I absolutely love this cinema and have seen countless films here, but recently watched 30 mins of The Shining in Screen 1, there was a terrible flickering which was unbearable, so I walked out as we couldn't continue; it ruined the experience. The supervisor refunded us and gave us complimentary tickets, which was super kind, just don't watch a film if it's on screen 1.

Amazing, clean and seats were so comfy for such an amazing price of £5, I will be coming back again soon

These guys would have got a 5 but they had no vegetarian alternatives to childrens snack boxes. I thought id buy a large split it for them and was told they weren't allowed to give me an extra box, which made me think of people who go to the cinema as a treat and cant pay tenner per head for popcorn and drinks. Surely being socially inclusive is good for business! I always try to support cinemas by buying popcorn and drinks as I know this is how they make their money, but if they cant be bothered to be inclusive, I can be bothered to buy from them. Customer service was great, cinema was clean and the seats were great, we got recliners and the kids loved it.

Really lovely and clean cinema. Tickets and the different available seating (including sofas and deluxe seating with footrests and saver seats) are a reasonable price. The cinema is always really clean and well looked after - including the toilets and the cinema rooms themselves. Whilst the food can be on the pricey side (as it is with cinemas in general), it's all very good. I'd recommend bringing your own cold snacks and drinks in if you are hoping to save some pounds. That being said, the XL popcorn for £7.50 is hefty and would be enough for two, probably three or four. Good range and availability of films and viewing times. There's something for anyone on at all times.

Great film selection but that's where the good ends. A tired venue that lacks the ambiance of good old cinemas. Prices are high for the film and even more for the food and drink. Best bit - free parking

We went to the Empire Cinema in High Wycombe in order to see a film at a time that suited us. We parked in the on site car park that the cinema shares with Five Guys. Cars have to sign in at the cinema, but there seemed to be only one iPad available. We sat in screen 4, the seats were comfortable and the view was good.

Being quite a movie freak. I have gone to many cinemas throughout my life. Cinemas are always a great place to forget about life and to feel immersed. This really reflects on this cinema. The food is alright, but I haven’t tried the meat related items. Their drinks are good but their ice cream is the best. The cinema screens are great. Being paired with great speakers. The seats are never dirty and always are up to standard. The one thing is their service. Most workers are quite lifeless and only respond with “yes” “no” and “okay” except one person who is always a nice. He has a moustache that is dark grey from what I can remember. Overall it is great. But there aren’t better cinemas.

This is my first choice to cinema in this local area as ut tends to be more adult friendly and peaceful when compared to the main town one. Great seats, food options and always clean and tidy. We'll recommended

Went to see the new Minions film. Normally we go to Everyman in GX but let’s be honest it’s expensive. So we went to Empire, more available yet still can get fab sofas that are cheaper. Good mix of treats as you would expect. Do remember to register your car for parking.
