“We had a mug of Nescafé decaf coffee. Lovely staff, very helpful. Good price.. Hubby on a 4 wheeled mobility scooter (one that comes apart to fit into car boot, for those who read this review on the type of mobility scooter). He was sat at a table with scooter at side of us.”

“What a fantastic place! We've passed this a few times over the last couple months but it's always been closed out of hours. But today I took my 20 months old son for the first time and this is a game changer. Large screens in the cafe for the adults to sit and watch their kids whilst they all get on playing in the huge area decked out with everything a kid could wish for. Blocks, chalk, cars, dinosaurs, books. Very clean, very welcoming, lots of fun and an absolute bargain at £1.50. Highly recommended.”

“I was here yesterday for lunch with my girlfriend and we had a wonderful time. Of course, the cafe is in a great location, and we enjoyed sitting outside (despite the cold!) taking in the view and watching all the birds who came and went from the decking area. What we loved here was the attention to detail in the food: We ordered a jacket potato with cheese and a leek and potato soup - the cheese was already melted into the potato, and the bread that came with the soup was toasted! Little things like this turned it from a good meal into a great one! Whenever we're back in Stafford, this will definitely be somewhere we try to visit again.”

“Excellent sausage barm and carrot cake. Great tea and coffee. All at reasonable prices. Clean cafe. Lots of outside and undercover seating on Platform 2 with views of the trains. Pleasant, polite and helpful staff. Car park and a fairly short walk from the lake. Don't miss out on riding on the narrow gauge trains. Recommended!”

“Lovely little cafe and superb location just before or after biddulph country park pop in for toasties, panni or oatcakes. Coffee and cake, whichever you fancy, the people are polite, and the area is lovely. I've been in a couple of times and had a lovely Ice cream yesterday. It's impossible not to like.”
