βMe and my housemates had a great experience living here. The property was in a great location (shops, train station, and bus stops all in walking distance) and the rent was very reasonable. Sami, the landlord, was friendly and always quick to respond to our calls and fix any issues we had, with great communication throughout our stay. Definitely recommend this property to students.β
βIt is the first time I found a Tibetan restaurant in the United Kingdom. The restaurant owner is a Tibetan who moved to the UK a long time ago. The decorations and atmosphere of the restaurant is very unique. The food quality is also impressive too. I highly recommend Momo and Bhod Jha. However, the portion of dishes is not very large and may be more suitable for ladies. Highly recommended!β
βThe most amazing cafe has relocated to Longton opposite Iceland! The food is amazing, they have different dishes made every day, normally a type of Tagine with lentil soups, the sides are really flavourful too, I did like the chicken Wrap as the taste is unlike any other wraps I have tasted. Tea is must try too, moroccan mint tea is the best. I recommend everyone try this placeβ
βFirst visit, we will be back! Great food, great service and well priced food and drink. Well worth the trip, cosy yet a real fun place to be.β
βHighly recommend!!! wonderful food. Great dessert, and brilliant service. you should really come.β
βFirst time at the Spice Merchant, the restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere, the staff pleasant and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious and we ate everything! I would recommend it to family and friends and would say booking is essential at the weekends. So much better than Pabna!β
βJust amazing. Perfect level of attentiveness from staff, atmosphere pitched just right between quiet and noisy (enjoyed listening to post-OK Computer era Radiohead all night!) and the food was incomparable. Every dish was a new and surprising adventure for the tastebuds. Never would have picked Whitchurch as a culinary hotspot but Wild Shropshire is single-handedly making it so.β
βLovely lunch with very gentle, friendly and relaxed but efficient service. Full of flavour, fabulous quality ingredients, and extremely pretty presentation.β
βI had the pleasure of dining at the Olive Tree Restaurant and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the food was nothing short of amazing. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented. What made the evening even more special was the lovely surprise at the end β a complimentary dessert on the house! It was the perfect sweet touch to round off a perfect meal. I canβt recommend Olive Tree enough β whether itβs a casual meal or a special occasion, you wonβt be disappointed. Iβll definitely be back!β
βDonβt listen to the haters. Anyone can cherry pick some tiny negative details. This was an exquisite and generous offering which surprised and delighted. It enabled a group of school friends to reunite. We were given the best seat in the house with views of the river. Nice decor throughout. Service was well informed and pleasant without being intrusive. Recommend the cheese course. Very memorable.β
βEverything about Bacchus is truly amazing. The food, the atmosphere, the staff is just brilliant. I cannot praise this restaurant highly enough.β
βIt's our local Indian since we moved to Huntington 2023 haven't had a bad meal there at all. We broke with tradition and went for Xmas day Indian banquet couldn't fault the food, the staff they make you feel so welcome.β
βHad dinner there, atmosphere so nice and food is superb. Fresh bread was so good. Staff friendly and attentive . Definitely recommendedβ
βWe spent a long weekend in nearby Alton and stumbled across this restaurant, and what a treat! Not only a lovely change from the usual pub grub so commonly found locally, but it was super tasty. We live in London and are picky about our curries, but this place definitely ticked the box. Even our little ones really enjoyed the korma. Just be warned about those portion sizes! Great service too. Chaps who work there were very welcoming and attentive. Would recommend.β
βReally great food, and good value too. Between 4 of us, 9 dishes, a pudding and a drink each came to Β£120 - can't argue with that!β
βA great family run business. We have been many times and again another fabulous meal at Amore. Food - hot, tasty, good portion sizes and good selection to choose from. Nice buzzing atmosphere and friendly staff. I would recommend to anyone.β
βReally nice little casual fine dining restaurant. Cosy place, good attentive service and excellent food. The gravadlax starter was very refreshing and the chicken vol au vent tasty. The The roast dinners were good and my pork chop with tempura corn was outstanding very well cooked. Desserts were tasty as well, a good example of Tiramisu and great cherry bakewell. Enjoyed the experience, would like to try the tasting menu next time, not cheap but worth it for high quality food.β
βLucky enough to be treated to Sunday Roast by friends from Cheadle. Visited from Canada and spent 10 days in UK, the food here was the best we had even compared to London! Best Wishes for continued success!!!β
βBrilliant place to eat, the food is superb, cooked fresh, always hot at your plate, couldn't ask for better I have never been disappointed.β
βGreat to find a good range of Belgian beers, including several zero alcohol beers. Sadly, there was no bar food available when we were there. Very friendly staff. Live music in the courtyard made for a great atmosphere.β
βExcellent meal this evening. Staff were friendly and efficient, plates warmed and napkins replaced automatically between courses. It's the little things that make a difference. Now for the food. Absolutely stunning presentation. Starters and mains both looked exquisite and tasted sublime. Large portions and good value for money. It really does make the evening special when you have food that tastes good, looks amazing and is served by staff that are friendly and attentive. Thank you. Highly recommended and we will be back!β
βGreat food at lunchtime, with full flavour.β
βFirst time coming here and will say food and service was exceptional, will definitely be backβ
βTom was really lovely, friendly and attentive - always kept checking on us to make sure we didnβt need anything else. Food was pretty good, not much cheese on the garlic bread but not fuming about it or anything & pasta was lovely.β
βGreat food and service Loved the Guinea Fowl with Orange & Cranberry Sauce The veg was generously sized and al dente Hats off to the chefs ! Fantastic variety of Unique Ales and Wines Iβm not sure who sourced all of these ales but theyβre very resourceful lol I loved the Bitburger shandy ( low alcohol but very fruity taste ) Will definitely revisit soon Ps the High Leigh locals are so so friendly as wellβ
βAn absolutely beautiful 7 course meal. We couldnβt fault anything. 5 stars βοΈ isnβt enough for this fantastic place. My only one regret is, all the staff signed a birthday card for Lucy, and she forgot to pick it up. She was gutted on our way home.β
βWent on a Saturday for the lunch, it was quiet at the time, only 3 of us were the customers . We ordered masala dosa, kizhi parotta beef , fish thali and two mango lassi. The place is clean and had a good vibe with music. Food came out within 25 minutes and food was amazing. Portion size is very generous. I think itβs value for the money. Only thing I noted customer service is not up to the standard might need some training on it. Highly recommended if youβre are in to South Indian food.β
βReally good portion sizes and really nice attentive staff. Food was nice and tasty. The chairs are slightly uncomfy but our meal was really nice and made up for it, and I would go back!β
βVisited for a family birthday. Food was lovely, couldn't fault it. Staff were friendly and we had no issues with the service. We look forward to either returning to eat in or to take away.β
βAbsolutely delightful eatery, food was scrummy and staff couldnβt do enough for us. Made me have an epiphany on the drive back home so would definitely recommendβ
