2 large Saag & 8 Maki Di Roti - Saag on point full of flavour, I would of liked some makhan on it, was busy for a Saturday & abit of wait for food.
Good Quality food at a great price. The main thing is quality is sustained all the time. Off street parking can be free in the evening. Get busy so order in advance for takeaway works to save time.
Ordered 3 aloo parathas and all three had no salt whatsoever so means no taste. Bland potato mixture no spice, no salt. Catering for children not for adults. A couple of weeks back, was actually tasty. Didn't know in after a few weeks it would be this bland. Going downhill after everyone saying it's so tasty. Not satisfied with this dish or place. Phoned the shop and he didn't have an answer for it, obviously because he knows himself they don't add salt, they just make it how they want to make it. No point in being opened if you are going to cater for children, might aswell just do a delivery service and only make the food for people who have children!! Live around the corner and not one decent vegetarian curry place.
Missed this place. Went back after 3 years and I have to say they are consistent with the quality of their food.
Best place for panjabi food in Leicester. All authentic and tasty and great price. Been going here since I was a child and nothing has changed.
Brill tasting food...even better as mild and can taste the spices...service is excellent as ever. Could do with the place having a refurb as dated...hence the 4 stars...Will not stop me going
I absolutely enjoy samosas with chutney and Indian sweets from the shop. From my experience, I'm aware that best idea is to order in advance else you might have to wait for quite some time. Wouldn't recommend having meal in the shop as its quite small.
One of my best old time favourite place in Leicester for Pure Desi Punjabi Flavour and taste. Their Punjab Pakora’s and Samosas are completely made fresh on orders. Their dishes again top class. It’s best to eat in store but because of COVID-19 only Takeaways. I have been trying this place from last 15 years now. No complaints. Update April 2022: I have been to Shere Punja once again after about 2 and half year to eat in. I tried Aloo Chole and Saag with Makke Di Roti.. no changes to taste. They give food in foil containers so if anything left over you can easily pack with lid on top and do take away.
