“Excellent taxi service from Gatwick Airport to Lewes! Easy booking, professional driver, and a smooth ride. Highly recommend Sussex Airports Taxis for airport transfers in Sussex. Will use again!”
“Amazing little place we found by chance on google maps. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Good selection of food - but the two soup choices and sandwich selection were hard to look past. All washed down with good coffee and finished with a brownie! And all extremely well priced. Well done!”
“Wow! What a hidden treasure of a cafe in the heart of Rottingdean. Great lunch, hot coffee, top level service and the team were so helpful and friendly. After lunch we had a browse through the art for sale in the shop and bought some fab napkins with colourful Brighton art and Billy the seagulll…. Even lucky enough to meet the local artist during our visit. Thanks Aaron and team, we will most definitely be back! ❤️”
“I love this little treasure. Staff are delightful. It’s always a lovely experience to go there.”

Set within a tranquil and beautiful garden landscape in Hailsham, this premier cattery offers a serene retreat for feline guests. It provides a peaceful environment where cats can enjoy the sights and sounds of local wildlife in a safe setting. The facility features wonderfully kept units designed to ensure the comfort and security of every cat, including those with timid temperaments. Specialized care is available for guests with specific requirements, such as diabetic management or unique feeding schedules.
“I'm a planner. Wherever I go, I usually have a spreadsheet of carefully researched places to eat and drink on trips, so we're not left disappointed. So it was an unexpected delight to stumble upon this cafe, entirely by chance. We were so impressed with our first visit, we visited again, the next day on our short two day trip. Firstly, the menu is huge. We literally wanted to try everything. Every dish has something unique about it that has clearly been thought through. The food was stunning. Perfect. We had lunch one day (mushrooms on toast), and breakfast the next (pancakes and full English) and both were as good as each other. I don't say this lightly, when I say, they make the best hash browns I've ever had. I've tried making hash browns through my love for them and I've left feeling jealous at how they got these so perfect. Delicious drinks - coffees, juices and smoothies all made fresh. Unlike most cafes - they didn't do my pet hate and fill the glass with ice, which waters down the juice - winner! The service was attentive, friendly and speedy (on both visits). We are going to be telling everyone about this absolute gem and will visit as soon as we're back in Brighton.”
“Lovely shop with unusual bits and pieces on sale at good prices. Staff are great , let you wander around without the hard sale. Having said that , they are great if you want help in buying anything.”
“Lovely and friendly. Accomodation was comfortable, clean and welcoming. Shirt walk to the main bar where food and drink is available. Good location for local attractions requiring an overnight.”
“Delizioso e autentico! The moment you step foot in Amalfi, you realise very quickly you’re in a proper Italian restaurant. The ingredients were of top quality. We were treated some pizza after the owners overheard us talking about the pizza oven, and I look forward to returning to sample more. Would recommend.”
“Great facility, lots of space and possibly the largest passenger lift I have ever been in, clean and with many facilities. Although I will admit I didn't try the cafe”
“Emmy is utterly wonderful with dogs. Our springer spaniel is a bit (a lot) dramatic and she always brings out the best in him, working patiently and confidently with his quirks and he always comes out looking so handsome and cared for. Its clear that she loves what she does and not just that, is fabulous at it too. You can really tell that she loves each dog she cares for. We wouldn't take our dog anywhere else. Also her bow ties are utterly adorable. We have to buy one for our dog every time we go in!”
“Mike and Susie are super guests. It is a beautiful setting in Sussex close to Brighton and Burgess Hill. Hurstpierpoint is a lovely little village close to the farmhouse with restaurants and bars. Lovely breakfast was served. Thank you for your hospitality.”
“Wow -I so love going to Brush!!! Jojo is such a wonderfully intuitive hairdresser. She gets it so right, everytime and I leave feeling like my hair looks even better than I could have ever imagined! Whether it's a cut that you weren't sure you could pull off or a change of colour, you will not be disappointed. It's a unique experience for me being able to go to a hairdresser and have total faith and trust that you are in such safe, capable and creative hands. Go to Brush- you'll never need another hairdresser!”
“The best tattoo artist in town. Definitely worth to come down. Also nice coffee bar where you can think about your ink”
“Was my go to childhood barbers, the guy red is really nice and professional! Recommend.”
“Easily the best pub in the area. Eclectic vibes with plenty of space to sit and enjoy a nice pint. Great food and service with Laines beer on tap. Great outside space front and back and lovely local charm. Wonderfully friendly staff.”
“We enjoyed a first class Christmas menu and service, eighteen of us on a Tuesday lunchtime. The food was varied, we loved the choices of antipasti and the mains were good and plentiful. It is always nice to be offered a dessert that is something different and the Zuccotto was just that, and a large portion. We will be back along with those in our group who couldn't make it yesterday. The service was attentive but not too hurried and the restaurant was tastefully decorated. Thank you Al Duomo for a wonderful experience!”
“I haven't been inside this shop (walked past it in Brighton when I visited and it looks lovely) but I ordered two prints from England at Home on Trouva and I am extremely impressed with the quality and most of all the delivery of these items. I bought these prints yesterday and they arrived today! That's madness. I wasn't expecting that and it's made my day :-) thanks so much!”
“Lovely refurb of the Palmiera! Lovely and fresh with some nice arty touches. Great deals for for food and drinks. Free pool on Tuesdays and lots of sport available. Fun for kids and a great spacey garden space out back too. Lovely friendly staff !”
“I came here during pride and the staff were amazing. So sweet and caring, everybody were in such great spirits and really welcomed in everybody and made them feel taken care of. The food was fresh and wonderfully crafted. I had the lucky catch which was calamari with fish & chips as well as mushy peas with a spin. I had some of their handcrafted nonalcoholic drinks. The passion fruit spritz & the ginger one were great. The alcoholic drinks looked great but I had to work later so we kept it PG. I enjoyed everything 10/10. They’re right by the beach as well so there was beautiful scenery all around.”
“Great restaurant. The staff was super kind and lovely and the food was awesome. We had to wait quite a bit, but it was well worth it! The portions are pretty big aswell. I had the Battered Haddock for 18,50£. I definitely recommend this one!”
