My wife and I came here for coffee and breakfast whilst waiting on some car repairs close by. Lovely, welcoming place. Great coffee and the breakfast was very tasty with food quality ingredients. The owner / server was very polite and attentive too. Thank you
We recently had the pleasure of dining at Brownes cafe at Allandale road recently with my work colleagues and I must say, it was an impeccable experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly by the gentleman don't remember his name. He was not only friendly and very attentive throughout the service. The food was incredibly tasty. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavours. Especially chicken pie was a culinary delight. The menu offered a great variety for everyone. Beyond the food , service was brilliant too. Overall they have exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for a place that delivers both outstanding food and top notch service this is the place to visit for sure. We will certainly be returning soon! Thank you Brownes..
The interior is simply not beautiful for a café. And compared to other cafés and coffee shops on the same street, this place can’t compete. But the service is fabulous, top-tier hospitality. Coffee is decent. I wish they could improve the decoration to match the service.
We enjoyed a pleasant breakfast here on a rainy Tuesday morning. The hot choc with cream + flake was delicious, without cream would just taste ordinary. The eggs florentine was of a good standard, the spinach was fresh and the hollandaise sauce was yummy! The vegetarian breakfast was good too, would prefer there to be two hash browns instead of one, and the chopped tomato sauce could do with more flavour. Overall, a very good experience, the food came fresh and hot and customer service was great!
Amazing hospitality and quick service. Friendly and attentive staff. Lovely atmosphere Delicious food. Lots of options including for vegetarian. Would highly recommend and visit again.
The chicken and lamb is halal. The service was great. You get way more better portion size than Cue and the food comes out hot and it is tasty! I was stuffed! I had a tuna and cheese panini and it comes with chips, salad and coleslaw. I think it was around £6.50. My other half had 3 omelette with chicken and salad and chips and our guest had eggs florentine and we got a tea pot for two . It came to £27. Cheaper than Cue and nearby cafes. The customer service was brilliant and I will be going back again with friends and family! Thank you browns for giving me another place to visit in Leicester for breakfast and lunch!
