Arrived on time for both pick up and return journey. Minibus very clean and comfortable and our driver, Conrad was friendly, helpful, polite and courteous. “Luna had a great experience at Longcroft Fulwood. I could not recommend Amy and the service she provides enough. We were away for a couple of weeks and we received updates and photos every day. It turned one of the hardest parts of going away into the best as the worry was replaced by the knowledge and evidence that my cat was in a wonderful, engaging and safe environment. Luna loved her holiday and will doubtless be back.”

“My cats have had the most amazing 9 night stay at Cawthorne cat hotel! My two cats are both house cats so I was understandably nervous about leaving them for that long when they are used to being with us every night. Jennifer kept in contact with us via whatsapp every single day providing us with regular updates about their stay and progress which really put me at ease. The cat rooms are just adorable, they're immaculate filled with everything a cat dreams of! As soon as we arrived to drop them off I knew I had no concerns about leaving them, Jennifer was so welcoming, friendly and very knowledgable about everything cat related. You can tell Jennifer loves her job and is so passionate to provide the best service and care to her guests like they are all her own cats. An extra special thank you to Christina also for providing the best entertainment and cuddles for Willow & Peaches! We will never take them anywhere else now when we go away. Any sort of maintenance issues always resolved really quickly with no fuss didn't have to chase up for weeks like you might have to with other agents/landlords. And when I thought they couldn’t get any better, I arrived one day with the dog having vomitted on the way to day care - they took his blanket, washed and dried it and returned it to me on collection. 5 stars is not enough. “I send my four cats to Cloughfields Cat Hotel and I never worry when they are there due to the manager Julie taking such exceptional care of them all. She has taken time to get to know each one and their individual personalities and gives me regular updates whilst I am away, as she knows how much I miss them! The cattery itself is in an attractive setting for the cats, and is comfortable, clean and well maintained. It is also very secure which was also very important to me. I would highly recommend it.”

“I went for lunch today with two friends. Honestly its such a lovely place. We were in the conservatory and it was warm and cosy and had that " loungy" " home from home" feeling. You don't get that in most of the other coffee places in Dronfield. Tables are usually crammed together with uncomfortable chairs. These chairs are upholstered and really comfy...which is fantastic when you have a bad back! The coffee is strong and how coffee should taste..and I am very picky! It was lovely to look out of the window and see beautiful greenery and vibrant coloured flowers...even saw a squirrel. Michael the owner is really friendly and listening to his stories about the history of The Chantry as we were leaving was captivating. I would also feel comfortable going there with a book on my own. I had a bacon, brie and cranberry panini...really tasty with a side salad and french dressing... If you want an "experience" then I would go here. Its a much welcome change from modern, cold, minimalist places and has a charm that can only come from years and years of history. It's somewhere that ticks the box that no other place round here does. We will be back soon!”

“Had an amazing night at the Riverside House Hotel. The service was impeccable, the food delicious and the rooms comfortable. We stayed in the Rafters room which was well equipped and extremely stylish, with a fantastic ensuite which had jack and jill basins and a roll top bath. Overall this place is absolutely awesome, it's a little on the pricey side (for us normal folk!), however as a special treat I think it is well worth the money. Will definitely be back again!”

I needed someone to look after my dog whilst we went away, my dog is nervous around other dogs and I was a little worried if she would be fine.. tori and the team assured me that she would be fine and I couldn't have asked for a better service, she was made welcome and at home from the minute we pulled up outside. It is like a holiday camp for the dogs. It really is a home from home service as the dogs are like a little family there. Couldn't reccomend enough 5☆”

“I have left a review before and was really happy with our meals. But I wanted to do a special update. We got married on the 6th of September 2025 and decided to have our reception at The Gate in Langwith. Phil, Denise and the staff were fantastic, listened to what we wanted and had no issues with my requests. On the day we turned up and Denise had decorated the tables in the orangery beautifully. The meal was at the very high standard we have come to love from the chefs and could not fault any part of it. All our guests said it was a beautiful meal and it made our day even more memorable. “We only popped in, we weren't overnight guests, but this is a lovely little pub that really is the heart of the local community in this rural area. There are lots of walks around, and beautiful views across the nearby reservoirs. Still close enough for a drive into Sheffield centre, Meadowhall or further into the Peak District if you want. The wasailing (Carol singing) is very traditional and of a high standard too. It's lovely to hear, and some of the carols are very old and individual to the area... interesting!”
