“Fantastic Stained Glass One Day Course! Absolutely excellent! My Husband and I came up from Wales to attend this course. We learnt so much, had lovely stained glass art pieces to take back with us. Excellent tutors, Mike & Jenny both taught patiently and explained so well. My Husband and I had a really lovely time there. Thank you so much Mike & Jenny. We will certainly consider your other courses. We highly recommend your course to anyone looking at doing a stained glass course. Many thanks again!”
“My nan has been at the Hawthornes for 18 months and I can't thank them enough for their warm welcome and continued support. The staff are amazing here and genuinely care about the residents wellbeing. The accommodation and facilities are immaculate. Highly recommend.”
“The cinema here is fantastic! We went as a pair and there were only two other people in the whole cinema, so it was very cool to have the place basically to ourselves. Although it would be great to see more people choosing to watch films here rather than at Cineworld, plus it's significantly cheaper at £6-10 per ticket. The volunteers / staff were also so friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend enough!”
“For an affordable and stress free stop on a long journey, this hotel is really all you need. We received a friendly welcome from Claude, the room was comfortable and clean, with nice Dove toiletries, and breakfast in the morning was tasty and included in the room rate. Parking was free and we didn't notice any motorway noise.”
“Great location just off the main road, short run into town if needed! Very clean comfortable rooms, lovely staff and great restaurant opposite. Will be back soon and look forward to their refurbished rooms in time.”
“As always Hilton was fab. What really stood out about this location was the staff, don't get me wrong they're always lovely. We had our 2 yr old with us, when checking in the ladies at reception moved our room to the ground floor as lifts were being serviced when we came. So thoughtful, saved us a lot of trouble. They offered lego, crayons to colour with, and wordsearch for little one. Breakfast the team were attentive, again they saw little one and asked if we would like children cutlery and brought it out. Another staff member came over and let us know they could do waffles or pancakes for little one. We went with pancakes and he loved it! Same staff member (I'm cross with myself that I didn't get her name) when we getting ready to leave asked 'will we be seeing you for breakfast tomorrow?' We were just there for the night, she asked if we had plans for the day, my husband was taking our little one to a kids play whilst I had to go to work. Which she gave some solid recommendations on, glad she did because the place she'd said had been amazing. We were at Hilton in Bath earlier this year, this extra care from the staff didn't happen there. Again please don't misunderstand they had been lovely. But this level of care is what made my husband and I say we won't be bothering with any other hotel when we visit Northampton now. I know...long winded. But this family of 3 was very grateful and I truly wanted to convery that. Thank you!”
“Can't comment on the bedrooms as I didn't use them. The conference and events area however, is fantastic. It's really spacious and very clean. The rooms can be made up for any event. They are warm, welcoming and they can take away the business feel for more private events. The food and drinks provided are delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful.”
“We stayed here for around a month between house moves. All of the receptionists we encountered were super helpful. We even went back after five weeks to enquire about a lost item and they produced it immediately from their lost property box. Really super people.”
“The best place for vintage furniture and a large array of talented artists work. A good range of prices too. Something for everyone. Always worth a browse, hard to leave empty handed.”
“Amazing food, great service. Stewed Chicken with delicious dumplings to die for. Just the best place to eat in Northampton bar none - and so reasonably priced!”
“We had a fabulous stay. Really lovely rooms, great service, fabulous breakfast- and a wonderful country pub with amazing views right across the road. The perfect little get away. We stayed with our 16 month old and they were very accommodating. Very highly recommended.”
“Great cafe in the heart of Wolverton. We had a delicious cheese and ham croissant followed by yummy chocolate orange cake. A community orientated cafe.”

“Honestly there’s just one word for coco. Amazing. You step in and are greeted by the excellent crew and they make you feel welcome. I ordered the chicken and bacon sandwich and it’s the best spot for everything cafe in Northampton. I would highly recommend”
“The hotel is close to the city centre and close to many amenities. The rooms are spacious and have everything you may need for a short or long stay. The service is outstanding, the staff is super nice and welcoming. The breakfast is complementary for sleeping guests, and it's really good both in quantity and quality. I stayed there two times and really enjoyed it, it will be my hotel of choice whenever I need to stay overnight in that area. Highly recommend! :)”
“Never had a bad meal ... great value, yummy food and Harlow, outer GR always gets a sausage ... so lovely to have a dog friendly cafe close by x”
“A real hidden gem and very dog friendly. Made to feel welcome from the outset by the landlord who customer service throughout our visit was superb (many others should take note!). Drinks very well priced and the food, we had the meat pizza and the chorizo/pancetta mac & cheese, was unbelievable and amazing value. If you are in the area, it's a must to drop in, we definitely will again.”
“Enjoyed out visit to Boughton House and walking through the estate and grounds, Nice day trip and not too busy.”
“Sportsframe. A professional company to trust your framing with in Northamptonshire. I have used Sportsframe for many years now. Framing my family photos, medals to sports shirts. Every time receiving excellent service and more importantly a professionaly framed item to display on the wall. They use top quality products which shows in the end product. I recommending this company for all your framing requirements. Chris Wellingborough”
“Friend lives there. Hall way spotless and well kept. Lovely front entrance, plants either side of parking area”
“Fantastic stay! Brilliant location, right in the middle of town with everything around you. Very clean Hotel. The rooms were very impressive too! Only thing I would say is I must have heard 5 plus staff drop plates and glasses, seemed very noticeable and often.”
“We recently stayed at the Mercure, Milton Keynes, while visiting a friend. The hotel is immaculately clean, modern and in a great location. The staff were all super friendly and attentive. Our room was on the ground floor quite close to reception. And although the room was spacious and clean, we found the bed to be a tad uncomfortable, perhaps because it's a linked bed. Nothing major but worth noting. During the night there was a dripping noise, presumably from the air-conditioning unit, which again was bearable but could be an issue to some. We stayed in the autumn but I'm sure in the summer, the AC would be very welcome. The rooms were cleaned daily, although one day our room seemed to have been half done. Towels were changed and bathroom cleaned but the bed not made up or coffee sachets left. This was rectified by reception, so once again not a problem. The rooms have multiply sockets, with USB points which is a luxury in itself. We didn't eat in the restaurant but the bar food was delicious and more than ample. We have an EV and although the chargers weren't working while we were there, there were plenty of high speed chargers in MK. My husband and I would definitely stay here again, the issues I've mentioned are very minor so please don't let these out you off staying at this hotel.”
“We have loved visiting Primavera for many years; interesting and eclectic range of pieces. Helpful information and advice from Jeremy and the staff. Well worth visiting.”
