    Farthing Brothers Coffee House

    ★★★★★ 4.9
    Open

“Since moving to Newport Pagnell in August Farthing Brothers has become the go to spot for me and my partners coffee. Not only is the coffee top tier but Joel and Sam are always happy to see you and serve you with a smile. Grabbing a coffee always turns into a conversation which in my opinion is an ideal way to start any day.”

“Such a great stay. We were greeted by a lovely and sweet woman who explained about the building and guided us to our room. It was clean, the bed was nice, the room was big and the bathroom was good. We had the room with the balcony. Plenty parking space available and a nice little city with a pub. Nice location, just overall very nice. And breakfast in the room. Definitely a recommendation!”

“Searched on maps for a pit stop on my long drive home. I'm not surprised this came up with great scores. Lovely little coffee shop, food selection isn't huge but very tasty. Both ladies were welcoming & polite & I was served promptly. I even ordered a to go iced coffee for the rest of my journey, as the one I'd had in there was so nice. Couldn't fault them”

    Cafe 1850 Northampton

    ★★★★★ 4.8
    Open

“An afternoon where I am left feeling very proud of my ex colleagues. I visited Rich Beeby and Roxanne James to explore their new venture on Barrack Road. Cafe 1850 unsurprisingly oozes energy, ambition and wonderful customer service as this was at the core of their approach in our days working alongside each other at Royal and Derngate and Northampton Filmhouse. This lovely cafe was created virtually from scratch. Spotless and modern with a lovely vibe. It is a lovely little setting next to the Cathedral and is only 15 minutes walk from the town centre with good parking. I love a good homemade soup and the tomato soup with cheese toasties worked a treat. Still had room for a Lemon drizzle cake that was moist in texture and saturated with flavour. There are some great ideas being floated for special evening promotions. Well done Rich & Roxanne. I am proud of you. *****Update****** Visit 31/5/25 Afternoon Tea for my partner and I. Exceptional food and service.”

    MacIntyre Stony Stratford Coffee Shop

    ★★★★★ 4.8
    Open

“What a wonderful cafe. We randomly popped in for a late lunch and were warmly welcomed. The staff are fantastic, and genuinely lovely people. Our son’s nut allergy was accommodated without question and with reassurance, and the food was fantastic. The Christmas baguettes were out of this world, and our mocha and cappuccino were excellent. In summary: lovely atmosphere, staff, excellent food and very reasonable price. Our new go to cafe when in Stony Stratford. Many thanks.”

“Honestly just my favourite coffee spot. Staff are always incredibly friendly and welcoming. I come every Saturday morning to read my book and it’s always a nice chilled vibe, the coffee is the best I’ve had. My only complaint is there isn’t more YB shops because nothing else competes”

    The Way Coffee House

    ★★★★★ 4.8
    Open

“What a lovely cafe in a central location in Dunstable. I came in for a coffee with a friend at lunchtime - the cafe was busy but there were a few free tables. We ordered a flat white (for me) and an Americano. The drinks were brought over to our table. My flat white was one of the best I ever had - not too milky, could taste the coffee! The staff are lovely, and very efficient and friendly despite being quite busy. And it's reasonably priced. Will definitely come back!”

Jester's Bistro & Coffee Lounge Raunds

    ★★★★☆ 4.7

“Love this place! The food is amazing: freshly prepared and cooked, awesome quality ingredients-doubt you'd find a better quality fry up anywhere else locally, epic portion sizes too! The decor is truly unique. From Only Fools and Horses quotes and pictures to old hats, guitars and vinyls up on the walls. You'll struggle to not spot something new each time you visit. The staff are always friendly and helpful. All in all, my favourite way to start the weekend is a Jester's breakfast!”
