“Absolutely great thing to do! Food was ace, set up is great, staff lovely”
“Been to see Me & My Girl this afternoon. An amazing show. Congratulations to all involved. The leading man was brilliant.”
“Easy to get to venue (on ring road), parking just below with lifts and walkway up to venue. Clean venue except men’s toilets. Men’s toilets need refurbishment. No code needed for toilet. Cinema room has large recline chairs. Selection of food , drinks and ice cream to buy. Local shops and food venue very close to cinemas. Arcade very close to venue to entertain before or after going cinemas.”
“I really enjoy cineworld when I go, of course things are expensive but that's what you get at the cinema. The chairs are comfy, screens are a good size. Nothing to really complain about. Wish more people went to the cinema more often.”
“Such a cracking idea, the seating is lovely and comfy, the refreshments are very cost effective and there is even a bar again that is as cheap as chips. We had a fantastic night there watching the "Fantom of the Open" and have added it to our monthly nights out list.”
“Beautiful setting and wonderful people.”
“Tom managed to make my system sound like I’d just gone out and quad amped my system with enormous expensive mono blocks. The soundstage of my system for both home theatre and music grew in every direction and the bass from my subs were in another universe. All the fatigue and harshness and shouty quality was gone replaced by silky smooth treble and rounded realistic mids with zero sibilance. My Trinnov for 2 channel now sounds better than my Gryohon pre. And not by a small margin. This was the best upgrade I’ve ever spent on my system. I can’t recommend Tom highly enough. If you want one of the best (if not the best) calibrators in the country look no further.”
“I came here to watch Zootopia 2 with my nephews on December 19th, at the 5 PM showing. The staff were great, helpful, and friendly. The service was equally good as well.”
“We all love Rooftop Studios! The kids have attended dance classes there and also party events. Mum attends the Adult Vocal Smash group which is run by the awesome Kit and is really great fun. It's a fab venue with inspirational staff and a lovely community to be part of. Would totally recommend.”
“I have ordered specific shelves for gaming systems in the rack of my theater. Without fail, every single product fits the indented system PERFECTLY. Like a custom made home theater shelf. I live in Maryland in the United States and the shipping was surprisingly fast. Like a buddy flew home with it over the weekend fast. I cannot recommend them enough, what a fabulous product and outstanding shipping. 100/10 across the board. You will not be disappointed.”
“My son lives for Wednesday nights each week , the Wigle team have built his confidence and he is absolutely loving rehearsing for performances. Highly recommend.”
“Just watched Sweeney Todd at Severn Theatre and amazed that this is an amateur company. The performance was astonishing. Every cast member was terrific and the direction was exciting. Thoroughly enjoyable.”
“Lovely little theatre with a circular seating plan so sometimes the action isn’t always in front of you. Building is well maintained and everything just works well. Small car park, but the Polite Vicar is next door with another car park their. Well worth a visit.”
“Had a lovely evening watching The Lady killers ,I lovely little playhouse & the talent is amazing, had it all laughs & gasps”
“Watching 22 men performing in perfect was in an indescribable experience. Come on United the mighty Reds”
“What a fab place, lovely visit on Sunday 1st day of the season & what a lovely welcome, the guide was excellent & very informative. The house is beautifully kept & well worth a visit, we also had a lovely lunch each had a pannini & a homemade scone delicious, then did the recommend walk around the grounds just over a mile so nice & easy.”
“I have recently moved to the area from London and was convinced I would miss the London theatre scene. How wrong can you be? I have now enjoyed 4 productions/events at my very local Daneside theatre. I am told that the productions are amateur but i can’t believe they are as the acting has been spellbinding. “Little Shop of Horrors” was witty, had incredible scenery and props, and was the sweetest production I’ve seen ( I’ve seen it twice in the West end) “One man two guvnors” had me in laughing my socks off with the most incredible actors and then, I paid only £6 for a cinema ticket (the theatre is sometimes a cinema too) There was also a Pink Floyd tribute band with an amazing light show and phenomenal guitarist and also a fun filled Meatloaf musical. I didn’t want to write this because if the word gets out about how good this place is I may not get tickets to future shows ( everything I have attended has been a sellout) but I’m really writing this for the wonderful actors who have given me so much joy over the past few months. Thankyou.”
“Wonderful place amazing talented people a diamond hidden in a small village, I have spent an amazing afternoon watching the talented people of Audley perform Robin Hood my grand children were so wrapped up with the magic they hardly spoke a word now we can’t shut them up fantastic and a very special word has to go out to Layla Norcup she is definitely a star in the making. Robbin hood was played by a very charismatic young man and a full cast of wonderful supporters.”
“Really cool space. Massively enjoyed going to see the Ian Mood exhibition there yesterday. Love that Stoke has places like this thanks to cool people ❤️”
“What a fabulous place to stay. An old stone town house opposite large park with free parking. The house with many of the original features. The guest house is a stones throw from all in the centre of Buxton. Clean rooms with comfy beds and all the facilities even a fridge. The host is very friendly and knowledgeable about Buxton. Breakfast was very good and very hot. Good fresh coffee. If we go back to Buxton we know where we will be staying”
“Lovely little theatre - reminder of a world that no longer exists. Very basic and old school, but cosy and with comfortable seating. We attended a performance of the Wizard of Oz and were delighted. Even on the back row, we had a good view. Refreshments were very reasonably priced and staff were friendly. A magical experience.”
“This is a tremendous venue in the middle of Cheshire farmland. It may sound quaint but the set up is very professional. You are able to simply book your seats for performances or you can hire tables in the restaurant for your own indoor picnic. We saw James Pearson and friends at a Jazz evening, and he is the resident at Ronnie Scott's in London. So that can't be bad. The place is celebrating its 50th anniversary and so it's longevity speaks volumes for its popularity and viability.”
“Absolutely amazing show on ice & acrobatics. A must see show.”
“Fun production of Cinderella for the family at an affordable price.”
“Having a 13yr old childcare can be tricky over the long summer holidays. My son has a keen interest in musical theatre. So we signed him up for the Five Towns Theatre summer school. 2 weeks, 9-5pm for £130 is outstanding value not only that George had the absolute best time and made some wonderful friends. The end of summer school performance of Shrek Jr was OUTSTANDING! How they pulled that off in just 10 days shows the true commitment from the company and the enjoyment that the children experience. The whole show was full of smiles and laughter, start to finish. We will be back next summer, 100%”
“I hadn't been to The Gatehouse since I was a child and had absolutely no memories of what it was like inside. It's fantastic!!!! It's only a small theatre, but it's lovely and open. The bar areas are really nice too. The Staff are brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble and they all just really friendly and helpful. I need to start booking more tickets!!!”
