Staff I had dealings with are not good. They have a bad attitude and not very customer friendly at all. Maybe McDonald’s would be a better job for them.
Very comfy reclining and spacious seats. Great location right next to Festival Place which has lots of great restaurants and places for snacks. I like that they include closed caption showings of the movies too.
We visit this cinema regularly, but the experience is consistently let down by poor cleanliness and lack of maintenance. Seats are often dirty or broken, and the overall environment feels neglected. It’s clear there are budget challenges, but management attention also seems lacking. Disappointing given the potential. On the positive side, the seats are very comfortable if they're working.

Fantastic cinema. All seats recline, which is nice. Very spacious inside and everywhere was down and tidy. Staff were friendly and the picture & sound in screen 5 was fantastic. Highly recommend.
Lovely clean and spacious seats. I love the way I feel like I am in another world when I step into the cinema. The staff who served me my strawberry and oreo bits milkshake was really nice - thank you !! They don’t just do films they also do live national theatre screenings. Which are really lovely.
Clean cinema with lovely seating and always a good choice of films on! Rarely find myself visiting any other cinemas outside of Basingstoke as it's pure comfort and very well priced when you can pay 2 x that at a Showcase Cinema.
Giant screens, recliner chairs, Dolby Atmos surround sound and more. All of those are things that I love about Vue although sometimes can get quite cold in the cinema screen rooms
Went boxing day for 20.25 showing. It was clean, quick service, good chairs, no fuss no bother. A nice place to visit. Parking close by and places to eat. If, pop corn, dogs or ice cream don't do it.
Vue cinema is our preferred cinema over Odeon in Basingstoke. Although parking will cost, either in festival place or red lion car park, the seats are much more comfortable and screens are cleaner and feel more modern. Cinema is always clean and staff are more than willing to help. As with any cinema, the food and drink is on the expensive side.
