   Dreadful place. Cold and raining outside and they wedge the door open so it's absolutely freezing. They have the heating on full blast which isn't helping much. They are just basically warming the street negligibly while screwing the planet. Customer WiFi doesn't work, staff are clueless and ignorant. Other than that, rely good.

   Very helpful staff, and probably better than the average Costa, my score is reduced owing to two factors:- Accessibility is awkward, a little ramp is available for wheelchair users for the entrance but it's short and the manoeuvring space immediately inside is very tight. Acoustics in cafés is usually poor, reverberating a lot of the noise, it seems worse than normal here.

   Unfortunately, I don’t like it at all. I ordered in this Costa many times and in my opinion this is the worst coffee in Buxton. Staff medium friendly, but ok - depends who. Coffee tastes like a water. Sweet coffees are the worst one - no taste. Maybe I will come one day and try to change my opinion but for now…

   I know this shop just seems to have set up and it's in its infancy but I just think that it is too small and that the reception for people to use the Costa app, needs to improve. I just could not get phone reception and there seemed to be no wi fi to log onto. I was getting embarrassed as I held the qué up, trying to scan my offers an app. I'm sure next time I go, it will improve and then I may up the rating. Obviously the coffee and cakes are as standard for any Costa.

   Location great, coffee good, service and friendliness lacking. Attention to detail needs improvement. Ordered 2 lattes to take away, with one shot of coffee each. First started to do our drinks in latte glasses when we had asked for takeout, no apologies and then Had to explain to the girl we only wanted one shot of coffee as she was about to pour in a double shot. Grabbed receipt off counter, looked at it and slammed it back down. Drinks pushed in front of us with a half hearted smile. At £6.70 we do t expect the red carpet, but other local Costas provide a much nicer and friendlier service.
