“Been to this cafe three times now every time it's wonderful experience that owner is very friendly helpful. I am in a wheelchair and I can get in easily and there is plenty of space outside. The food is tasty good prices too. Cake is excellent would definitely recommend a visit. The cake pops are DELISH!”

In addition, the opportunity of sampling tap beers, which can be tried individually, or in smaller quantities, served as "flights", whereby you can make your choice of 4 beers from a selection of the six. “The best coffee in Reading! I’ve been coming here for years now and can honestly say it’s my favourite coffee shop. The bagels are incredible and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. Also dog friendly which is quite rare in Reading centre.”

Down a little lane that looks like you’re going nowhere then turn left and boom…the beautiful, unspoilt Taplow lake. Not only stunning views from the car park but also from every angle in the outdoor decked cafe. Coffees are wonderful and a really good size, cakes are delicious and the brunch is super. Fresh ingredients, well put together. The service on all three visits has been exceptional. Attentive, friendly staff who are knowledgeable about the menu. It has a great Scandinavian feel sitting on the deck, with nice food, looking over a lake surrounded by trees watching the wildlife and kayakers and paddle boarders. What’s not to like?!”

“After looking on maps here for a matcha latte and not finding anywhere worth the visit, I fortunately stumbled across this place and as it turns out, they do a matcha latte! Tastes very nice too. Staff were lovely, I came in and asked if they had any croissants, they had none but some were baking. When they were ready, the staff came over to me but I was on the phone so she signalled if I want one, I gave a thumbs up and she came back with a fresh warm croissant and the contactless payment which in my opinion was great customer service. I’ll be returning here, that’s for sure.”
