Visited rahat restaurant first time got dhar chawal for take out it was abseloutely delicious tasty succulent but down fall there was more soup than meat in the box there should have been more meat honest opinion rating 7 out of 10
Food is nice and very reasonably price as well
We haven't tried the food but i just wanted to say the service was terrible, we asked for the price and they weren't even bothered, on the photos there have put the price. Please improve the service and add the price on the menu, Thank you
The kebab roll was burnt customer service was poor health & safety poor Self service salad tray was ope not covered. Pls do not buy your food at rahat. It's not a restaurant- more like a cafe l.
First time visited this place. Simple menu for quick good food. I tried 3 dishes, rice, nan and chapati. Good tasting dishes although I bit on the hot side for my palate. A little pricey for a small takeaway eat in place.
You go here for the excellent food, not the decor. You can eat your fill for £10. Try the dry lamb dish, palak chicken, and chicken / lamb kebabs, all with tandoori roti or nan. Counter service
Very good curry just a bit oily but very tasty,i always go their for currys specially lamb 56!one of the best places in leicester for currys,if you know you know! Definitely recommend this place to every curry lovers!
True flavours from India. The set up of this restaurant is very basic but the taste of food is truly from India authentic
Do not be put off by the interior decor, the food was really good!!! Wipes the floor with some of the 'extravagant' overly hyped restaurants. Friendly staff and definitely an authentic home cooked meal that went down a treat alhamdulillah. Thank you uncle, we will be sure to visit again next time we travel to Leicester. If you want authentic food this is your place, i was recommended this place from a friend while i was visiting leicester. The owner was very friendly and food was very authentic and traditional and the tandoori roti is by far the best i have ever had light and crispy and just perfect. Il be going back for sure and not to forget the prices were decent too. Definitly worth going there. Thanks again
