We had a hearty lunch after a long walk and left full and happy! The lovely lady serving us was so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The food was lovely and plentiful. Would recommend this to anyone!

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Donna and her team in the bar / restaurant. This was our first holiday with our newborn son and dog (so quite chaotic) and they made us so welcome for a Sunday evening meal. The bread and butter pudding was my highlight and the pub is a beautiful setting in the heart of the village.

Please educate your staff that vegan means no animal products and it is offensive to offer them haloumi or fish stating that other vegans are fine with that. Fish isnt even vegetarian let alone vegan and i have no idea why anyone would think its vegan. There's a token risotto vg option on the menu but there was no oat milk when we visited althoughwe were informed that there normally is. The staff are very friendly and the venue is nice. The coffee is OK. Wasn't sure if it was filter but it might even have been instant. The chips are cooked separately and the service saved us a lot of money since that's all we had!

Absolutely wondeful pub. The friendliest staff, so welcoming and friendly to us and our dog. The food was incredible and great selection on the menu and specials. Such a great place to spend the evening, can't wait to return!

We stayed in Youlgreave for 4 nights and popped into the Bulls Head for a lunchtime drink. We had such a warm welcome we decided to book a table for an evening meal that night. The food was superb and we were made to feel so welcome again, as if we were locals. We ended up eating there each night of our stay. The food was amazing each night and all of the staff were so accommodating and friendly. We will definitely visit again. Thank you, Mike & Sandra

So cute a proper country pub. Pre ordered the food so it was very prompt. The value is exceptional, decent standard beers. Cozy in winter and will be an amazing stop off on a cute country walk in summer

We ate twice last week at the Bulls Head last week. It isn’t the first time we have eaten there, which says a lot. We always book in when we are in the area. As usual the food was excellent, and the quantity more than we could manage. I don’t think we could find a friendlier and more convivial place to spend the evening. Thank you to the landlord, his staff and other customers! We will be back! Fred and Mary.

They fitted us in at short notice, so glad they did. Food was really good, I had brisket of beef and hubby had home made pork & apple pie, both delicious! Staff were friendly and efficient considering they were so busy! Would recommend!

Great place for a drink and food. There's a dog friendly bar and the pie was amazing. The only downside is that all other pubs pies will never be the same again. Friendly service and a nice welcome.
