“I have been here for breakfast a few times now and it is always lovely. Staff are kind and attentive. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. We recently ordered sandwiches for a family party. There was an issue with the order on the day but the staff were quick to rectify this which was greatly appreciated. The sandwiches were good quality and everyone enjoyed them.”
“I've called in at this cafe numerous times now, having walked the dogs along the canal. Every time the service and food has been second to none. Staff are excellent and attentive. Clean and prompt. I wish I'd found this place sooner. Currently sat after a full English and debating moving but decided I need another cuppa first. Dog friendly and brilliant. Hats off to the owners. A proper cafe with proper food cooked to perfection. Including a runny yolk on a fabulous poached egg!!! 5 star.”
“Unbelievably good food, never had a bad meal here. Lovely staff, good location, great coffee. Average prices. Definitely worth a visit.”
“Absolutely brilliant little space for celebrating 'the arts' and recognising and appreciating talent and passion. Run with passion. Gorgeous vegan brownies too! (pretty sure they count as one of your '5 a day'!)”
“Small cafe with nice staff yummy cakes and you can get alcohol drinks as well love place to visit”
“Wonderful, kind staff and a friendly crowd. Love this place. Food is now only snacks which is great, I just wish there was more allergy friendly options.”
“What a fantastic place! We've passed this a few times over the last couple months but it's always been closed out of hours. But today I took my 20 months old son for the first time and this is a game changer. Large screens in the cafe for the adults to sit and watch their kids whilst they all get on playing in the huge area decked out with everything a kid could wish for. Blocks, chalk, cars, dinosaurs, books. Very clean, very welcoming, lots of fun and an absolute bargain at £1.50. Highly recommended.”
“Really good food, very generous serving for the price!”
“Sharon was super helpful at Crewe Station in the early hours of the morning at Pumpkin Cafe. She was very patient & speedy with my breakfast order & was extra not rushing with my awkward tired self. Food was piping hot & hit the spot. Would definitely recommend her & will visit her again. Thanks Sharon! :-)”
“What a find this cafe/grooming salon is. I needed my dogs nails clipping, and when I googled if there was anywhere local I could have this done apart from the vets, it stated Charlie and co did a walk in service. We arrived no issue, the young lady in the salon was brilliant with our dog who is a rescue, so we were unsure if he would be nervous, he rushed into the grooming area no problem, we went and had a coffee and before we knew it he was done! Fabulous service we will be back. The girls are a great team. Oh and lots of doggy friends for your pouch to meet downstairs in the cafe.”
“Perfect brunch spot to catch up with a friend after ages. Great atmosphere, amazing food. Definitely recommend!”
“Excellent value, outstanding service. Breakfast was super good. Wide choice, all cooked perfectly. Team Dee work well together, they made us feel very welcome and as a collective they have created a wonderful friendly environment welcoming people along with their dogs, the cafe spotlessly clean. All of this adds to a rich customer experience often sought but rarely archived. Last, location is perfect, canal side, places to walk and space to provide and accessible to all”
“Lovely place for coffee and cake. Really nicely done inside, and lovely outdoor decking and seating area. Nice friendly and efficient service.”
“Lovely place, got take out this morning for the first time but eat in regularly. Great coffee and tea, delicious food, recommend but save me my seat!”
“Lovely cafe with great food and friendly people running it. Nice little area to sit outside and pretend you’re in Paris. Can take the dog which is great. Charcuterie board is so good and onion soup was amazing - better than I could have expected! There were gluten free options on the menu and in the fresh cakes too.”
“Very good menu for both food and drink. Breakfasts were amazing and the juices were very good. I ordered a second to take away. The service was excellent too - friendly, polite and efficient. Can't wait to go back!”
“Have always stayed at travel lodge in middlewich but so glad i tried Hopley House room was brilliant can not fault the place was easy to find and easy parking very friendly and polite staff and so much to look at only place i will use now when visiting Middlewich top marks all round”
“Came here for lunch and had delicious food. I had a regular size (which was a decent size) pizza Arriba, which was delicious! The dough is fantastic, I like a doughy pizza and this one delivered on that. The toppings were really generous, too. I did ask to change the chorizo to nduja, which was kindly done for me, although after ordering and paying, I was then told there were no peppers available. Not a biggie, but I think it's fair to be told things like that before paying. My wife went for the Mancini pasta, which she said was also delicious. Especially the mushrooms in the dish. I tried one and agreed that the flavours were incredible. They taken on the flavours of the chorizo and were just so moreish! She said it was only warm, though, and could have done with being a bit hotter. The drinks we ordered they didn't have in stock, and I got the impression they maybe don't stock what's on the menu as they had other beers (although they didn't have it available to buy, just had one on display) and wines that weren't on the menu, which again isn't a biggie, but a little strange. The staff were friendly. We paid just over 32.50 for the pizza, pasta, glass of wine, and a beer, which we felt was fair, especially as the food was so nice. Overall, we enjoyed the food and would go back again.”
“Visited for the first time and had a lovely lunch. I had the Nourish Bowl and it was fabulous, just the type of food I enjoy. Crisp raw vegetables, a yummy dip, tasty hummus, sweet potatoes, falafel and couscous. Will definitely visit again!”
“What an absolute delight this amazing place is. You first enter and think it’s a butchers then there is a shop which has stopped in time only to discover the museum gosh it took me back to a very young girl! We then approached the cheese section, I was salivating only to then go to the most quaint ordering counter and place our breakfast order which all the meat came from the butchers at the front off the shop ! The breakfast was truly amazing we had the full English breakfast , my son and I had the omelet with everything and we left with very contented tummies and a shopping bag full of lovely goodies bought from the shop & cheese from their own counter my only regret was that I didn’t buy their last home made pork pie ! So I will have to go back This truely is an amazing spot to go to you will not be disappointed”
“Really enjoyed having a little stop at this cafe for a drink. In the centre of town just off the main area it’s big enough for maybe 25 people with various tables inside and out. Toilets on site and it’s wheelchair accessible too. They allowed our dog in as he was well behaved. Lovely service and very friendly. We had a couple of cream teas with great clotted cream and home made scones - it was a great time thanks”
“Always a great day out. Some great shops within, just wish they would open 7 days a week. It is annoying to find some close Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Both cafes are excellent with great food and fantastic staff. Massive car park but does need lighting in the Winter months as dark at 4pm but open till 5pm.”
“Quirky decor, staff are lovely, food and drinks are amazing. The milkshakes are soooo nice. Love this place”
“Lovely little cafe in nantwich. Very clean, nice people, great food, excellent value.”
“Really enjoyable experience coming here. There’s a staff member, possibly the manager, wearing pink trainers who always keeps things running well and with a smile on her face.”
“4 of us called in for lunch today (Aug ank Hol) Good was excellent , service friendly and definitely value for money. Topped it off with an ice cream after. Only have good things to say about this cafe.”
“We have been here a couple of times now and find the staff extremely courteous, excellent service with the added extra of superb home made food. Very reasonable…inexpensive (not cheap!). Just keep it secret!”
“Fantastic garden centre… and it’s huge! The food market was amazing, so many treats, it’s hard to resist buying something. Nice cafe’s, but get there early as they get very busy towards lunchtime. The show gardens are amazing. £8 entry fee, but this is very reasonable considering the size and the upkeep of them all. I’ll definitely go back later in the year as we’d just missed a lot of the springtime flowers.”
“I was working the antiques market Saturday and popped in for a drink and loo break. The ladies behind the bar were so lovely! And worked like clockwork. The barista who served me was such a lovely girl and I enjoyed chatting about vintage clothing and charity shopping with her. Well done ladies your amazing and smashing it on a busy day!”
“Best one , good service, good food”
