“I first met Josh around eight years ago when he had just begun his business, carrying out a simple TV wall-mounting job for me. Even then, his professionalism and attention to detail stood out. Fast forward to today, and his company, Home Cinema Interiors, has just completed a full media wall installation for our new home, including a fireplace, painting, and flooring. The transformation is remarkable. The vision I had has come together seamlessly, and the quality of craftsmanship throughout is evident. Josh and his team have combined technical expertise with a real eye for design, creating a space that is both functional and beautiful. I would not hesitate to recommend Home Cinema Interiors to anyone seeking outstanding results, and I will certainly be using their services again in the future. Many thanks to Josh and his team for delivering beyond expectations.”
“We went to see A Christmas Carol and it was amazing. I've lived hear Reading gorgeous over 25 years and this is my first time visiting the Rep. It definitely will not be my past. Can't wait for future productions”

“Good cinema with reclining chairs. The price higher than the competitors but the seat comfort might satisfy you. They got cheaper tickets prices Monday. Also with some promotions like if you have "meerkat cinema 2 for 1". They got insider cinema card where you can by tickets with offer and got some money back in the wallet put towards a another tickets. Also if yoy got company perks available you can save on those ticket prices too. If you love to go cinema just try it. Locate your nearest one. Enjoy your big screen entertainment!”
“Fantastic and currently under-appreciated spot in the centre of Reading. Great for hanging out, grabbing a coffee or a snack, with films and games of you're so inclined. Often hosting events too, which are great for a sense of community and allow you to support local makers and businesses.”
“What an amazing place, you feel like a star when you walk through the front doors glitz and glam. I will definitely be back if im in the area. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Xx”
“Richard and his team were faultless. Incredible knowledge to get the very best picture and sound for your budget and above and beyond attitude to account management and installation. Cannot recommend them enough and so glad we appointed them to create our home cinema. Thanks again for all your help!”
“I wholeheartedly recommend Bill and Alan at Hifi Cinema Ltd to anyone looking to invest in high-quality Hifi components. Over the years, all my interactions with them have been over the phone, and they have consistently been generous with their time and incredibly helpful. I will undoubtedly turn to them again for my next upgrade!”
“Our son is loving the afternoon group at Reading West - he's met such a lovely group of children of a range of ages. Older children who can inspire and motivate him, others of the same secondary school age who he can relate to and connect with and younger children who he likes to support. Each week he returns full of smiles and enthusiasm about the drama activities they have covered and he loves working towards a performance or showcase every term. Yasmin and her team make this fun, supportive and a brilliant opportunity for anyone interested in any aspect of drama to learn while having a great time.”
“My daughter and I love coming here as its good value and has a great choice of films . Staff are very helpful and there is a great choice of cinemas snacks available , these could be a little cheaper however we don't mind buying them as the film tickets are good value.”
“Very comfy reclining and spacious seats. Great location right next to Festival Place which has lots of great restaurants and places for snacks. I like that they include closed caption showings of the movies too.”
“Great independent cinema run in a lecture theatre. You can often find films that wouldn’t have been shown at the Vue or Showcase. Decent price too. They don’t allow food or drink.”
“We do not attend the cinema very often, but when we do the members of staff at Cineworld are friendly. The "Pick N Mix" is pricey, but that is what I would expect and the fudge is really nice. They sell nachos, but I do not like to consume foods which make loud crunching sounds when people are watching a film. They also sell hot dogs. The movie theatre is very clean and there was a lack of sticky residue where other people have left their drinks, which shows that the members of staff who engage in cleaning duties are paying attention to detail. We recently attended to see "Forrest Gump." It is obviously an older movie that we have watched numerous times and it was lovely to see it on the bigger screen. The movie attracted a decent crowd. It would be brilliant if they were also able to show "Shawshank Redemption" again at this theatre.”
“Good cinema! Alot of choice in terms of films, screens and food. Nice seating. Seats have good space and its always nice for the upgrades which is your choice. Pricing is a bit high. Hopefully when they re open and restructure they will be slightly reduced but you can only hope. All in all a good cinema and in a great location”
“Went to see ‘A Quiet Place: Day 1’ which is the prequel to the subsequent ‘A Quiet Place’ movies. It was a perfectly watchable movie. Vue Cinema Newbury historically seems to get mixed reviews in terms of customer service. Attitude and training comes from the top so the buck stops with the local supervisor. My experience today was great!”
“£20 for two for a movie late on a Saturday was a good price. Only 6 people at the screening. The movie (28 Years Later) was entertaining. Indoor car park a stone’s throw away. Would come again.”
“Really lovely and clean cinema. Tickets and the different available seating (including sofas and deluxe seating with footrests and saver seats) are a reasonable price. The cinema is always really clean and well looked after - including the toilets and the cinema rooms themselves. Whilst the food can be on the pricey side (as it is with cinemas in general), it's all very good. I'd recommend bringing your own cold snacks and drinks in if you are hoping to save some pounds. That being said, the XL popcorn for £7.50 is hefty and would be enough for two, probably three or four. Good range and availability of films and viewing times. There's something for anyone on at all times.”
“A clean, tidy, professionally run cinema. The seating has loads of leg room. Climate controlled so very comfortable.”
“My first time of going to the cinema here in Reading and my overall experience was a good one and not that expensive for a ticket, but the prices for popcorn and drinks a bit pricey, but wouldn't stop me from returning.”
“The best night out we've had for a long time! If you would like to do something different, romantic and sociable, then treat your other half to an evening in the moonlight. Watching a movie on the big screen outdoors is far more exciting than going to a cinema house.. The fresh air with the Stars above, It doesn't get better than this. Very well catered for. The best quality pop up cinema for miles around. A great atmosphere with experienced and friendly staff. Highly recommended.”
“Did a great job with our 6 year old’s birthday silent disco. Great communication and very reliable. Highly recommended. Don’t bother looking elsewhere!”
“So amazing everyone's is super nice and no one is judgy. Even in covid-19 times they're still fabulous”
“Great performance of Barber of Seville. Fantastic seats, close to stage could see facial expressions and comic timing. Very professional event. Not cheap. Was a present for us.”
“What a blast! Dizzy Dean is a wonderful party entertainer. He had a room full of four-year-olds and adults alike belly laughing – no easy feat! Parents were raving about how much fun their kids had and, even better, how engaged the little ones were, giving the adults a much-needed break. The birthday girl hasn't stopped talking about the show since. If you're looking for an entertainer who can captivate everyone, Dizzy Dean is your guy!”
“Beautiful theatre in a lovely area. Great for shows & eating out. I saw Jesus Chris Superstar with a group of friends & loved it. It was such a great production & each actor were superb. Highly recommend both the show & theatre.”
“Went to the Garsington opera, Barber of Seville. Spectacular setting. Secluded valley, central lake. There are picnic tables and tents. The weather was great for us, but tents worth it in case. Good disabled access.”
“We went to see the show ‘It will be alright on the night’ a ray Cooney production. This was the first time we had been since the sit down menu change at the theatre. Very impressed. Lovely food, comfy seats and table service. Staff were brilliant and we had plenty of time to eat before the show. The show was outstanding, very funny and we all had a wonderful evening. We also went at Christmas to see White Christmas and again the show was outstanding and perfect for this time of year. 100 recommend a visit to this wonderful theatre.”
“Brilliant theatre in Newbury been going for many years”
“A really fantastic venue on the outskirts of Maidenhead. I only had time to attend a gig in the studio which was converted for the evening into an intimate theatre. Very friendly staff and very well curated.”
