It was our first visit to Sophias the welcome was very friendly attentive and best of all dog friendly. The food was tasty well presented and a nice fresh coffee . We would recommend this place to anyone to top the service we were given the lovely scones to try thank you and its nice to see lovely owners and staff..Sat johal and Julie Brindley
Absolutely amazing place. Stopped for breakfast to start the day. Had a sausage and black pudding sandwich, the freshly made bread was gorgeous, really makes a lovely change from normal shop brought bread, my husband had a full English which he said was lovely, plenty on the plate all cooked beautifully. Staff are very friendly, while paying I mentioned it was my husband's birthday, and when he left he was given 2 cupcakes and was told happy birthday. What a lovely thing to do, it was the first time we've been in, and will definitely come in again. Highly recommend this place. Thank you for the cakes and the amazing breakfast. This cafe is definitely worth the visit you won't be disappointed food is so delicious and fresh and well presented... All meals are filling and nutritious loads of offer too. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Prices are amazing for what you get. I'm a coffee person and their coffee is smooth not burnt and sour tasting.

From entering, the service from staff is impeccable. There is ample seating, all of clean condition and cleaned quickly after customers leave. The drinks and food menu is varied, with amazing value and large portions. I purchased two large sandwiches and it fed my three children with leftovers. If you are inn need of food in the area then this is a definite recommendation.
Been in twice in one week. Lovely atmosphere, staff were really friendly and helpful. Real community spirit feel. Nice and varied menu with very good prices. Prettiest looking ploughmans that I've ever had!
