“Fantastic place to eat. I've been going here for the last 2 years or so and so far have not had a bad experience. That includes me and my wife, family parties and using their take-away service. The service is amazing, all polite, efficient and the owner of the restaurant is always on hand and thanks us as we leave. The drinks are a little pricer than I would like but that is the same no matter where you go and the pudding options are very limited (although I'm usually stuffed before getting to them) but overall, a brilliant place.”

“I'm so glad that I have found that place for my business when I'm going away. It's transparent. You get what you can see on the website. It's beautifully built with the few options of boarding. It's very clean, and you just want to sit there and watch all the business having a great time there while under Ashleigh care. One of my bunnies is disabled and Ashleigh managed to make my bunny there comfortable and stress free by adopting the place to her needs. I can't thank her enough. “Stayed in Christmas cottage for one night as we had dinner at the Fat Duck. Perfect location for that as it’s just at the rear of the Hinds Head. Really cute cottage. Small but perfect for couples. Denise was so kind and friendly - what a welcome! Cottage has everything you need, including a well stocked fridge for breakfast the next day. IMO reasonably priced for what you get and what you’re about to fork out for dinner!”

“Great dog friendly stop, not too far from the M4 located on the canal towpath. Very dog friendly , the owner was so nice to our dogs and spent time chatting to us, just what you want from a family owned pub! Food was fresh and tasty. We recommend!!”

Jill has made him more relaxed with other people in our home due to her caring nature she shares with the cats in her care at the Cattery. “Once Upon a time there was a immigration raid and it left me questioning everything. Was the chicken brought over illegally? Is the owner dodgy? Was the chicken foreign?  However with all of these questions on my mind I thought let me walk in there and find out As I approached the counter I felt to ask can I see your right to work but the overwhelming smell of fried chicken warmed my heart. I then went ahead and placed an order for a chicken burger with cheese and peri chips and once I took my first bite I didn’t care if the workers came over on a lorry or a boat I just thought BRING MORE OF THEM. The most amazing chicken burger I have tasted. Since that day which was the 17th of December 2023 (me taking my first footstep into this chicken wonderland) I have ordered the same thing over and over again and honestly it never disappoints. Whether your workers are legal or illegal I honestly do not care all I can say is you may not check their right to work but you 1 million percent do check their right to make chicken. I love you chicken cottage please fry up a burger I am on my way. You’re opposite heavenly desserts and honestly you deserve the name heavenly chicken.”

“Was a great venue for a hen of 17 people. The bar outside was a nice feature, especially with all the lights - it was a great place to set up a cocktail bar in the evening. We got lucky with great weather so we setup the benches outside for dinner which looked out onto the field with horses. The snug/living room was a great place to have evening dancing and the TV is setup with a HDMI cable to play hen games on the TV. The kitchen had all the facilities needed for meals and a Sainsbury is a 10-15 mins drive away which was super handy. As well as the pub at the end of the road.”

“Lindy and Simon are very friendly and helpfull, and always busy. Lovely house, the Wing is. The garden is nice, very relaxing. From around the farm you have wonderfull views on the Chiltern hills. WPF is also a good starting point for walks in the area. And the dogs on the farm are really kind to children.”

Had a few meals at the Wild Carrot restaurant, everything was delicious, the dishes were full of flavour ( super recommend the duck breast and fish and chips ) and beautifully presented. “My family and I stayed in a SmarterRent home in Surrey for ~6 months. We moved from the US to the UK, and we needed a proper home for us and our pets while we completed the selection and purchase of our home in London. We loved our home! It had all of the critical elements a family needs, especially a washer dryer. The house was also reasonably close to convenient grocery choices, parking for our car right out front, an outstanding GP, and easy train access to London. Most importantly, our home was incredibly pet friendly. All of the furnishings were easy to maintain, and caring for the property was simple because it was well decorated and designed to be useable by a family. I have stayed overseas in quality hotels that were not as comfortable or hospitable as our home. We could buy groceries and cook our own dinner. This option was far more flexible and ultimately more affordable than a serviced apartment, and we felt like proper homeowners while living there. And, critical for any pet owner relocating to greater London, PET FRIENDLY!!! Highly recommend, 10/10. I hope this review helps you when planning your move.”
