“Absolutely delightful, & very popular, vintage cafe serving hot drinks, 'light bites' & home made cakes & scones in friendly & truly authentic surroundings. Listen to 'Our Gracie' on the radio, read the latest from the front in the 'morning papers' & browse the original ornaments & niknaks on display. If travelling far, I would recommend reserving a table as it soon fills up. On road parking can be a problem as it's a residential area, so you may have to walk a little way, but it's worth it! Why not call in to Kibworth DIY over the road too, if visiting, thèy have a fantastic range of original DIY material including Primus & Tilley accessories!”

“What a fab find! A great cafe with a lovely sunny courtyard out the back. Some delicious cakes (including gluten free) and a flavoursome coffee. The breakfast menu looked good (as did the sandwiches) but not time to stop for that today. Attentive and efficient staff - we will definitely be back :-)”

“My friend recommended here for a Full English breakfast as I've been living abroad for many years. We visited quite late so the breakfast had technically ended and they had ran out of bacon but the lovely lady said she would pop to the shop to get some just so she could make the full breakfast and it was definitely worth it. Amazing food and service.”

“If you love coffee you have to try Leicester coffee house! They roast their own beans and use good milk and you can really tell it's good quality coffee. The baked goods are also lovely, my daughter loved the vegan choc cake and I love the carrot cake. We moved to Leic from London which had some great coffees and searched for ages for a decent coffee shop here and this has to be the best we've had! I just wish we lived closer so we could get it more often :D”

“We enjoyed a lovely breakfast today at Malt Mill Coffee and Bakery. The coffee was perfect strength and temperature with extra special touches of grated chocolate on the top. The breakfast burger was 10/10 with a delicious homemade burger patty and perfectly cooked eggs. I myself felt like something a little lighter and I was very impressed by the homemade marmalade on sour dough. We enjoyed the warm homely environment with plenty of beautiful antique posters and mood music. A beautiful was for some Aussie travellers to start their day. Thankyou so much . Clearly a thought out restaurant it has an ethos and relaxed nature and the experience is nailed every time, I’m content, sated and can’t wait to come back again. Coffee is superb as well, pork belly bites in particular are worth getting. We often do not book as there is a lot of space but Saturdays for 4 or more could be busier. For breakfast brunch lunch or dinner, this is the place.”

“An impromptu team meeting, meant the team at Blend had to put up with a descent of software-devs, covering a table with post-its, while needing a constant supply of fresh coffee. The whole staff were warm, friendly and happy to oblige our rag tag bunch. So happy and can't wait to go again.”

“I have now been to Joy Coffee Bar a couple of times. A very cosy cafe, shame it is not on the main strip, but that might be part of its appeal. Very polite couple of people serving. Great customer service skills and both should be commended on a good job. It's not hard to be friendly, but I've have been to many places where people don't take the time or effort to speak with customers. I will definitely be back.”

“As a fellow barista and head barista, this is my favourite coffee shop up and down the country. The staff are wonderful, helpful, friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable of their products. They work hard and make every visit an absolute delight at such an inclusive establishment. Coffees are always the highest of quality beans from the most prolific roasters around today. And with multiple options on both espresso and filter, always regularly changing, there’s always something new and insane to try with each visit I’m able to. Retail shelf always selling beans from fantastic roasters, along with equipment and tools for brewing at home, as well as many other cups, travel mugs, and different beverages too from the fridge. Co-working space is exactly what it says it is; a space to work, with which other people are able to work too. There is a minimum spend for it which is to be expected, or an all day charge which would work out cheaper for longer visits. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough, will continue regularly frequenting this incredible coffee shop and their drinking the insane coffees they produce.”

“Everything exceeded our expectations. Creatively and assiduously thought out dishes, executed to a flavourful and punchy delivery. The kimchi, tuna and Red Leicester / mozzarella sourdough toastie was flavour combination my tastebuds were delighted to experience! The salad maple and mustard dressing was delicious too. All ingredients are fresh, grown on site or sourced locally from the market and local suppliers like butchers and bakers, and their quality is reflected in their superb taste. I can’t recommend this place enough; it’s clear that there’s a passion for and curiosity about food as there is mastery for culinary execution . Very generous portion sizes. Excellent service.”
