“It was our first visit to Sophias the welcome was very friendly attentive and best of all dog friendly. The food was tasty well presented and a nice fresh coffee . “Absolutely wonderful experience! We happened across this gem by accident and are so glad we did!! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. It's like walking into someone's front room ❤️ The selection of Lego on display to play with is perfectly chosen. Small enough to complete in a short time but complicated enough to keep interest in little people. It's a shame were so far away otherwise I have a feeling my 6 year old would visit daily! Oh, and the coffees and cakes were delicious! Thank you so much for having us, we hope to be back soon x”

However this place is stunning, service is amazing, food is hot and cooked perfectly, the coffee range they have is diverse and most importantly the milkshakes are toddler approved! From the outside it seems quite unassuming, but when you get in there, you're greeted by very welcoming staff and they're always on hand if you need anything. Food was fresh, served quickly and was more than filling. Highly, highly recommend!”

“Visited the Windmill Cafe & Bistro and found a part of Portugal in Newcastle Under Lyme. The traditional cuisine is delicious. Lots of choice from gorgeous fish and meat dishes to a variety of just wonderful tapas bites, soup and loaves of freshly cooked traditional breads. Lovely atmosphere for relaxed eating. Owners genuine foodies and friendly.”

“Came across this place after doing a gig the night before, lovely little place food was amazing the full breakfast really fills you and had the best mocha I've had in awhile. The staff were fantastic and really attentive. We will definitely be visiting again plus they had a french bulldog who was the cutest thing.”
