“I have just collected my little sausage dog from his 3rd stay at Oaksedge farm. Its a truly lovely place where I know he is looked after very well.. I'm very protective over Lincoln and he's never stayed with anyone apart from family. However, I instantly got a good feeling when I looked around the farm and could tell that animals come first!! I would never take Lincoln anywhere else. Thank you to everyone who looked after Lincoln xx!”

Claire took care of our beloved Westie, Murphy, for two weeks while we were on holiday, and we couldn't be more pleased with the exceptional service provided. “From day one this hotel was just perfect! The location is spot on – right next to the Derbion with fantastic transport links, making it really convenient. The cleanliness throughout the hotel is impeccable, everything feels fresh and well looked after. The staff here are absolutely brilliant – friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The restaurant is top notch nosh, with great food and service to match. A special shout out has to go to both Pat and George for their incredible customer service. They were lovely, chatty, friendly, and nothing was ever too much to ask. They’re a true credit to the team and made my stay extra enjoyable. Can’t recommend this Premier Inn highly enough – I’ll definitely be back!”

“Magnificent. Room size ideal and with Dog well catered for. Only small issue was with Dog, and its understandable we could not eat in a normal dining room with the Dog, the room we could eat in had a really low table lounge table which made it difficult to eat which is why we did not book breakfast as we could not leave the dog alone in room. This did not detract from anything but should be made clear that you cannot eat normally with a dog.”

“First class stay at Holiday Inn Express, great professional service from all staff members. Room and breakfast were excellent as was the shower and room facilities (tea, coffee, towels and toiletries), maid service daily and carried out at a sensible time too. Although the only slightly negative comment would be if you have booked a room with a door to an adjoining room it isn't 100% soundproof, saying that I didn't feel the need to ask to be moved to another room because of it. All in all a very pleasant and trouble free three night stay.”

“Stayed here for my time in Etwall and you couldn’t pick a better spot. The location is fantastic and the room itself was nicely decorated and well maintained. “Stayed here for going to a gig in town, clean and comfortable, a short walk or taxi ride to the centre of Derby... staff are lovely, plenty of free parking and a buffet breakfast for £10.75... the scrambled eggs were really good, a good choice of hot and cold food plus there's a bar and the restaurant serves other dishes all day.”

“Stayed here last night with my son, as we're spending the weekend at Alton Towers. Cannot praise Mary enough, she will bend over backwards for you. Rooms clean, nice shower, beds comfy enough for one or two nights. Don't expect the Ritz, it's a 3 star hotel and the building is over 200 years old. We would (and probably will) stay here again if we visit the theme park again in future. Thankyou for a lovely stay ☺️”

“Well worth the price! The beds and rooms were clean and comfy, the breakfast was great, and the people running it were lovely. They even had a bar with some good draft options (just need to stock up on ice)! Would definitely stay again next time we go Alton Towers or stepping stones.”

“A nice hotel in the centre of Derby. Rooms were comfortable, especially the executive ones. The buffet breakfast was tasty and the choice was good. The best thing about this hotel was the staff. Every one of them were helpful, supportive and went about their jobs with a smile. On check in we had an issue with the allocated room and they swapped it with no fuss or bother. Fantastic service from start to finish. Thank you for a great stay.”

“We were very surprised to see the hotel after seeing a 7.5 star rating! It's absolutely gorgeous, proper high end, but the prices don't reflect that. At £75 for a room with two breakfasts was ridiculously cheap for what we got. The hotel was magnificent, the room large, comfortable, well equipped and clean. Breakfast was tasty, hot and well cooked. We paid an awful lot more for much less. We'll be staying again”
