What a great place this is... Just been to the food n music festival today. Plenty of stuff going on, food, beer, music, sunshine... Fully family orientated... Can't believe that they put on a fully free family afternoon... Well done SHP!!

South Hill Park Arts Centre has been a fabulous facility for those living in the area - offering various cultural attractions and evening classes. Theatre, cinema, art exhibitions, restaurant, bar and many outside events are all available here, plus a vast area of parkland including two ponds with plenty of wildlife. Locals take it for granted, but I often travelled 25 miles or so to come here for events and felt it worthwhile. Support it, or it will disappear before you blink an eye - like many other facilities in the UK.

OMG! What a diamond find. With no expectations, my family and I visited the Park. Not only was the mansion and acres of land so beautiful, the sheer alfresco bar and food was so good. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a walk and some food to eat.

Haven't been to South Hill Park for years and recently visited for an event at Wilde theatre. The car park was free but did fill up when events were on. The Wilde theatre is quite small but the views are pretty good. I was up in the gods and the leg room was so so. The theatre has its own bar. Only downside was one of the gents toilets was out of operation resulting in a queue at the other one. There were a number of volunteers about to assist which was useful. The show was great and getting out of the car park was pretty straightforward.

Saw the adult panto at South Hill Park. Venue was easy to find and had plenty of parking. Quickly served at the bar and took our seats - directed by one of the very helpful volunteers. Lovely little theatre. It was quite warm inside. Panto was good. Fire alarm mid performance was dealt with calmly and professionally. Waited outside for about 10/15 minutes before being allowed back in. All handled very well. Preformed re-started and continued without a hitch. Great evening out.

Really lovely arts centre in beautiful grounds . Great Cafe and lovely staff running it. Great place to bring kids as there are 2 play areas and lots of places for them to run and see including fake bats in a tree and other sculptures. Great place for dogs too and free to park in a large carpark .would recommend

A beautiful building with amazing gardens. All access is free of charge. It's a shame the restaurant wasn't more clearly sign posted. Would love to have supported the venue by eating lunch and having a coffee. Saw people eating but couldn't find a route to it.

Visited here on the bank Holiday... in the morning. Plenty of parking, lovely grounds for a walk- either side of the road... all around the lakes and in the woods. Then back to the Arts Centre itself for a decent cup of coffee, and plenty of seating inside and out.

Nice big open space for picnics, flying kites, playing football, dog exercising. Beautiful place to sit and watch the sunset. A nice man made lake with ducks and a couple of resident swans around. The park itself is small of a walk, you can go around the park for more or less than 30 minutes.
