“Excellent Quality Food and Outstanding Service I had a truly wonderful experience and can confidently say that both the food quality and service were exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the staff, who were polite, attentive, and genuinely eager to make the experience enjoyable. “Absolutely wonderful find tucked away near Maidenhead but definitely worth a visit; if you are looking for a standard curry house, there are other good places; if you want a gastronomic experience not to be forgotten, visit this place. The ambiance lovely, the Michelin style presentation was stunning and each and every dish was delicious; coming from someone with Indian parents with very high food standards, we really loved visiting and look forward to going back with friends!”

“Good cinema with reclining chairs. The price higher than the competitors but the seat comfort might satisfy you. They got cheaper tickets prices Monday. Also with some promotions like if you have "meerkat cinema 2 for 1". They got insider cinema card where you can by tickets with offer and got some money back in the wallet put towards a another tickets. Also if yoy got company perks available you can save on those ticket prices too. If you love to go cinema just try it. Locate your nearest one. Enjoy your big screen entertainment!”

“Visited for the first time last weekend, and absolutely loved the food and the vibe! The part-time waitress we had was amazing and a lovely lady that definitely looked after us! Please note that service can take a while, we stayed over 2 hours for a main and a dessert!”

“Blandy’s is a hidden gem. It’s located in a luxury retirement home in the most beautiful building and grounds. The staff are all very welcoming and attentive. I was hosting a private dining event and it was very easy to book, and Ionut and his team were fantastic in ensuring that everything ran smoothly and was how I wanted it. I was able to make requests and there was no pressure to leave the venue by a certain time. Everyone commented on how classy and peaceful the venue was. The food was lovely too, so all in all it was perfect and just how I wanted it.”

“Gilbey's is a lovely hotel situated above a small restaurant in the heart of Eton just a 20 minute walk from Windsor Castle. We stayed in a beautifully decorated room with an equally lovely ensuite shower room and the most comfortable bed I've slept in. The staff at Gilbey's were very polite, friendly and helpful throughout. We opted for a full English breakfast which is an additional cost and served in the restaurant and it was worth every penny. The food was of an excellent quality and tasted amazing. We would most definitely stay here again.”

“We enjoyed eating at the Reading Room last night. The whole experience was amazing. It wasn’t our first time there, so I’m happy the standard is consistently high. The food was delicious and looked beautiful. The staff were very professional and although they were always nearby, it didn’t feel awkward. The dinner finished with a really sweet, personal touch - couple of chocolates on a plate with a sign „happy anniversary”. I highly recommend the restaurant.”

“This was our second time here and it was just as good as the first time if not better. Our waitress for the night (Lara) was brilliant and made our experience perfect. It’s nice to see someone so young take so much pride and have so much awareness in what she’s doing. “Really good food. Calamari was nice and crispy rather than rubbery or slimy and came with plenty of sauce. Burger and chips were faultless - caramelised onions always take it to another level for me. The meringue dessert was also just right. Would have liked a few more non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks options but not a deal-breaker by far. Came to £37 which included 2 drinks, starter, main and dessert.”

“We had a function in the pub and it was a great experience. We had a dedicated function room separated from the main pub. The atmosphere both in the pub and in the function room are really lovely and the fireplaces give just the perfect place for a cosy dinner. Food was truly amazing. Great portions and quality food from the appetisers throughout the meal. Tagliatelle were cooked to perfection and the sea bass with the lemon sauce was mouthwatering. All through the meal, the sauces were just amazing. All the staff was really friendly and we had a great night out.”

“One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in for some time. The kindness and helpfulness of the staff is one of the outstanding qualities of his hotel. The breakfast is on par with most Michelin star restaurants. We stayed in a suite in the House Building. Quality of the furnishings, the style and the cleanliness were exceptional. . Everything was chic but luxurious . I am now looking for reasons to return to Reading so I can stay here again .”

“Had to write a review after my second order because honestly, their pizza is bloody amazing. First tried it takeaway, then ordered on Deliveroo, and both times it was phenomenal. Like, seriously, the best pizza I've ever had, hands down. My absolute fave is the Hell's Kitchen pizza. It's got a kick, but nothing that'll make you cry (unless you're that way inclined, of course!). Honestly, can't recommend Thirsty Bear enough. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”
