From the moment we walked in, we were warmly by the gentleman don't remember his name. He was not only friendly and very attentive throughout the service. The food was incredibly tasty. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavours. Especially chicken pie was a culinary delight. The menu offered a great variety for everyone. Beyond the food , service was brilliant too. Overall they have exceeded our expectations. “Dinner with some old friends after a recommendation from a local and it was a great evening all round. Extensive menu and very reasonably priced we all had 2 courses for sub £30. Good portion sizes and very tasty. Service was good.”

“What an amazing and friendly place. Called in tonight (quite late) on the off-chance and although the kitchen was about to close, they agreed to serve us and the food (lamb shank) was amazing with the best mashed potato I think I have ever had - the manager / chef was so polite, friendly and accommodating. I cannot recommend highly enough. My better half had the fish and chips and even though she is a (very) fussy eater, she cleared her plate and absolutely loved her food too. I can't sing their praises highly enough.”

“We come to Market Harborough mainly for Dim Sum Master. The food is so good it makes you do a happy dance while you eat it. We usually get Xiao Long Bao (amazing), the Chicken Fried Rice with Shrimp Paste (scrummy) and last time we tried the Beef Shank Noodles which was so tasty. The owners are also lovely too.”

“No faults whatsoever, I honestly loved everything about this restaurant. The service was impeccable, it was our first time tasting Ethiopian food and we didn't know what to expect but the lovely lady working there helped us with the food menu and described the dishes very well. The flavours and presentation of the dishes was delicious and filling. We ordered a coffee ceremony as it looked very interesting on the menu and it did not disappoint. We learnt a lot about Ethiopian culture from it. The coffee beans used were strong in flavour and it was accompanied with popcorn! My 5 year old daughter is hard to please and she wasn't keen on the main that we had ordered (perhaps spices were strong for her but we enjoyed it) so we ordered a scrambled egg and tomato with bread and it came out, such a big portion but it was so good. She loved it! Thank you so much for an amazing meal and experience- we will definitely be coming back again!!”

“Walking passed the area doesn’t seem eye-catching like other typical restaurants, what caught me and my partners eye was the plantains poster on the outside of the odeon market. It’s typically I would say your hidden gem food places to eat. From stumbling upon that sign we both had a feeling this might be something good. Yes, the restaurant appearances doesn’t have that feel like other typical high street restaurants or food chain restaurants have. But what it does have is comfort, friendliness, great food not only fresh food. The menu does have English food that’s catered to their current lovely customers, but amongst it they have their great Latin cuisine and beverage that they make in house. The price isn’t that expensive we paid for everything around £21 including a cappuccino and everything you seen in the photos. I have to say it’s a bargain for great food. Must try the Chicha Morada drink honestly light and refreshing, definitely will be seeing me back here for that drink. Freddie who was there was so friendly and great to talk to not only very knowledgeable about the history of the cuisine as he’s from there but it brings nostalgia to the whole place. He’s honestly a really great person who checks in on all his customers, who wouldn’t want to come here.”

“My first visit with friends last night and i wasn’t disappointed. The staff were all lovely and helpful, with great banter with them which helped create a lovely atmosphere. The food was fantastic, I had the beef wellington starter and crab and prawn risotto, followed by the salted sponge and I can’t recommend enough. Good wine menu and the promesa Rioja reserva was superb. One of our group had the filet steak which I was lucky enough to try and it simply melted in the mouth ( will have this I think next time I come). Heard about the legendary Sunday dinners so will be back to try this as well.”

“My friend recommended here for a Full English breakfast as I've been living abroad for many years. We visited quite late so the breakfast had technically ended and they had ran out of bacon but the lovely lady said she would pop to the shop to get some just so she could make the full breakfast and it was definitely worth it. Amazing food and service.”

I have gone to a lot of places in the UK of which there is always something wrong. However, this place has it all. Food first rate, service fast and polite, super ambience. “First visit tonight,been recommended by a couple of friends, so thought we would give it a try. We were not disappointed... We chose the 5 course blind taster menu. Given the choice of main...pork,chicken or vegan. Wow!!!!! Each course was superb. The service was excellent, attentive staff. Each course flowed nicely, and the table next to us had the wine pairing, which they said was great. A good wine and beer selection. Very impressed and highly recommended. A good idea to book a table as Friday and Saturday are very busy. Pleasantly surprised when the bill came,absolute bargain for the quality of food and service.”

“Classic Italian with a good range of pasta and seafood dishes. Although busy service was excellent; friendly but unobtrusive. Food is all cooked fresh but the wait was relatively short given the quality of what they are producing. I’d book ahead as it was pretty full when we there.”

“Great service! We didn’t know that they were only open for lunch 12-2:00pm but they were kind enough to seat us despite arriving 20mins after closing. The staff were friendly, hospitable and very welcoming. The food was delicious and authentic tasting and I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!”
