“The most amazing cafe has relocated to Longton opposite Iceland! The food is amazing, they have different dishes made every day, normally a type of Tagine with lentil soups, the sides are really flavourful too, I did like the chicken Wrap as the taste is unlike any other wraps I have tasted. Tea is must try too, moroccan mint tea is the best. I recommend everyone try this place”
“Some of the best food I have tried in a while - something about these cash only, lack of 'Instagrammable ' decor , olden school restaurants are amazing. The prices are really good especially platters in terms of portion size, the meat is all freshly cooked as is the rice and curries. I would definitely recommend.”
“Oh! My! Sweet! Jaysus! This food was absolutely fantastic! I walked in asking for something the chef would be proud of. Gentlemen you should be very proud, it was some of the best, if not THE best Turkish food I’ve ever had! 1000 stars!!!”
“Super delicious and fresh food, made on the spot and really tasty. Great value for a huge portion. Be aware they don't accept card so you need cash or to be able to do bank transfer.”
“Amazing place been here for years, food is incredible… new doughnuts are a must they are amazing!!!”
“I was visiting Stoke and looking for somewhere to eat tasty and healthy vegan food - i found the right place! Everything was home made, delicious and served with love. The portions were massive! The best falafel wrap iv had in a long time (and I eat a lot!) Really enjoyed eating here and speaking to the boss if I'm ever in Stoke again il be visiting here for sure.”
“Been several times and excellent food every time. The lambs liver was full of flavour and moist, staff are always very friendly. But always gets very busy so booking recommended”
“Toffs is a wonderful cafe right in the middle of Hanley. It's got a gorgeous terrace facing south meaning you've got sun all day. I had a latte and a baklava, probably the best I had in my life. And the family who runs the business, they are the friendliest you can get - you won't get a better welcome and service anywhere near. Will certainly return.”
“I have been coming to Nigde for over 30 years! Tried every kebab they do and they are all excellent. I had a large chicken shish the other day and it was honestly sensational!! Will be back!!”
“Randomly picked this place as I was working in the area. I must say it was a great visit to dine at this place delicious food and very reasonable price. Staff is also very friendly and helpful”
“We booked the function room upstairs for a hen party and it was perfect! The perfect size for what we needed and the staff were so helpful. We booked grazing boards for the event with the chef and they were absolutely brilliant. Couldn't recommend them more. The drinks from downstairs were delicious and well priced. Can't thank you all enough.”
“Very good and fresh cooked food. You will always have part of a warm welcome. Staff is very amiable and they always try to offer you the best service and help you choose the best dishes for your taste. Is the second time when I was there and definitely not the last. It is not a big restaurant but they act like one. I recommend you to go and try there delicious Turkish food and I'm sure if it's the first time for you, it won't be the last. Congratulations for your food and hospitality.”
“Very tasty food at a great price. Very cheap food but big on flavour and taste. Excellent portions for the price too. Cost at the time £4.50 for my plate of meat. Worth going in to pick up not really eat in kinda place. Great for locals to pick up think they deliver after 5pm for locals. I was passing through and had a quick bite I ended up eating at the side table on the bar stools this was sufficient for someone on their travels.”
“I ordered from Lahori Kababish through Uber Eats today, and although the delivery experience was awful, the driver mixed up the orders and took nearly two hours’ the restaurant itself was outstanding. When I called, the owner, Mr Ahmed, was extremely apologetic and personally remade and delivered my food within 30–40 minutes. The meal arrived hot, fresh, and incredibly delicious: authentic flavours, amazing kebabs, a gorgeous Karahi, and soft, fresh naans. I’ve dined there before and the service has always been immaculate, with a lovely complimentary dessert to finish. The restaurant is a definite five-star experience, even if Uber Eats let me down.”
“I ordered Chicken Paneer with rice and a portion of chips for just over £10. The delivery arrived 15-20 minutes earlier which was great. Boiled rice cooked perfectly, chips were hot and perfectly seasoned with salt + vinegar. Many takeaways are soggy. Chicken Paneer was amazing, large chunks of Chicken, perfectly spiced, minimal oil. Cheaper curries tend to be very oily. I was also given free Poppadoms that I was not expecting. The woman who delivered was super friendly. You can see why this takeaway has so many good reviews. I highly recommend! 10/10. Can't we wait to order again.”
