“Please prepare for me strudel next time”
“I had the Buddha Bowl for lunch and it was delicious. It was both super yummy and filling. There as also a good selection of teas and other hot drinks. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the cafe was super cosy. The people around me were enjoying their food and made for a great atmosphere. It's great their lunch menu is fully vegan. I plan to visit The Open Mind Cafe again, and would 100% recommend trying it.”
“Unbelievably good food, never had a bad meal here. Lovely staff, good location, great coffee. Average prices. Definitely worth a visit.”
“Such a nice atmosphere here! Everyone is really friendly and helpful. Just a relaxing and pleasant way to spend an afternoon.”
“Absolutely brilliant little space for celebrating 'the arts' and recognising and appreciating talent and passion. Run with passion. Gorgeous vegan brownies too! (pretty sure they count as one of your '5 a day'!)”

“Good food, and very good coffee. Obviously a popular place for lunch and the soup and cheese toastie went down a treat. Thank you.”

“This is a fabulous place to come too Good food Very pleasant And the train ride is amazing”
“Had the pork bap with gravy and stuffing (Apple sauce also available) and the chicken tender wrap. Wow the pork was cooked to perfection, along with the stuffing and gravy was absolutely delicious. The cob was fresh and soft I couldn't eat it fast enough. My partner had the chicken tender wrap, salad was fresh, the tenders were delicious, it was so tasty. They were even kind enough to whip us up a bannoffee pie, which was so yummy. Both were so friendly and lovely. There is a seating area with the most spectacular view across fields. Very clean and welcoming. Highly recommend K and R Cafe. We will definitely be back!”
“These guys do an amazing job in their community. Thank you so much, keep up the great work.”
“Me and my family had food here and we all thoroughly enjoyed it, the owner was absolutely lovely and took the time to chat to us and to our children. We will be back soon ☺️ definitely recommended!”

“10/10 best square sausage around. Friendly staff, brilliant atmosphere and great food”
“Quaint , hidden gem of Sandbach. First time here today. Polite and friendly service. Dogs were welcomed, which is nice to see. The food was cooked fresh to order. It was well worth the wait. I can highly recommend the mega burger! Delicious. Excellent choice of food and a great drinks menu”
“Lovely little cafe just outside Longton, fantastic food and amazing service with proper coffee! Had the small breakfast which was more than enough to fill me up. I thought the option of oatcake instead of toast was brilliant too. We took some homemade cake home too which was also delicious! 5*, would definitely recommend!”
“Seems to be quite the haunt for bikers and lorry drivers. But I can see why. The food is good and there are a fair few options for vegetarians also. When they didn't have what I requested once, the lady was nice enough to talk about other options. There's a large space for parking motorcycles outside as well as benches on the grass when the weather is good. Just be wary if there's a lot of traffic (in the car park) on a good dry day, there's a lot of dust. At the side there's a tent which is great to keep you out of the rain. Toilets and showers are available. But for customers only. All in all a great place to stop by and no doubt I'll be by again. Enjoy.”
“Fabulous cafe Great service, fast turnaround and food was delicious Perfect chips”
“Small cafe with nice staff yummy cakes and you can get alcohol drinks as well love place to visit”
“Stumbled upon Stars while in Buxton on a shopping trip and had a fabulous full English breakfast and a huge pot of tea served by super friendly people. We’ll definitely be heading there again next time we’re in town.”
“We stopped for breakfast on the way home from trike (motorbike) rally at Ellerdine. Staff were very friendly and efficient. We ordered a full English cooked breakfast for my husband (sausages, egg, bacon, beans, toast, tea - he refused the tomatoes) which he said was very good, nicely cooked and appetising; and cheese on toast, which was lovely. The bread was cut from a fresh loaf and there was a good amount of cheese without being sickly. The breakfasts arrived quickly and were piping hot. The cafe was basic, but clean and comfortable, and the food reasonably priced. Obviously a good place for bikers to meet on a rideout. Will definitely be returning.”
“Genuinely some of the nicest food I've had. Great customer service.”
“Cracking find, it's through a gateway near Barclays Bank. Lovely cafe with lots of seating (some upstairs as well I understand). Comprehensive menu which has something for everyone, we had the breakfast. This came freshly cooked and was very tasty. Service was excellent, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We paid under £20 for 2 breakfasts, tea and coffee, beats the £15 we paid in Costa for 2 coffees and mediocre sandwiches.”
“Always friendly atmosphere & great food”
“Tradition: Every year when we are visiting family we come here for a bacon and cheese butty, we find them the best in town.”
“Good breakfast to start our day. I think Stoke-on-Trent is famous for oatcakes. My first time to have it and I really enjoyed. The oatcakes were very fluffy and was held together well with the melted cheese. The mushrooms were very juicy and plump. The bacon was cooked perfectly. The egg had a slightly runny yolk which made it creamy too. It was a filling dish. I wanted more but I cant really have more otherwise I wouldnt fit in my gown ( I was gonna attend a wedding)”
“Lovely well decorated cafe, great quality food and lovely staff. 10/10 would come again :)”
“Just been in and had the best ever Bacon and grilled tomato. Adhering to Covid 19 guidelines. Food hot , very tasty. Staff friendly and efficient. Just come across this nugget of a cafe. Highly recommend and will definitely be using this again.”
