βFantastic spot. Joe had a great perm and knew that he liked my pizza cold (the pizza is unreal)! Very vibey spot with a good seating outdoors and lots of games indoors. Highly recommend for either the accommodation upstairs, or if you just want a game of darts and a Smirnoff peach and lemonade.β
βTHIS PLACE REALLY DESERVES 10 STARS. Before you enter, youβll notice the place is beautifully decorated, colorful, and welcomingβand it truly is like that. Before we were seated, we had to wait about 3β5 minutes, but it was no problem at all. The staff here are very dedicated; they donβt try to upsell or do aggressive marketingβthey just want customers to have the best food experience possible. My friend is gluten-free, and they took great care of this, asking about allergies, which is why the food preparation took quite a while. My friend needed a lot of advice, but the staff patiently explained everything, and we had a really great experience at this place. I ordered the Salmon & Horseradish and Bread, which was quite fitting for the slightly chilly weather. My friend ordered a Taco, which was very large, so it took us quite a while to finish eating. Also, the restrooms are very spacious and clean. We will definitely come back.β
βHave passed by here for years and not found time to stop. Made time today and had an amazing birthday meal. Curry goat was amazing, my wife's pork chop was enormous, tender and beautifully cooked. My son's steak gorgeous and apparently the cheeseburger was the best my daughter has ever had. Fantastic staff too, so friendly and happy to answer any queries. Great local beers too. Great to see a small local place so busyβ
βGreat choice of beers and friendly service in this small and welcoming pub with affordable prices. Worth a visit.β
βGreat micro pub. Excellent draught ales and lager on tap.Plenty of choice. Reasonably priced. Good atmosphere.β
βSo glad we popped in here today. A proper pub, great friendly staff and a fantastic garden. Going back for the live music ASAP. Shame it's not my local but 30 miles would be a long walk home.β
βWe came to Blossoms in Brighton last night and it was great from walking through the door to sitting down. Drinking cocktails and eating food. The food was incredible. Service was spot on and the cocktails well for someone who doesnβt usually drink they were SO good.β
βWhat incredible food!!! I had heard so many good things about Med and it even exceeded my expectations. Every dish was unique, exciting and delicious. A wonderful, friendly and relaxed atmosphere with great service. We will definitely be back.β
βI loved the atmosphere of this pub! You can tell so much effort went into the halloween decorations, it was so spooky and cozy. Prices were very reasonable and service was friendly. Will definitely be back!β
βNice cafe cum bar in Lewes. Great food and service. I had a meat plate (full English) which was great - not cheap at Β£15, but value for money. The coffee is great and I also had a 0% Paulaner beer as it was about 10.30β
βCracking selection of well kept cask ales (5 available at the time of visit), superb range of keg and a well stocked fridge with beer from all over the world. You're sure to find something you like here. A warm welcome and some amazing snacks - try the poppadoms, thank me later! Dog friendly and a toad table...pub heaven. Well done Jim, another winner.β
βWe had a table booked for 7:30 Wednesday 14th August for 4 people. We were seated in the courtyard and it was beautiful outside under the Jumbrella - the temperature was perfect : 3 of us had the chicken skewers to start and the chicken was so well cooked it easily came off of the skewer and the garlic butter was to die for. The other had the sharing platter for 2 (the fish one) it was a perfect size for a starter and for one person even though the rest of us βhelped him outβ . Portion sizes perfect. For mains we had 3 steaks and the surf and turf. Really generous portion sizes, quick service, food was DIVINE it was a shame to finish. We all had the same desert the chocolate mousse choux bun and even though nobody really had room for them they went down very easily!!! We will DEFINITELY return. The manager and all of the team were so attentive, friendly and professional it was a delight to be served by them. We loved the fact that it is a dog friendly restaurant and wish that there were more restaurants like this! Keep up the good work!β
βIf we could rate this restaurant more than 5 stars we would. All dishes were full of flavour and hearty. The staff were professional and friendly. We would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. We will definitely visit again.β
βLovely Ale house. The London Black is a great pint and serves well. Lovely to be in a pub where people chat as there isn't music and TV. (Apart from the live band nights) Really enjoyed it , will be back and not only for the London black. (Didn't mean to go all dr Seuss).β
βStunning Italian food! I've often remarked that after eating in Italy the British counterpart bares very little resemblance and thus I stopped eating Italian food in the UK, until now! Perfectly cooked food, fantastic ingredients with a modern twist and it seems that Brighton agrees as it is often booked up at least week in advance. The ambiance is fantastic too, with seating on high stools around the bar, so you can often see what fellow diners are noshing on and get inspiration, if not for that visit, then the next. On my last visit I had a pea, broad bean and feta bruchetta, then for main course rabbit and pancetta, forgive me as I can't remember the exact names. If you enjoy Italian food, and let's face it who doesn't, do yourself a huge favour and book as soon as you can. Can not recommend enough!β
βIf you are looking for great craic, good beer and a great atmosphere, this may be the place for you. The live music is amazing, the general vibe is one of community and inclusivity and this is one of the best local pubs I've experienced in Brighton. There is an honest air of friendship and I have had some of the best spontaneous nights out amongst the regulars.β
βGreat micro pub run by a lovely couple. Nicely curated gravity driven cask beer, although there is a 2 line keg as well (one lager and one keg ale). Plus, there are plenty ciders, which personally I hate but they have plenty and my friends were very happy with their choices.β
βWhat a fantastic little country pub. Food is absolutely delicious (particularly the roast tatties...!) Staff are very welcoming and friendly, Chris the landlord is a charmer such a nice chap, makes the pub feel like a home. Out of all the pubs in Alfriston, The Six Bells is by far the best and least pretentious. Proper English pub overlooking the church serving great food, beers, wines and spirits. Will definitely be back...!β
βMust be one of the last pubs of its type. One very good barman, who remembers what you are drinking, watches when you want another, and does the same for thirty people. In the heart of Brighton proper. The Pride was off when I visited but the Strongbow was good. I no longer live in Brighton but it would make a terrific local if I did. Drinks are very reasonably priced. Probably the cheapest in Brighton. I'm told the roasts are good on Sunday too. Clean, good sized residential street pub. Use it or lose it.β
βGreat experience with very reasonably priced drinks and top grub. Customers are friendly like the staff and are responsible.β
βWe had an excellent time here this weekend. The room was clean, smart and had everything we could need (including iron, ironing board and free sweet basket). The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was lovely, we had the fruit with yogurt and full English. I would definitely recommend this hotel.β
βWonderful, charming and intimate venue. Approx 300 seats mostly raked where everyone has a great view of the stage and the performers. On this occasion it was an evening with John Illsley, formerly of Dire Straits. Wonderful stories as well as a live band performing songs from every Dire Straits album.β
βI couldn't recommend the Southern Belle more highly. The hotel is beautifully decorated, short walk from the lanes with absolutely lovely food. The best thing is the staff and atmosphere though - this made our stay really special and gives the bar downstairs a real local vibe. Will definitely be back!β
βMy wife and I booked to see Venom: The Last Dance on a whim as this was the only cinema with advanced bookings and we're so glad we did! Sleekly designed, clean, modern and spacious it really made going to the cinema feel like a luxury. The sofas were so much more comfortable than traditional seating and having legroom as two six foot people was superb. The staff were engaging, polite, welcoming and helpful. They even went out of their way to offer a substitution on my wife's ice cream sundae when they'd run out of matchmakers. The food and drink was reasonably priced considering the level of service as well as being delicious. The decaf cappuccino I had was of good quality and that's rare to come by. Overall, we're completely sold on this cinema being the best visit to watch a movie of our adult lives, we will be back, and you should check it out too.β
βJust incredible atmosphere. Seats placed so no one blocking view in front. Breathtaking production of Come From Away.β
βCame here because I walked past exploring the area while visiting for the day and could smell the food being prepared was instantly drawn to the pub. It was starting to get busy and most tables were booked but I was able to grab a space and enjoy a really good fish finger sandwich. Didnβt take long to come out, the chips were banging, the sandwich it self was one of the best fish finger sandwiches Iβve had! The tomato sauce was delicious and I found out it was homemade, tasted like a tomato soup (in my opinion). Good service, lovely people who work here and the atmosphere of the people here a good time. Definitely come if youβre heading to Hastings or if youβve live here and looking for something new.β
βA very nice place for evening dinning. Dogs friendly and very nice garden open space for gathering. Staffs are very friendly and good service. Small car park at the back and a very good location after Seven sisters park visit for refreshments or dinning.β
βWe went here for lunch after having seen some good reviews. It has a nice and light pub atmosphere, the service was very friendly and the food was excellent. Everything was great but the scallop special and the spicy king prawns were particularly good. Would definitely recommend.β
βWas here last weekend and popped in for a snack . Great staff here who were attentive but not in your face. It's a great winter pub a proper country gem but also amazing in Spring and Summer with it's awesome garden and views over the Sussex countryside. Good was great and just a great place to go. Thanks for a lovely time. The group who run this pub also run The Bohemian in Eastbourne and in the Towner light again both atmospheric places with Good food and wonderful service.β
βBest pub in town. It's the place to be. There is a wonderfully eclectic mix of DJ nights on throughout the month in the bar, fresh live music upstairs, decor like no other (see photos), award winning vegan kitchen and friendly staff. Couldn't want for anything else from a local pub. A total gem in the heart of Brighton!β
