Rude staff at the desk today @4 who were passive aggressive towards me and my friend. Rushed us through the buying tickets process and explained it in a way that made us feel stupid for asking questions. We asked for the 2 seats at the back and she said “Just tap on the screen” in a very demeaning tone instead of calmly explaining it. Not to mention, they gave us tickets to the WRONG MOVIE. Apparently “Five Nights At Freddie’s 2” and “Running Man” sound very similar to the point they can get mixed up. This led to us being late at home for our respective families’ dinner and getting home ~1 hour later than expected. Awful service and especially cannot get over how rude they were at the desk to purchase the tickets. The person who checked them before we went in was completely fine, no issues there, but some of the worst service I have ever had in a cinema from the lady selling tickets

This is my first time coming to this cinema. The seats are spacious and the screen is huge. The facilities are a bit old, but it's an excellent place to relax

Cinema has capacity but doesn't get filled in. One problem there's not many European or 3D movies. Unfortunately It's also cold inside so you need to sit there in the winter outfits or bring a thick blanket, not pleasant. Some chairs need a repair. Some films are never screened here and some only for a few days so if you are traveling for a weekend or a week you are likely to miss out on it. At least staff is always kind and friendly, always very helpful. In the summer it is nice and cool. Unlimited cards and secret screenings are a big plus, too.

I visited on the 21st October and my experience was very positive! The cinema was spotless, including the toilets. A good selection of food and drink were available, the seats were comfortable and the screen temperature was perfect. I would like to give high praise to the lovely lady who served me and my family, I believe her name was Bex (red hair). She was very welcoming, chatty, kind and very helpful when I couldn’t decide on what food to purchase for me and my kids. She took the time to explain the different prices and meal combinations and even offered to help me to the screen with my items. My kids were very excited and chatty and usually at other places staff don’t really take the time to chat with them, but she conversed with them all and made them laugh, it really made our experience wholesome. I will definitely be returning! Thank you!

We do not attend the cinema very often, but when we do the members of staff at Cineworld are friendly. The "Pick N Mix" is pricey, but that is what I would expect and the fudge is really nice. They sell nachos, but I do not like to consume foods which make loud crunching sounds when people are watching a film. They also sell hot dogs. The movie theatre is very clean and there was a lack of sticky residue where other people have left their drinks, which shows that the members of staff who engage in cleaning duties are paying attention to detail. We recently attended to see "Forrest Gump." It is obviously an older movie that we have watched numerous times and it was lovely to see it on the bigger screen. The movie attracted a decent crowd. It would be brilliant if they were also able to show "Shawshank Redemption" again at this theatre.

This is a good cinema with up to 4 hours free parking if you park in the Morrisons car park, they have a good selection of films available , the toilets are clean, the staff are friendly. The food and drink selection is also good.

Imagine the scene. On holiday, it's Christmas Eve AND your son's 12th birthday. He's a movie buff and was itching to see the new Avatar movie. So we permitted him to choose every aspect of his night, including where to go and where to eat. He decided to try this cinema as it is not readily available to us where we live. He thoroughly researched his night and chose tickets that allowed him time to have his meal in the theatre. We arrived in plenty of time, and the cinema was very quiet. There was plenty of staff, yet we still had to wait in a queue to order food. We were told at the counter there was no hot food left apart from Nachos, which was a bummer since we hadn't eaten. I found the staff's attitude irritating; a supermarket was 100 yards away, and the cinema was nowhere near closing. However, I let it go as I didn't want to ruin my son's night further by complaining about the situation. By this point, it was too late to eat elsewhere, so we had few options. We decided to put up with the discomfort of hunger to see the movie since we had already bought our tickets online. So, imagine our confusion after finding our seats and settling in when late arrivals passed us holding hotdogs!! I was dispatched back to the lobby to source this food, only to be informed again that there was no food apart from Nachos. I challenged the employee only to be told that a stray hot dog had been found after she had served us earlier. I expressed my dissatisfaction, but it was futile as the staff had no intention of taking any action. They were attempting to turn everything off in preparation for the cinema closing. It may seem petty, but it was a special occasion that was planned based on the information advertised by the cinema. We were all too hungry to enjoy the movie and also annoyed by the poor service of the cinema staff. I was so uncomfortable and annoyed that I left the theatre for some air, and I watched as the staff attempted to shut down all of the concessions. It was obvious that they were anticipating the end of their shift with no real thought given to the effect on the customer experience. I can only assume that this company does not have an ethos of exemplary customer service. To have that type of situation arise shows a careless attitude. Then to show no intention of amending the situation or even offering a goodwill gesture is simply bad practice. Safe to say that Cineworld Cinema is one of my top ten “terrible trips”. Not a DO; it's a DONT!

The staff are all very pleasant and the venue warm and cosy. On the downside the programme volume is always far too high. I don't know who is responsible but the André Rieu concert we saw last week had obviously been edited.. Such a shame
