“Amazing again, had afternoon tea. The quality and quantity are just brilliant. I will keep coming back for more.”
“I get take out food every other week while I'm at work, and its amazing. Loads of vegan options, and the owners are so lovely. Always love trying new bits. The vegan hot chocolate is lovely and the jacket potatoes and toasties are divine!!!”
“I've been here a few times now and I can safely say I'll be calling in many more times whilst I'm working in Shrewsbury. The food is spot on and the strawberry milkshakes are the best I've ever had. They have homemade cakes as well but I am yet to sample them. Perhaps on my next visit.... If you're on Castle Street and fancy a bite, I highly recommend you call in.”
“Good little Costa. Staff were polite and service was quite quick .”
“We have been coming to Costa for many years. The best part isn’t really the coffee, it’s the staff. These are some of the nicest people you will ever meet; being super kind and friendly, and making some of the best drinks you will ever drink. They are the reason that Costa tastes better, because it’s the dedication and love into coffee making that’s the secret ingredient to a better drink. Sadly, the ‘chain’ itself, or its higher management so to speak, has made decisions in recency that leave you feeling a bit cheaped out on. Over the years we have noticed steady price increases (even befor the cost of living and inflation). While there is something to be said about struggling business these days, Costa is by no means small and they are owned by Coca-Cola. They are not struggling for money. Furthermore, shortly after a recent price hike for all of the food at Costa, Costa started taking out sausages from their Sausage baps to go from 4 to 3. They then made them smaller only a few months later. This is a blatant cash grab and a cheap out from Costas executives and it is especially upsetting given there was no price reduction to make up for it. We recently also found out that these same executives are now not allowing stores to sell their leftover pastries at 50% off in order to clear them out, but rather throw them away if they aren’t sold at full price. This is a total waste and is a shame since these pastries can be quite expensive and they still get money with a sale rather than the bin. No blame can be put on their staff, they are doing their best and put effort into making the experience as good as it can be, but the higher management at Costa are only looking for a higher profit line, and it shows.”
“Love this Costa. The staff are always super friendly and attentive. Always welcomed with a smile and chat. Coffee order is always perfect. Food was lovely, only had a cake. The store is clean and tidy and well presented.”
“Lovely breakfast with a fantastic Kurdish tea .”
“The coffee is clean and the service is so fast. The staff are professional and served us quickly. The service station is clean. Enjoyed staying there having our coffee .”
“Lovely outlet at Crewe station, with plenty of food options- paninis, other savoury and sweet options. Both hot and cold coffees available. The staff were courteous. Quick service. Nominal price.”
“This is a coffee shop offers costa coffee branded drinks which is always a good point to buy a hot chocolate at the end of the day when you need it most, it's located in the forbidden valley and does have a small outside area aswell as the indoor coffee lounge but as you can imagine it's somewhat noisy based in between one of the nemesis rides and Toxicator so not ideal if you want a quiet 10 minutes throughout the day. But it is ideal if your planning on leaving via the exit gate at galacticor which is next to all the car parks”
“Haven't been to these services for a while and was pleasantly surprised. Modernised, good range of outlets, good toilets that were clean, good van and caravan parking and pleasant places to sit inside or out. Coffee and cookies at Pret were what you'd expect with pleasant and efficient service.”

“Great place to find. Lovely coffee, if a slightly restricted menu.”
“Really great plant-based food. Edit: Unfortunately, the owner has decided to start serving non-vegan items. This means we won't be visiting again as we can go to places like that much closer to home. I will leave my rating as is, because the food was good, and so was the service, but I would never go back due to his reaction to responses on social media - and then his ridiculous commentary in the tabloid press.”
“Ordered a cake for a 60th birthday and just wow! Very simple and easy to order over the phone and collect (or have delivered). Cake looked and tasted amazing. Outstanding place and staff, will definitely be back for a milkshake or two. Thank you so much!!”
“I would share a photo of my Roast of the Day bap, with a generous amount of tasty beef and loads of crispy roast potatoes, but I’ve eaten the lot! This place is special. The welcome is genuine and caring. And the bread and butter pudding was delicious. I managed a quick pic of that before finishing it.”
“Lovely cosy coffee shop with friendly staff and a great selection of homemade vegan cakes and seasonal drinks. Feels really homey and comfortable - some folks on laptops, some chatting and others enjoying a quiet moment. Well located for the train station too.”
“Lovely little cafe for a bit of breakfast in 2 minutes walk from the car park. Hot food no problem at all. Thanks girls”
“Staff always so friendly and helpful. Food is lovely and great value Chilled atmosphere love it”
“Great selection of beer, lovely atmosphere, and arguably the best cocktails ever”
“Food was spot on and friendly staff too Very good prices and great value for ur money. Deffo worth a visit again when I'm next working in the area.”
“Booked a table for 3 for lunch on Friday. Tim greeted us and made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble from start to finish. He even took photos for us. The food was delicious and the service was great as always. It's such a lovely place to go and eat and then finish with a walk around the shop or the garden centre or both. Just love Jackson's Nursery.”
“Lovely cafe with great food and friendly people running it. Nice little area to sit outside and pretend you’re in Paris. Can take the dog which is great. Charcuterie board is so good and onion soup was amazing - better than I could have expected! There were gluten free options on the menu and in the fresh cakes too.”
“All perfect from beginning to end, shown to our room which was clean and smart. Good selection of beers in the bar itself. And the breakfast was simple but more than adequate for the onward journey. Top marks all round.”
“Great quality food. Great atmosphere and fab team. So so full. Highly recommend the full breakfast. Such good food! And the staff are lovely. Always go there when I need a good meal”
“I took my mum for a festive afternoon tea, its was so good! Lovely staff and the scones were amazing! Best turkey Sandwhiches I've had in years!”
“Comprehensive brunch menu. Well cooked, lovely polite and helpful staff. Reasonably priced, not cheap but you get what you pay for a quality well cooked meal. Thank you.”
