“Basic room, but clean and sufficient to lay your head. Linda and staff made us feel like locals! Very welcoming and super customer service, room wasn’t ready so she gave us a discount voluntarily!which was so lovely , busy pub full of well behaved young people having fun…… but by midnight not a sound . We are hoping to stay agsin for the famous beer festival later this year, Kate and Brian Thomson 23/5/23”
“Very friendly service! Basic room (standard travelodge), perfect location for the lakes! Plenty of options near by for a great breakfast, shopping and a stroll round the lakes.”
“Julie successfully bonded our two boys Earl Grey and Whiskey, she is absolutely wonderful and extremely knowledgeable about rabbits. Before we brought them to her for bonding (and boarding) both rabbits were so aggressive towards each other that I honestly doubted that there was even the slightest chance of them bonding. Julie patiently responded to all my questions and gave me plenty of useful advice before I even booked the boys in. When we dropped them off, I felt absolutely confident leaving them in her care. She updated us on the progress throughout, with messages, pictures and even videos. It is thanks to her that we now have two happy bunnies who are totally in love with each other, and seeing them together, whether it’s grooming each other or just relaxing next to each other makes me so happy. Whether you’re looking for boarding or bonding, I can wholeheartedly recommend Julie and have my boys already booked in for our next holidays.”
“Our dog loves going to this kennels. Friendly helpful staff. Clean, our dog never comes home smelling. Very well looked after at Chalkwells.”
“We had such an enjoyable stay at Mark’s place, everything was perfect, the kitchen and shower were 1st class and it felt very homely, with everything you could need. Higham Ferrers itself is quaint and quiet with all the local amenities within walking distance. Mark was quick to respond, very welcoming and so lovely.”
