In Sheffield on business, wanted to try something new other than a hotel, the houseboat hotel was warm and cosy, super comfy bed and spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend. And what a loverly view to wake up to!
Beautiful boat 5 minutes from Sheffield city centre but you'd never know! Comfy bed, plenty of space in the boat. Lots of little thoughtful touches from the owner.
Had a brilliant time staying in this houseboat, couldn't ask for more facilities in the boat. Very warm and cozy, amazing experience, would recommend.
We spent 2 nights on the Lila May and it couldn't have been better. The accommodation was cozy, clean and close to some amazing local gems. The atmosphere was so peaceful and it was located only 10mins from city center.The boat had everything you could need. Only thing I would have asked for is a couple bigger towels. All in all a lovely stay :) x
I cannot fault a single thing about our stay! The boat was absolutely stunning (bigger than I expected) the location was impeccable - fab bar near by and a 10 min walk to town, parking right next to the boat too. The whole experience was extremely pleasant, im so chuffed, everything was just perfect for my partners birthday. 5s all round!
My partner booked this as a gift for my 30th it was amazing! We had our 3 year old daughter with us and she loved it. Everything is finished to a high standard, very clean, highly recommend. Towels, toilet, roll, washing up liquid, handwash, shower gel, and complementary coffees/teas were covered. Maybe could do with taking a bottle of water as there is no drinking water, although there was a few small waters in the fridge so we weren’t without. Will be going back again. A once in a lifetime experience, a lovely short break. Thank you!
Booked this as a birthday treat for my partner who loves barges, but has never spent a night on one! Perfect size for 2, very comfy, had everything you could need on board and a lovely little pub is within stumbling distance of the barge! Very quiet location and had a good nights sleep too. Would definitely stay here again.
