“Our 2 buns have stayed with Lesley a few times, they have a very comfortable stay. They are extremely well looked after, with lots of space to explore and they eat very well. Lesley is really lovely and has a great knowledge of rabbits. Highly recommend!”
“Fantastic dog kennels, would even go as far to say it's better than some hotels we've stayed at! Nick was a pleasure to deal with, always available and answered our queries within a few minutes. Our big dogs have had a lovely stay and came back happy and nicely worn out which is no mean feat! They'll be staying here again in the future for sure.”
“I honestly couldnt rate this place high enough. I have never felt so comfortable leaving my dogs anywhere. Its so nice I could stay there myself. The dogs enjoyed their VIP room and loved their daily chicken and walks. My boy has even come home better behaved.”
“Anastasia's was perfect for my cat, he was so settled there and has never been that chilled at a cattery, I won't take him anywhere else now. Loved the little updates I received and they gave him lots of fusses and played with him daily. Excellent place and couldn't recommend it more”
“We asked Marina to look after our 2 cats several times and it’s always been a pleasure. She’s responding quickly and accommodating for any requests we have. Our 2 cats are quite shy and nervous so hotel was not an option. They trusted Marina really quickly so I knew they were in good hands. Definitely recommend!”
“Floof got his first groom from Village pets and what an awesome service - he did come home with a bow which he lost during play, the other dogs thought he just smelt too good! Thank you Phoebe & Village Pets for his lovely fluffy groom!”
“Fantastic pet hotel for your small pets - our guinea girls love it here. Really clean, spacious, great areas - indoors and outdoors spaces to suit your pets preferences. During the summer, they had AC in the indoor pet space to keep it the perfect temperature and prevent overheating. Pets seem really well looked after and loved. Plus owners are lovely too. Very reasonable pricing, easy to get to location.”
“Pippi came home happy and content. She only had a short stay in preparation for a longer one. The staff seemed very kind and caring.”
“Highly recommend Tumblepups! Holly has been attending for 4 years since she was a puppy and Fen our new puppy also goes! They are always excited to go, are well cared for and come home shattered!”

“By far my favorite kennel in the area. My dogs never seen stressed or upset when we pick them up and they have plenty of space sharing a room. I will always pick Cozy Pets as my first boarding option!”
“We couldn’t recommend Brampton Grange enough for a wedding venue. Tracey and the team made the whole experience stress free as there was room for flexibility. We was able to discuss exactly what we was looking for our wedding day and Tracey was able to guide us and give us options to make it possible. I was able to pick the phone to the venue and have all my questions answered and mind put at ease leading up to the big day. The venue is beautiful and simple which allows you to add your own touches however big or small. We wish we could do the day all over again. Thank you again x”
“Helpful and friendly. Dogs seemed happy.”
“Amazing staff, brilliant food and overall a wedding experience that will never be forgotten. Nothing was too much for the staff. They were professional, efficient and friendly throughout and made the wedding weekend perfect . I can't complement the staff enough nor thank them enough for making my sons wedding weekend so perfect. Their service was impeccable , the food was impeccable, and their attitude unbelievable. An absolute top venue for a wedding with nothing to complain about. Thank you for making my sons wedding so special.”
“Ah, where do I begin with the Oak House Hotel in Wellingborough? You see, it's not every day that you come across a place that strikes the perfect balance between affordability and genuine warmth, but Oak House... Oak House does it with a grace that's hard to find in today's world. From the moment I stepped through those doors, I was greeted by a lady named Gayle. Now, let me tell you about Gayle. She's not just your run-of-the-mill hotel employee. No, she's the heart and soul of the place. The kind of person whose very presence just makes you feel at home. Her smile? Infectious. Her demeanor? As warm as a freshly brewed cup of tea. She's the gemstone of hospitality, and her kindness... it's as refreshing as a cool breeze on a hot summer's day. Now, the hotel itself, they say it's a 2-star establishment. But let me assure you, the moment you walk in, that star rating feels like a gross underestimation. The ambiance, the decor, it all gives off the air of a place that should boast at least an extra star by its name. It's a classic example of not judging a book by its cover. The dining area and bar are what I'd call an oasis of tranquility. Spacious, yet intimate enough to make one feel cozy and undisturbed. A perfect spot to unwind after a day of hustle and bustle. And would you believe it, I had my folding bike with me, quite the conundrum at most places, but not for Gayle. She whisked it away and secured it without so much as a second thought. It's little touches like this, the understanding of a traveler's needs, that truly set Oak House apart. The rooms, oh, the rooms! Each one came with a tea and coffee set, a small gesture that speaks volumes. The comfort of being able to brew your own beverage whenever the need strikes is something I cherish deeply. And for those who indulge in tobacco's embrace, fear not. The hotel has a smoking area at the back, complete with a canopy to shield you from the elements. They understand that some needs don't adhere to the clock's whims. But the pièce de résistance, the crowning jewel of the Oak House experience, is Gayle's tour. She takes each guest around upon arrival, ensuring that no one feels lost. It's a personal touch, a sign of care and consideration that you just don't get everywhere. In conclusion, my stay at the Oak House Hotel was nothing short of delightful. It's more than just a place to lay your head; it's a warm embrace in the form of lodging. If you're ever in Wellingborough and need a place to stay, look no further. Oak House, with Gayle's incomparable hospitality, will make sure your visit is memorable. It's a shining example of how a hotel should be run, and I, for one, cannot recommend it highly enough.”
“We recently stayed to celebrate my partner’s birthday and had the most wonderful time. This is our favourite place, and once again it did not disappoint. The service throughout our stay was exceptional, and the food was outstanding. Dining at the Cedar Restaurant is an absolute must — it’s a truly exceptional experience and a real highlight of the stay.”
“There's plenty to say about my experience, we came here for an afternoon tea event and stayed over night. The christmas afternoon tea was lovely, there was a live Singer with a stunning voice and she stayed singing the entire time. A varied selection of delicious and moist mini cakes, scones with jam and clotted cream and sandwiches. Along with practically never ending tea. The atmosphere was cozy and warm, the decoration In the tea room was aesthetic and service was brilliant. Staff was polite and quick for being so busy. Check in to the hotel was quick and simple, the hotel itself was also pleasant decorated. Beds comfy, shower pressure was amazing, warm lights, luxurious toiletries, the nescafe machine was a nice touch along with the classical radio. One small issue was a small patch of mold I'm the bathroom”
“Friendly, helpful staff. Beautifully cooked bespoke breakfast. Served by manager & staff who couldn't be more helpful. Our little group ate here two nights, first night very good, second night food a little over cooked and dry. But edible. Drinks hotel prices, only one real ale on offer. Rooms clean & tidy, could do with a refresh re painting etc. Bed mattress in our room not so good although our friends bed was fine. Booked through travel zoo. All in all great stay & fantastic value.”
“It was a wonderful stay with our children as a treat. My husband and I had a lovely massage. The kids adored the pool. We sat by the open fire for hours and hours just taking in the ambience. The family room we had was lovely. Very clean and spacious. We all slept really well. We left feeling refreshed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely return. The only downside was we missed having some hash browns for breakfast!”
“Lovely room. VERY clean and well presented. Lovely peaceful place and lovely service. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend!”
“Great value, very comfortable rooms and excellent service. No onsite parking but a choice of 2 carparks within a 5 minute walk.”
“I stayed here in mid August and I can highly recommend this location. I arrived here following an overnight flight from Texas. It was very hot in England and the rooms do not have air conditioning (which is very typical in England). The staff had though put a fan in the room and it was already running when I arrived. When you arrive, you handle the check in yourself and the process just works. They email you a combination code and your room number and you get access to the key. Painless and easy! I had dinner and breakfast in the Golf club lounge and the staff were friendly. A little short handed but super friendly. I recommend this location and I would stop here again. I only stayed one night.”
“We had a fantastic couple of nights stay here. Jackie and Mandy went above and beyond as well as the rest of the team - thank you! Room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. Style of the hotel also beautiful along with the grounds. The food in the Eyas restaurant was a very special treat and delicious! The East Wing Lounge food was also fab. Breakfast was also a nice experience, new lovers of chai tea!! Castle Ashby gardens is also a short walk and free admission for guests - absolutely stunning and worth a visit. Would highly recommend the Falcon to anyone looking for a mini break and escape. We will be back again in future! Mollie and Josh x”
“We stayed at the Aviator in August and loved just about everything about it. We received a very nice welcome and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious, well appointed and comfortable. It was also quiet. The art deco fittings and decor thought the hotel are beautiful and very well preserved. Food was very good. The wine was very reasonably priced and the two locally brewed beers were dangerously moreish! Set beside a not too busy flying club the grass area outside of the hotel was an ideal spot for a pre dinner drink. This hotel is great value for money and well worth a visit.”
“Over 2 years ago, we got married at this location. The day was perfect. The staff were helpful throughout the planning process and the day itself went without issue. 2 years later, we came back, now with our son, for our 2 year Anniversary. Again, the staff were extremely professional, the food was worth more than what they charged, and, to help us celebrate, some items were made free for us. I cannot say just how amazing every aspect of the Woodland Manor Hotel is and the staff are amazing”
“We held our daughters surprise babyshower here and can honestly say the service was impeccable. Nothing was too much trouble and any requests were met with a smile and quick action. Thank you all so for making the day so special we shall definitely return.”
“My lad was there for 8 nights and he was very happy. Great place, kennels were warm and he had a comfortable bed. I can recommend the staff as excellent. Many thanks Kev”
