“I came for the bottomless brunch. Harri the bartender was great and made sure we always had cocktails ready to drink, there was a lovely lady called Lisa serving us. Honestly service here has always been great. I prefer the general menu to the bottomless brunch menu but that doesn’t take away from the experience at all!”

“A hidden gem of Brighton. Very first time here and didn't disappoint for choosing this place. Love craft beer and they are the best one for serving craft. Such nice selection of beers from IPA, stout, Sour, neipa etc. Good choice for cask and keg. I like the atmosphere. Not very big place but have plenty of seats. Bar guy was cool. There were board games and such nice green house plants.”

“Wonderful staff and the usual patronage / regulars are all incredibly welcoming and full of humor. Not one macro brewery to be found. All local-ish microbrews from really incredible breweries. When I return to England, even if I'm staying far from Kemptown I'm definitely popping by Hand In Hand again. Amazing!!!”

“We chose Oeuf for brunch based on its great reputation, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The cafe has a beautiful, inviting atmosphere and the decorations are a nice touch. The staff were all so welcoming and attentive, and the brunch itself was absolutely delicious. The green smoothie was a definite highlight. If you want a more relaxed experience, I'd suggest booking your visit for after 1:30 PM to avoid the busiest rush.”

“My mother and I visited this place on the 09.10.25 during lunch time hours. We were greeted with a beautiful smile form a young lady that was very happy passionate and welcoming. She designated a very nice table with a good view by the window overlooking the best view. All other staff were very kind and attentive including the restaurant owner . The atmosphere was nice with great menu selection and very good music playing in the background. The young lady was efficient and always took care of my mother's needs and even spoke in my mother's mother tongue spanish. The food was great, always well presented and very delicious. We had alot of fish dishes and they were tasty and well cooked . Overall it was a very pleasant experience lovely restaurant very clean on a beautiful sunny day. Upon existing the restaurant we were very impressed with the kindness and professionalism of everyone working that day.Also the lady owner was actually near the entrance she very nicely spoke to us briefly with a smile and said our goodbyes. “Hands down the best Bulgarian meal I’ve had outside of Bulgaria. Went to Donchevi Kitchen & Bar today with my other half for lunch. As I’m from Bulgaria, I always wanted to share my cuisine but previous attempt have not been successful due to lack of quality original Bulgarian ingredients or chef abilities. This restaurant on the other hand tasted like home. We had kufteta, shopska salad, mousakka, parlenka and chips with Bulgarian cheese. Everything was not only authentic but also delicious. I loved it so much I had to ask for takeaway bag to take some home. I definitely recommend the restaurant to both Bulgarians and to everyone keen to try something different which they will enjoy. My partner is a bit picky with their food as they are British and tend to go with Italian food or British but they loved it too.”

The service is relaxed and attentive, the vibe is more buzzy and the menu seems to have a little wider choice. Great to have a first rate restaurant back in our village.”

“Had lunch with my young family and had the Sunday burgers. There was good selection of burgers too cater for the stuff tastes and on Sunday they have a £10 offer. The cabin fries are also a must try. Would happily go again and enjoy their beer garden”

“I always loved to have lunch here, especially the seafood options. This time, I stopped on a busy afternoon in the middle of the holiday rush. They were kind and happily offered me a table. The combo of Barbeque prawns and Caesar salad was a tasty choice for a quick lunch!”

“What a hidden gem that you now need to visit! The most beautiful tapas restaurant in Hove, designed so stylishly and serving pretty amazing tapas with a twist on your more traditional dishes! A huge selection of wines, local Spanish beers and great sangria, and really friendly waiting staff, too. Spent a really enjoyable couple of hours here and cannot wait to return again soon :)”
