“A great dental practice all round. I needed an emergency appointment due to severe wisdom tooth pain and was referred to several other practices. Western Cottage was the only one that understood the urgency of the situation. They booked me in right away. Lauren, the receptionist, was really lovely and understanding. Dr Mariam was a very attentive dentist and was great at reassuring me. I really felt they listened to me and gave me the best advice and care needed. I’m now registering the rest of my family here!”

“We did the black taxi tour. Hands down the best part of our trip to London! Ollie is not only super friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable—like, knew all the cool facts and hidden gems you’d never find on your own. Not to mention he is a pretty great photographer and you’ll get some awesome pictures along the trip. We got to see so many iconic sights up close and personal, and the whole experience felt really special. If you’re in London, this is a must-do! Highly recommend it for anyone looking to explore the city in a fun and unique way!”

“I recently had a tooth implant at Laurel Cottage with Mr Naresh Hirani. I was understandably nervous as it seemed like a long and complicated procedure. My experience on the day was nothing like my expectations. I was put at ease straight away and the procedure was completely painless with minimal (if any) discomfort. Anyone considering such a procedure should not be afraid and I have no hesitation in commending Naresh as a true professional.”

“A lovely little cafe I came across as being new to the area and on maternity leave. The surrounding park is gorgeous and I often pit stop at Sassis for some iced coffee and a snack :) The owner, Wayne, was super accommodating for my little one’s first birthday and let us reserve a few tables for our family & friends. The staff were amazing, very friendly & helpful throughout the day! Food & drink, as always, was great too :) Definitely recommend this lovely little cafe to anyone, we’ll be back again soon!”

“I boarded my cat and dog with Oak Cottage Kennels & Cattery for the first time as our usual kennels and cattery were fully booked. I went to take a look and was very impressed by the very knowledgeable, professional and friendly staff. I could tell immediately that they put the welfare of the pets first. They were very good at explaining how the kennels work on a daily basis. I booked in two trial days for our Labrador and then both my cat and dog stayed for two weeks. I had very regular photos and it was obvious they were both enjoying their stay. I would like to thank everyone for looking after my pets in an exceptional manner. Harvey and Simba will definitely book again! A massive thank you to all !”

“Highly recommend! Would definitely return again. I was initially pretty anxious about dropping off our 14 year old cat L who had never been to a cattery before. I did a lot of research beforehand and Farm Cottage had good reviews, so thought I'd give it a go. They welcome visits if you like before you drop your cat off so that you can check out their facilities etc. I didn't do this due to my own time constraints. However, I was pleased when I dropped L off and they allowed me to sit in her pen with her for as long as I liked to get her settled. I brought her favourite blanket and pillow with me so that she had something familiar with too and this was welcomed. They also support cats with conditions. L suffers with cystitis so I gave the Cattery her medication to provide to her during her stay. The Cattery is also located right next door to a vets, so you have that assurance that if there were any issues a vets is just 1 minute away! One of the best things about this place is that they are happy for you to come and visit your cat whenever (during opening hours). When I was enquiring about catteries, some other places said that visits were not allowed! Obviously for peace of mind you want to see how your cat is doing etc. I visited L one weekend and it was lovely to see her in high spirits. Thank you to Dan and the team for looking after L! I'll be sure to return in the future.”

The restaurant itself is somewhat dated, but that’s not a criticism, it’s like walking back in time and the level of service reflects that. The waiters and all staff we dealt with were very kind and entertaining. The food, well, the food was sublime! I would recommend to anyone and we will be returning in a few weeks to try some other items on the menu! Fresh bread and butter on arrival was a nice touch, especially because the bread rolls were shaped like tiny loafs which was a nice touch!”

“A very positive visit . I was greatful to get an appointment the same day I phoned . Upon arrival we were greeted by Sarah with a huge smile and very caring nature, Sarah did everything in Her power to calm my very nervous rescue dog . We were called into to see the vet who was really l lovely and caring . Agata called on Sarah for some help to calm my dog and proceeded to give him a very gentle and thorough examination . Medication was dispensed. Everywhere was very clean . I left feeling happy that all my concerns and questions had been addressed.”

“Oh dear- booked a table at the American Bar for drinks, treated like something off the bottom of the concierge’s shoe. We were half an hour early for our booking and told to push off. Restaurant and bar totally empty but wouldn’t allow us to sit and have an aperitif while we waited for our friend. Worst service I’ve experienced in a so called top class hotel in London. ****Edit*** After my partner and I both put in negative reviews the MD responded with probably the greatest comeback ever. John invited us into the hotel for a meeting to discuss what had gone wrong and over a drink listened to what we had to say. This is a guy they really cares and it shows, we even ended up having a tour of the fabulous wine cellars. The Stafford- rightly back on top because of some lovely people who work there. 10/10”
