My two cats are both house cats so I was understandably nervous about leaving them for that long when they are used to being with us every night. Jennifer kept in contact with us via whatsapp every single day providing us with regular updates about their stay and progress which really put me at ease. The cat rooms are just adorable, they're immaculate filled with everything a cat dreams of! As soon as we arrived to drop them off I knew I had no concerns about leaving them, Jennifer was so welcoming, friendly and very knowledgable about everything cat related. You can tell Jennifer loves her job and is so passionate to provide the best service and care to her guests like they are all her own cats. And when I thought they couldn’t get any better, I arrived one day with the dog having vomitted on the way to day care - they took his blanket, washed and dried it and returned it to me on collection. 5 stars is not enough. “I send my four cats to Cloughfields Cat Hotel and I never worry when they are there due to the manager Julie taking such exceptional care of them all. She has taken time to get to know each one and their individual personalities and gives me regular updates whilst I am away, as she knows how much I miss them! The cattery itself is in an attractive setting for the cats, and is comfortable, clean and well maintained. It is also very secure which was also very important to me. I would highly recommend it.”

I needed someone to look after my dog whilst we went away, my dog is nervous around other dogs and I was a little worried if she would be fine.. tori and the team assured me that she would be fine and I couldn't have asked for a better service, she was made welcome and at home from the minute we pulled up outside. It is like a holiday camp for the dogs. It really is a home from home service as the dogs are like a little family there. Couldn't reccomend enough 5☆”

“We only popped in, we weren't overnight guests, but this is a lovely little pub that really is the heart of the local community in this rural area. There are lots of walks around, and beautiful views across the nearby reservoirs. Still close enough for a drive into Sheffield centre, Meadowhall or further into the Peak District if you want. The wasailing (Carol singing) is very traditional and of a high standard too. It's lovely to hear, and some of the carols are very old and individual to the area... interesting!”

“We arrived here after a long walk in the heat. The lady behind the bar was friendly, accommodating and made us feel very welcome. The views were beautiful and shandy refreshing. “I booked the spa and overnight stay for our 20th wedding anniversary. The spa was wonderful so relaxing and the staff were amazing even preparing us a surprise dessert after our wonderful lunch. The hotel is a beautiful place, our room was perfect. A lot of work has gone into this place to achieve its grandeur. We spent a lovely evening in the bar/restaurant and the food didn’t disappoint and the service was excellent. Thank you all at ye olde bell and spa for helping make our 20 anniversary one to remember.”

“Stayed at HEX on a coach trip from Cornwall. This is a fantastic hotel the concept of the hotel is fantastic. Rooms modern very clean well equipped. A separate resutrant and bar fantastic to be seperate from rooms. Great to have wildlife park on the complex no travelling. Also a complex of shops places to eat and coffee shops. The staff are wonderful so friendly can't do enough for you it's all the extra care to detail to make your stay great I have stayed in a lot of hotels Hex is first class. Highly recommended. Thanks to all staff see you again.”

“We organised a group booking for our Curry Club at The Station Hotel, Parkgate. What an amazing night. The quality of the food was exceptional, fantastic value for money and lots of variety. “Amazing 90 minute bottomless brunch. The food was delicious, great quality, beautifully cooked and presented. Great selection of cocktails. £38 was good value for the level of quality and service. We were looked after by Katie who was brilliant - attentive, friendly and helpful. I hadn't visited the Psalter since it was taken over a couple of years ago. I'd really recommend it for bottomless brunch or food, especially the small plates.”

It is so cozy, quiet, and filled with character. You can feel the history of the area from the moment you arrive. The rooms were beautifully kept, with thoughtful touches that made the stay feel personal and warm. Try the Chatsworth shortbread cookies, they are delicious! The Cavendish is the perfect place to unwind after exploring the nearby historic sites, hiking or strolling through the local charming towns. The staff were welcoming and attentive, always ready with local recommendations - especially Stephen who was extremely nice and very helpful. The setting is so peaceful.
