“We took our youngest and his friends to watch Bad Guys 2. Its been over a decade since I last attended Cineworld due to our location, however it has improved massively. It was clean, the staff were fully engaged and the seats were comfortable. Of course you pay a fortune for popcorn, but it's a business, they have overheads and need to make a profit, it just the price you pay for a decent day out.”

“The restaurant is absolutely fantastic. I've just had an amazing supper. Crayfish mango and avocado to start. And calves liver and mash with super veg. My partner had Christmas burger with brie cranberries and fabulous chips. Uckfields hidden secret. You must go”

“Nativity was another outstanding performance from Trinity and their Youth Theatre. Professional with such a talented cast, both young and old(er). The youth theatre performances are always full of joy, talent and energy, but this was another level again. I don’t know how they do it!”

“My wife and I booked to see Venom: The Last Dance on a whim as this was the only cinema with advanced bookings and we're so glad we did! Sleekly designed, clean, modern and spacious it really made going to the cinema feel like a luxury. The sofas were so much more comfortable than traditional seating and having legroom as two six foot people was superb. The staff were engaging, polite, welcoming and helpful. They even went out of their way to offer a substitution on my wife's ice cream sundae when they'd run out of matchmakers. The food and drink was reasonably priced considering the level of service as well as being delicious. The decaf cappuccino I had was of good quality and that's rare to come by. Overall, we're completely sold on this cinema being the best visit to watch a movie of our adult lives, we will be back, and you should check it out too.”

“Went here to watch one of the film that was on during the week (Urchin) and had a wonderful experience. Very smooth process from booking online, arriving and interacting with very friendly staff. Then the actual theatre. Absolutely comfortable 10/10. Very clean environment; comfortable seating; and the sound system was perfect. Literally had a better movie experience here than I did at a much larger operated cinema 2 days prior.”

“Lovely authentic feel to the building. The seats in screen 4 are so comfy and would be cheap at twice the price! I had the most amazing time! One teeny tiny negative was the surround sound was overwhelmingly LOUD.”

“Great small venue. Crowded but not "sardines"! Standing only but noticed some seats had been reserved and a few people sitting in them near the front which was lovely to see - great inclusion for those that struggle to stand for a gig. Presume this was arranged in advance.”

What should have been a very stressful event was super simple and the day went perfectly. All of our guests were blown away with the service, quality of the food and how beautiful the venue was. “I like the Capitol. I find the atrium area attractive and welcoming, the seating in the theatre is comfortable and you can get some good value cinema tickets here. The bar area can get full if there's a full house in the theatre and sometimes the queues for the bar are too long. A nice alternative is to go upstairs to am additional seating area and balcony - there's an extra toilet up there too. Unfortunately no bar upstairs though. Overall, I always have a good experience here.”

“The backstage tour is interesting, eye-opening and contains a spiral staircase of impressive height. Enthusiastic people taking you round and a cup of tea to finish. Definitely worth adding to your agenda.”

The Bell tent was beautifully decorated with the theme of colours I had asked for, all carefully chosen to make my dream a reality. Spacious yet cosy at the same time was perfect for our movie party night, all kitted out with all the gadgets you need. I will definitely be booking again! “This is such a fab local cinema. Good screen, good sound and comfy seats. Its decor may be a little faded, but the ticket prices are super reasonable and we always buy our snacks and drinks at the kiosk because the prices are fair and cheap (not a rip off like big chain cinemas). This is such a gem in Burgess Hill. We always go here :-)”

“Good screens, good popcorn and even better drinks (the Icee drinks are great). The screens are all very good, I went to screen 2 and screen 4 for different films, and even though screen 4 has less seats, the screen was just as good quality as the bigger theatre of screen 2. Great experience, lots of fun”
