“It was our first visit to Sophias the welcome was very friendly attentive and best of all dog friendly. The food was tasty well presented and a nice fresh coffee . “We stopped for breakfast on the way home from trike (motorbike) rally at Ellerdine. Staff were very friendly and efficient. We ordered a full English cooked breakfast for my husband (sausages, egg, bacon, beans, toast, tea - he refused the tomatoes) which he said was very good, nicely cooked and appetising; and cheese on toast, which was lovely. The bread was cut from a fresh loaf and there was a good amount of cheese without being sickly. The breakfasts arrived quickly and were piping hot. The cafe was basic, but clean and comfortable, and the food reasonably priced. Obviously a good place for bikers to meet on a rideout. Will definitely be returning.”
