the food was! Everything was packed with flavor - the lobster, prawns, mussels, and sides were all cooked perfectly and tasted incredibly fresh. The sauce was rich, buttery, and full of spices - honestly one of the best seafood boils we've ever had! The restaurant itself has a great vibe, really nicely decorated, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. With the drink discount, we paid around £60, which was amazing value for the quality and portion size. If you love seafood, this place is a must-try. We'll definitely be coming back for more!”

“Incredible menu, the smokey BLT burger I tried was delicious but they all look great, and good Vege/vegan options also. Fantastic value too, could pay triple for that in a posh burger place. I think they do delivery too. Supporting great local independent business isn't always this easy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“We came here after a huge mess around at another restaurant close by. The staff were so much more welcoming and quickly booked us in for a table which was due to be 20 minutes after arriving. We asked if we could come back and they agreed. We came back in time for our table and they sat us down. The service was very good. The staff were all attentive and smiley! The service was very fast considering how packed they were! The food was absolutely brilliant and we were all very happy with what we got! The portion sizes are very good also! Definitely give Zizi a try! The only downside is it can be abit noisy but the food and service most definitely outweighs this!”

“Have nothing but respect for this place I've been coming here since I was little when it was Boot Aquatics I'm 43 now wouldn't go anywhere else, the staff are great and very knowledgeable. I bought alot of stuff from them recently and any hiccups that occurred I went in and spoke to them directly and was met with nothing but kindness yes I had to buy some extra bits but it helped and sorted the problem. My new tank is thriving and never looked better 10/10 for service 10/10 for knowledge alm the fish are well kept and always have the stock when needed.”

“So ordered a steak baguette with chips and a 12 inch Mexican pizza. Took about 10 mins , the baguette was that good I nailed it so unfortunately no picture. The chips were hot and I got hot sauce on . The pizza was good but tasted like it was a shop pizza , think its the base that let it down. Total cost 14 quid”

“I ordered Butter Chicken, parathas, chilli bajji, baingan bajji. All the bajji were absolutely delicious. Butter chicken was extremely sweet unlike any butter chicken dish I've tasted elsewhere - disappointing. Paratha were nice. The guy that runs it was really nice also.”

“I must say this place is awesome if you fancy some paan. I usually stick with sweet paan but they do have options of several flavours. The leaves are fresh along with the ingredients. I have tried paan from other locals but you can't beat this place. It's clean and the service is outstanding. The chap behind the counter is friendly and has a great smile.”
