“I’ve brought my house bunnies - sadly only one now - to Karen for holidays since we first got them in 2018. She takes brilliant care of them, making sure she understands their (sometimes very picky) preferences and giving them space to run around every day. She’s a real bunny expert and has always offered tips, advice and reassurance if we’ve ever had any questions and if she’s ever had a concern she’s been in touch before getting them to the vet. If you have rabbits, or other small pets, I’d highly recommend Karen to take care of them whenever you’re away.”

“Longcroft Kenley/Gaby was amazing - her children too! As someone who was extremely nervous to leave her boys while I was away Gaby did an amazing job at making me feel at ease! I was sent daily pictures of them which was so nice/reassuring. The place itself is beautiful & there isn’t a lot of other kitties staying, so Gaby isn’t overly busy & is able to spend quality time with everyone. I will be bringing the boys back next time I go away… this will be there home away from home!”

“Loria is amazing! I was so nervous for Puss's first time in a hotel whilst I was away but Loria kept me updated and reassured. I was sent gorgeous photos and his mood throughout. Even when booking I was given ample information so that paying was a breeze. And when picking him up, I was running late and Loria was oh so patient! Puss came back super chilled and playful, like there's a spring in his step! We will be back again, worth every penny!”

“Ali is an amazing and caring person. She looked after our cat, Carrot, as if he were her own. Longcroft Cat Hotels are brilliant. When we took Carrot to Ali at Cole Green Welwyn I just instantly knew that he was going to be cared for so well. I just love receiving updates and photos and show them to everyone! “We left our cat here for a little over two weeks and we were very happy. The room is very nice and clean with enough space for cats to roam. We got pictures and updates almost every day and from what we saw there were lots of toys provided. Highly recommend! Thank you Ann .”

“I recently had the pleasure of boarding my rabbits at "My Pet Boarding Hotel", and I was thoroughly impressed with the level of care and attention that my furry friends received during their stay. Paul was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about rabbit care, and they went out of their way to ensure that my rabbits felt safe and comfortable during their stay. The accommodation was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of room for my rabbits to hop around and play. One thing that really stood out to me was the personalized attention that my rabbits received. he even provided fresh vegetables to ensure that my rabbit's diet was healthy and balanced. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my experience at the rabbit hotel, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in need of boarding for their furry friend. “Update: After my elderly baby Poppy stayed here over the years I would only trust Louise. My two kittens have just had a two week holiday here and were looked after so well. I wouldn’t go on holiday unless Louise had availability. Thank you for taking such good care of my babies x I found it really hard to choose a place to board my cat but upon meeting the owners of Oakland’s and seeing the accommodation I felt instantly at ease. The rooms for the cats are absolutely lovely and spotless. The family running this establishment are such lovely welcoming people. My cat Poppy spent two weeks here and came home looking so happy and healthy. I was sent regular picture updates which was such a nice gesture. I absolutely cannot recommend Oakland’s enough. “Our standard dachshund, Sniper, recently stayed with Sam and her daughter, Daisy, for five nights whilst we were away. He received excellent care and did not appear to miss us. Sam sent us regular messages and photo/ video updates about Sniper, who was very happy - slept well, ate well and thoroughly enjoyed the company of the other dachshunds and of Sam and Daisy. I particularly liked the fact that the dogs were walked in the fields each day, also the play activities and stimulation which Sam incorporated into their days. We collected a very contented dachshund.”

“After viewing so many normal catteries we stumbled across Longcroft luxury cat hotel at Chelmsford for our two 6 month old, very active, Bengal kittens and we were so happy! I’m a very fussy cat-mum and really struggled to find anywhere that I was happy to leave my furbabies until I came and visited Tim at Longcroft. He really seemed to care and love all his furry guests and really put all my worries aside. The “suites” are immaculate, beautifully decorated and they had a great space with large, sturdy cat tree and lovely bedroom area with bed and Tim also brought in a water drinking fountain especially for the kittens to use which they loved and as it was hot they had their own fan too. We also took along a lot of their home comforts and toys which was welcomed. Every day whilst we were away we got lovely updates and or photos and a really lovely postcard “from the cats” on their last day. It really did put us at ease seeing them relax into their holiday home. Every evening the kids would ask if we’d heard from the cats yet :-) When we collected Bobby and Dolly they seemed very happy and relaxed (as did all the cats in their care!) which was just so lovely. “I've been having regular lessons from Lindsay for three months now, and the swimming lessons are really excellent. Lindsay has a wealth of technical knowledge and swimming experience that really shows. She also is a great coach, technique is taught clearly and she adapts what to focus on in each lesson based on my individual ability and current progress - this helps make the learning process more effective and learning technique more digestible. Lindsay has a patient and energetic coaching style, and I'm seeing great progress against my own swim goals - thank you! I'm fairly new to the triathlon world, and prior to starting with Turner Swim, I've previously really struggled with swimming, and nearly gave up triathlons as a result. However, I decided to get lessons with Turner Swim - I'm so pleased I did! I'm more confident, and my swimming progress has been greater than I personally expected so I'm really pleased!”

Emma at Longcroft did a great job talking at length through how they looked after their guests, reassuring me my babies would be absolutely fine. And they were! The set up is fab, the pamper options are so cute(!), and they settled in pretty quickly, especially our most anxious baby. Emma sent photo updates to reassure us and after a couple of days I stopped stressing, which was down to Emma, her team, and the fab little luxury hotel she runs. I would definitely recommend!”
