Stopped here after a walk along the canal. Lots of seating outside in the sun and close to the water. Great on a warmer day but we chose to sit indoors. We both had cheese toasties which were okay but the wait was longer than I'd have expected. Great big pot of tea though which is always welcoming. All in all a decent place for a snack. Will go again soon. Dogs are welcome inside which is great if you've got one.

I've called in at this cafe numerous times now, having walked the dogs along the canal. Every time the service and food has been second to none. Staff are excellent and attentive. Clean and prompt. I wish I'd found this place sooner. Currently sat after a full English and debating moving but decided I need another cuppa first. Dog friendly and brilliant. Hats off to the owners. A proper cafe with proper food cooked to perfection. Including a runny yolk on a fabulous poached egg!!! 5 star.

I had the most amazing spicy tomato soup from Simon & Linda's Nantwich Marina Cafe today. Full of flavour with plump juicy tomatoes, full of flavour. Can't wait to order again with friendly helpful service.

What a lovely Waterside oasis, inside the Nantwich canal Basin and moorings. Lovely welcoming staff, gorgeous tranquil atmosphere, relaxing and calm. The outdoors seating tables and covered patio is pure bliss, the Nantwich canal Basin in front of you, a lovely chilled bottle of Shropshire Gold ale and a delicious Coronation chicken wrap with homemade fresh coleslaw and side of crisps is just perfect on a sunny, scorching hot day. Thanks Waterside Café staff for such a memorable experience and visit. Highly recommend this Waterside oasis.

I have been coming to Nantwich for a couple of years and have walked past this place many times but today is the first time I have been in. I was eating alone and there were tables available inside and out. I sat inside. The counter was very inviting with a good selection of cakes and biscuits. The menu I was given was a lunchtime one so I assume they have a separate breakfast menu so can’t comment on the choice. I had the avocado, hummus and sun tried tomato sandwich which was very nice; plenty of filling and nice bread. I had a very good pot of tea and I bought a raspberry, almond and white chocolate blondie to take home. It was devoured shortly after I arrived home and was delicious. This cafe is well worth searching out if passing through Nantwich either by car or narrow boat. The staff were friendly and a sandwich, cake and drink for less than £10 was good value. Recommended.
